I have used this on 4 cutting boards so far and it appears that the oil and wax does its job. Time will tell if it holds up and does its job.

A friend told me about this product and I tired it and I will use it for the rest of my life. It brought back life to my cutting boards boards that are 50 years old. They look brand new again and I couldnt be happier because they belonged to my parents and are special to me.

Ive got two Boos cutting boards; one huge one thats 3 thick and a new one thats 1 thick. The huge one developed cracks between the laminations so when I bought the new one, I bought this stuff, too. Although Ive used Boos Mystery Oil on the old one, it didnt seem to help--its basically mineral oil with antimicrobials added to it. Im hoping the Board Cream (mineral oil and beeswax) will fill in the gap in the large board and keep it from splitting further. Overall, the price is too high for what it is but if itll keep these outrageously expensive cutting boards from becoming firewood, Im good with it.

I bought this, in spite of price, due to the reviews here, which makes it sound like something magical. I normally use different kinds of cutting-board oil etc, and there is ZERO difference when using the not-as-expensive stuff as this one. I dont get paid for writing reviews - possibly thats the one difference. You can try it, but make sure you also get the less expensive stuff and compare.

To tell the truth this kit is invaluable to protect your wood blocks from moisture and water damage. Adding this oil really brings back the lift in your wood products.

Who knew oiling and treating a cutting board could make such an amazing difference. I actually enjoyed putting the product on the board. Theres nothing better than a boos so this is a must!!

I like the product but i’m upset that it came and was burst open. Both the oil and the cream had exploded during shipping. Its very moisturizing and a good protectant but I cant use exploded containers.

I ordered this for my new table. Along with the order was a complete series of a box set on dvd. The order was delivered pretty much wrapped in a cheap ziploc bag with the dvds. Packaged so cheap, the oil and cream spilled all over my movies. You would think they would at least have common knowledge to ship it in a box so the packages will not leak/ would not recommend this unless you are willing to have a nasty greasy package delivered to your door. I paid 20 dollars for about 10 dollars worth of oil and cream. Waste of money:
