Oil soaked in nicely overnight but cream seemed mostly to sit on top judging from the number of paper towels required to wipe off “excess.” Hard to determine actual benefit of treatment outside of shinier appearance.

Product does all it claims but consider buying food grade mineral oil (in the laxative aisle at drug store) - Walmart has for two dollars and the cream is primarily Bees wax.

The best preservative and maintenance products I have ever used on my cutting boards.

Good combnation. probably overpriced but at least I knw they are quality products that work.

This oil doesn’t cut any kind of board.

Keeps my cutting boards looking great. I apply monthly since my boards are used daily. Depending on how much use and how the board looks, I may use one product or the other and sometimes both products. I feel like using hot water for cleaning the boards tends to remove the product over time. It does require a bit of time to let the product soak in.

Instead of using a polyurethane for my island butcher block counter top, I use these products as instructed. Food comes off easily with a quick wipe and even balsamic dressing comes off easily, as does red wine. The trick is to wipe it off asap and not let it sit. Every three or four weeks a new coat is suggested. I have followed that suggestion and a very satisfied with the product. It gives a natural finish that compliments the soapstone counter tops adjacent to the island

I have a barrel in my house from one of my favorite wineries. Over the year that weve had it, its dried out a lot. We didnt think about treating it with anything until I stumbled upon this mystery oil online. I ordered the oil and cream. I used a cotton cloth to apply it to the barrel, rubbing it in as I went along. Then, I followed it up with the cream. The barrel has never looked so good! Its now a deep, rich color and has expanded to its original shape. Whats great is that these products dont have a scent, so I didnt have to worry about that being overpowering. I also used the oil and cream on my cutting board and it looks brand new as well!

I use this on all my wooden cutting boards. Best thing I have used to keep my wood cutting boards moisturized and looking great.
