Applied mystery oil to brand new Boos Block cutting board. Took 3 applications just to get the appropriate results. The cream aids in cleanup but washes off fairly quickly. There are far cheaper alternatives (food-grade mineral oil) out there.

Excellent product for cutting boards. Keeps them sealed and durable. Love it!

Works great with boos board! I even used it on wooden spoons and various wood utensils I had around the kitchen.

Would only use Boos products on our Boos boards. We have a couple of cutting boards and a full sized Boos butcher block table and the quality of craftsmanship is unsurpassed. The Boos brothers company knows how to take care of their blocks with these products. Easy to apply and last quite a long time. Would not buy any other product for out blocks.

I return the first delivered item because the block cream brownish in color and not silky at all. The color should be yellowish just like in the picture. The seller replaced it right away. I have received it but it still looks the same, brownish NOT yellowish. I’m skeptical to use it on my Boos Block as this is where i will be cutting my food. All the cream that i see from pictures and even in the store is yellow color. But the seller is good in replacing the item in a very timely manner but i’m not sure about the item.

We received this set of board oil and board cream and were less than pleased. We opted to return the defective items and allow the seller to make good and send us a replacement. The replacement set was worse than the first set. The first set the board oil looked perfect and the board cream was very brown in color rather than the yellow it should be. After doing some research on the manufacturers website we decided to return the set as they indicated the cream was bad and should not be used. We Returned the defective set and received the replacement set the following day. We were very excited as we are wanting to prepare our Boos Block cutting board for use. We opened the package and were immediately disappointed. The board oil is not the correct color or consistency... and the board cream is an even darker Brown than the one before. We are very sad and disappointed this product did not work out. I am guessing amazon just has too many in stock and they are going bad. However, we will not be ordering this particular product through amazon again and will be going through a different seller.
