Kaytee Clean & Cozy White Small Animal Bedding For Pet Guinea Pigs, Rabbits, Hamsters, Gerbils, and Chinchillas

This bedding was ok not the best i wouldnt buy it again. It didnt have any type of oder protection in it and it created so much dust. There was built up dust around the cage everytime I cleaned it and I would have to clean the cage every 3 days because the smell was so bad. I have a 3 month old rabbit and ive used other products from pet stores that work better.

We used to purchase another brand before we found Kaytee and were absolutely happy. This product helps eliminate order and is so absorbent compared to the other product. Its soft and our little gingersnap couldnt be more comfortable.

Our indoor pet chickens needed softer bedding and the reviews on this were so wonderful we wanted to give it a try for our handicapped rooster. He seemed to love the softness of it, and it absorbs like crazy! BUT it would get ruffled up and go into his beak cavities and we would have to pull out little crumbs with tweezers so he would be able to breathe properly. we immediately took him out of it and sent it back but if you have a small furry friend like a rabbit or hamster this seems to be the best stuff!

I have used this same bedding for over 6 years for our rabbit without issues but the last bags I bought both came in a clear package with black letters (not the usual color package). Both had hard pieces stuck to the paper shreds - that felt like bits of dried glue or ? The paper wasnt soft and it scratched your fingers picking it up from the plastic bits. I just wonder if this was really the Kaytee brand? It was shipped from and sold by Amazon as far as I can tell from the order details. I bought another bag of the bedding from a online pet store and it is fine. My bunny sometimes eats a bite of litter so I cant have glue/plastic pieces in it. I have zero problems with dust but I press it down in her litter pan so she isnt usually walking or digging in it like smaller animals might. If you get a clear bag with black writing as opposed to the usual bag with color pictures Id be especially suspect of it.

I really like the white Kaytee clean and cozy bedding for my Guinea pigs and they are trained to use it. I ordered white but received brown which, for some reason, is coarser; almost like a shredded paper lunch bag. Also, it’s harder to spot clean because…well…poop is also brown. I needed the bedding immediately so I am keeping the brown stuff, but the piggies and I are less thrilled with it. We’ll stick with the white bedding (which makes us very happy).

I always use this type of beding since it has less dust happening which is great for myself but also great for my lil chubby old lady hamster. Absorbs her pee. But also starts to smell over time. I cant tell since Im use to it, but my mom says it smells bad. Tge beding sometimes comes out either soft or a tad bit rough during the seasons. So you never know what batch you get until you open it. And it is worth the price, since you get 3 times more of the product. Due to the fact that it expands.

Great value but no scent wish it was scented

It foes the trick, just wondered if it there is an easier way to clean it or have a stronger pleasant smell.
