Hard to beat Kester solder! Been using it for many, many years now with no problems. This order was shipped quickly and arrived just fine.

Amazing quality general purpose solder. I mainly use it for through hole, but its great for SMD also. Has a good flux core, but obviously a little extra flux is always a good idea. My dad used this brand for years, and after trying a lot of different brands myself, Ive also settled on Kester for my solder. I recommend it to all solder junkies, new and old.

This is reallly really good. I made the mistake of picking up some generic cheap 63/37 Chinese solder, thinking 63/37 is just two elements, its must be all the same. That was wrong, it just simply liquefy like good solder should. This solder does. Its the good stuff, and you get sooo much that its actually cheaper than the cheap stuff.

New millennium, same solder and it is still great stuff.

Was dubious of the 63/37 alloy (having grown up on 60/40) and the thin wire until using it. Flowed well and the thin wire required less heat. This is my new go to.

I really like Kester 44 solder. Have it in several different sizes and use it for general soldering as well as electronics work. Has always performed well.

Great solder. I would say this is the perfect versatile size for general purpose electronics whether through hole or the larger sized surface mount components.
