> 3 daySuper easy to install! I just cut up the material a bit and applied it with one of the cheap sound deadener rollers that are on Amazon. The noise level went down significantly with only about 30 percent coverage on some of the van panels. Previously, the sound had been so bad, that my husband and I could not hear each other talk even when we were yelling, and I felt like my dental fillings might fall out from the vibrations. After applying the sound deadener, I took a day trip a few states away, and I actually forgot to listen and check on the noise level, because the noise level had reduced so much. I recently replaced a door on my van, and because that door doesnt have sound deadener, you can now hear a lot of rattling but only from that door. Have to get the roller and sound deadener out again.

> 3 dayWorked pretty well for quieting my car down. It’s easy to cut to size and to apply, and I didn’t notice any smell. Id say I went for about 60% coverage and ended up using about 1.5 of the 3 boxes I ordered.

> 3 dayI applied this to the inside of the thin sheet metal on the top and side panels on my Samsung front-load washer and dryer in an effort to quiet them down and eliminate rattling and vibration. It worked amazingly well! Just wish I took pictures while I had it all apart. Also applied it to the bottom and sides of my custom made 14ga stainless steel bathtub of a kitchen sink. It worked fantastic there too. Great stuff!

Price is good, really good, but….
Greater than one weekI mean you get what your paying for. My car already has almost 36 cubic feet of Ballistic deadener. That’s my last piece , and I want to say that one weighs about the same as 5 sheets of the Kilmat. As you can see the kilmat will take up more space. That might good for some, but I’m pushing my Jetta hard for SPL and I been getting some very annoying rattles still. So there’s a few spots I missed with the Ballistic, but I wasn’t trying to spend $200 on more of that so I got this kilmat. I’m sure it’ll get me there right. However I’m 99 percent sure if I originally got kilmat I’d be very unsatisfied . I didn’t want to wait on shipping or pay too much. There’s only the roof and a few odds and ends left to do so I’ll just double it. If your just trying to remove trunk rattle for a 500 to 1200 watts setup this might be ok for some. Maybe the doors . But if your like me, there’s going to be much more you’ll need to do, this aint gonna work

> 3 dayI just applied this to my 3rd Gen 2018 Toyota Tundra Crewmax, which has a big cab you should know and it sounds better and I can see some noise cancelling coming from this. I used 2 packages total and for my all my door interior panels, back seating and back panels and I need to order another set. There was a smell that lingers for a couple of days but it literally disappears after that! Every review made it seem like it was unbearable but truth is that once you get it applied just apply some air freshening deodorizer and itll go away within a few days. It sounds fuller and quieter. Everything on any new car, except a rolls royce I guess, gets a ton of exterior noise level! The adhesion is good as long as you got a reliable roller too by the way. I have yet to do my firewall, driver side and transmission/center console hump so thats next. If Im doing the headliner, Im going to consider doing a insulator and sound Deadened for that instead of the kilmat. And a note for anyone with open and spacious big cab or interior, please consider ordering more than just what they recommend on their sizing. I followed that suggestion and I really recommend ordering a couple more than expected. For Tundras probably a good 4 packages if you are doing all everything. And if youre on a budget so far this is the best way to do it.

> 3 dayI installed this throughout my Montero Sport, mostly in the rear cargo area to quiet the many rattles that come from 200k+ miles of driving around Montana/PNW. I pulled off the interior trim panels and placed a layer on the inside of the exterior sheet metal fender panels, then a layer on the inner sheet metal panel that frames out the cargo area and the trim panels clip in to. I got about 70-75% coverage, mostly because I was being a little lazy and a bit rushed, but I also didnt want to interfere with any holes that were used for trim clips. Or run out of the 65sq/ft before ordering more. I feel like the 80mil material is heavy/dense enough that 100% coverage wouldnt really be necessary. I did do both front doors so far, along with most of the rear and there is definitely a difference. A lot of the rattles are completely gone, while the bigger, louder noises that came from offroad driving are considerably quietier. The loud banging from rocks getting thrown into the wheel wells is much less noticeable. The doors close with a much more solid sounding thud with no rattles then before. I have decent Rockford speakers in my doors but nothing loud enough to notice any sound quality differences as far as stereos and such are concerned. This product will probably stick to anything, but I strongly suggest giving the surface a wipe down if its dusty. Its repositional as long as youve only got a few square inches stuck down, any more than that and good luck. Cuts pretty easily with a utility knife on a scrap of OSB or something. Definitely worth the money and time invested to not hear everything rattle on long off-road trips.

> 3 dayDecent for what it is…. Not as thick as 80mil I believe but it does the trick. If you do 2 to 3 layers you will be sold just 1 layer might not do it for a big audio build.
