These remain the cheapest option on here and Im sure satisfied. I now have these SSDs in my old Lenovo laptop, my buddys gaming PC, and my lan PC. Great cheap upgrade and theyre fast. Now admittedly these dont test as fast as other drives I have, but still going from mechanical to SSD these will be a big difference.

Good boot and essential programs hard drive. Not much use for anything else

First I Put this in an old 2005 PC (long story... Had to downgrade for a while) and with 3 gig of Ram and this the old duel core chip ran Ubuntu Mate linux ALMOST as fast as my regular 4 core machinr with a SPINNING hard drive.... Built a new PC for cheep with fx 6300 and 8 gig Ram and just plugged this SSD in and turned.it on and it was the faster computer I have ever owned.

I installed this in my Lenovo X240, and it has breathed some new life into my older laptop. It can boot up windows 10 in a matter of seconds, and linux even faster. I was surprised at how light weight it was when I received it.

Ive upgraded many pc from mechanical HDD to SSD. Going from HDD to SSD is night and day difference. This one done for another friend who just web browse mostly. Half the capacity from 500GB but when 90% HDD is empty after 8 years then he dont need it.

I used this drive to replace a mechanical drive that was dying. After setting it up, it was so fast at booting that you didnt even get the rotating dots on windows 10 boot. It was less than 3 seconds to login. Amazing speed!!!
