I bought the drive to try to speed up an old laptop that was almost unusable because it was so slow. After cloning the old hard drive, the difference is night and day, and my old laptop is very usable again. My only complaint with the drive is that it didnt come with any software to complete the cloning process (a fact which is started in the description). There are many programs for this that claim to be free, but most dont let you clone a drive without upgrading to a paid version. The program I eventually found was Macrium Reflect. It was a little less user friendly than some of the others I looked at, but it successfully cloned my old drive onto the new SSD, and it was actually free. The drive has only been installed for a day, so I cant yet speak to its reliability.

Figured the HDD in my 2nd gen i3 desktop is dying - took a long time to start (>4 min) and computer randomly restarts itself.

It’s easy to instill on your laptop, and the price is very nice strongly recommend to buy it.

Is great for the price. I use it for a cache drive for my Adobe product and a couple of VST plugins that were still a bit slow in opening from an SSD. They now open super fast and rendering is faster and smoother. Not only would I recommend this to other, I have another slot to fill in the near future and will very likely buy this same product line to do so! Just a model with more capacity.
