Kingston 480GB A400 SATA 3 2.5 Internal SSD SA400S37/480G - HDD Replacement for Increase Performance

This worked perfectly on a dual 2.7GHz PowerMac G5 running OS 10.5. After connecting it inside the drivebay (I didnt even bother with a 2.5->3.5inch adapter), closing everything up and booting I was able to see the disk in Disk Utility and format it. The thing took SECONDS to format (partition) and was then fully usable. Zero issues using it as a Pro Tools recording drive, its as if the whole session was in RAM.

My 120 GB SSD from the same company was practically full. It was great to find an exact replacement with twice the storage capacity.

Strongly recommend this if youre in need of an SSD that wont break down on you anytime soon.

10/10 would buy again was super easy to install although it didnt come with a screw my motherboard had one leftover on it. Hard drive works perfect and makes my computer run super smooth.

Ive used Kingston SSDs for years and have only had to replace them once I needed more space. I cannot recall a single failure in more than 50 that Ive used. Very dependable.
