I bought this to put in an older laptop and the difference is massive

So I was contemplating whether to buy a brand new MacBook Pro or upgrade my 2012 MacBook Pro.., i decided to take the second option. I never upgraded any laptop before this so I was skeptical whether I will be able to do it. But thinking if it won’t work and I end up effing up my laptop, it would not be that bad since I can always buy a newer version anyhow. Well thank God I upgraded my old MacBook.

This is worth EVERY. SINGLE. DOLLAR. My life has improved exponentially with the purchase of this drive. Load screens? What load screens? My PC went from “I should find a movie to watch while it boots up” to “It took me a whole 30 seconds to go from startup to logged in to WoW.” Now I need one for my work machine because the instant gratification of this drive makes using my work PC feel like I’m being punished for something.

It works just fine, unlike my ADATA SSD that died eight months after purchase.

Its a Kingston SSD. what could go wrong? Made my laptop boots and feels snappier.
