While Windows XP is long past being supported (or even usable), these netbooks make great Linux machines (Im using several Ubuntu variants at this point; 18.04 is the last 32-bit OS which is what these netbooks need).

Greater than one weekI purchased these to speed up two OptiPlex 7040 desktops that were slow-slow-slow running SATA HDDs. I replace those spindle drives with these to run those Dells as SOHO domain controllers, and now they run fast-fast-fast. They may not be the absolute fastest available when it comes to Read-Write but for my purpose they are more than adequate.
