GFI was not working,wired needed to be reattached this let me know I wired correctly.

I like the fact that the ground prong is rounded.

Great product. Just one suggestion. If you need both receptacle tester and non contact voltage tester buy the set instead of buying them separately. Its cheaper in Home Depot than Amazon

Does the job fast and easy for those to lazy to grab a multimeter and then have to look up what values and settings for each and every application

I used to have a neighbor who was an electrician and he advised me to get one of these from the local RADIO SHACK (this was obviously long ago before they went out of business).

I use this in the camper to check power at the pole or an outlet. The color helps keep it from getting too far away. I have no issues with the tester.

This is a simple device for a simple purpose, and it performs beautifully. I plan to mainly use this device to ensure that an outlet is dead after the breaker is turned off, but at this price the additional functionality is a bonus. I bought two, and they both work correctly. I didnt try to test everything, but I purposely mis-wired an outlet by swapping neutral and hot, and the problem was correctly identified. Id buy again.

The gfci & receptacle tester analyzes the power and gives you a visual result.
