KPL Vintage 15 Inch Laptop Messenger Bag briefcase Satchel laptop bag for Men and Women

I was impressed with this bag as soon as I unwrapped it. I tried an 18 bag, and then a 13 version. The former looked like a suitcase, and the latter looked like a purse. I returned both and got this 15 bag. Though all were different brands, they all had the same style of construction, leather color, liner material, and hardware. It would seem they all come from the same manufacturer, but this 15 bag is superior to the others in several ways. This one has quick-release buckles, a little bit of padding inside, the stitching is straighter and more uniform, and the leather (especially the shoulder strap and pad) seems a bit thicker. So far, I am very happy with it.

This is a great bag in both looks and durability. I have the larger bag as well and continue to get compliments on both. They age beautifully! Would highly recommend to anyone - and have!!

The bag was not wrapped once but TWICE! 1st a clear plastic wrap then a thin cotton bag that I will keep for storage. Upon opening the bag I did notice a smell but not over powering like some of the previous reviews stated but lets face it, its a LEATHER bag. I never heard of someone saying a leather store stunk just because.. I was very impressed with the stitching right off the bat and I mean throughout the entire bag inside and out. For anyone who is looking at the other 30+ bags on Amazon save yourself the time and purchase a Komal Passion Leather bag for quality per price. I am very impressed with the bag as a whole. The bag did come with a detachable/adjustable strap for around the shoulders which is again... amazing craftsmanship. I want to thank the Passion Leather team and hat off to you Komal Chaudhari. I dont ever review, but I did a lot of reading before buying this bag. First impressions - fantastic quality, smell is not enough to even get my attention (my dog was excited about the package so it is leather), perfect size for my 13 macbook, enough storage to make me happy - Im a teacher so Im thinking files of papers, a few small books. I will return if issues develop to update, but for the moment - Im excited!

I bought this leather satchel based on the reviews I read of other customers who were impressed with Komals Passion Leather products. This fine product lived up to the reviews, and I am not disappointed. The satchel arrived much earlier than expected in careful packaging, wrapped in an ornamented bag to add a nice finishing touch, conveying the quality with which Komal has clearly invested in his products. The leather itself and brass furnishings are of a quality I wouldnt have expected for this price. The strap included comes in two parts for greater adjustability, and its attachment points are fastened with double-stitched anchoring. All pockets and compartments are tight with clean lines, and the interior lining is of a thick canvas-like material similar to what I remember from my days in the Army, which always meant maximum durability. Zippers and buttons are well-made - and the double-strap closure is both belted and button-fastened for ease of use and style, which I enjoyed very much - and they all arrived wrapped with padding so as to avoid any damage in shipment. I am impressed, and eager to make good use of my new satchel, whose leather label inside that reads Komals Passion Leather I will be proud to display - Komal has certainly lived up to his name for me!

I read the reviews but was still skeptical. For the price, this bag is very nice. It has that old world feel or even like an old set of cowboy saddlebags. Is it the quality of a custom high-end bag? Nope, but it does not have the price tag either. Overall the quality looks good but time will tell. I just got it in today so I will report back if I have any issues. I would recommend putting on some quality leather conditioner like Lexol, Bick 4, etc. Yes, it does have a smell like others have said but it is just the dyes used in the finishing process of the leather which should fade over time.

My initiation reaction to seeing this bag was quite literally Thats f***ing beautiful. It came in a what looks like a vintage laundry bag, taking a second to unwrap. After taking it out of the cover, I noticed the accuracy of the other reviews, stating that the leather is damp with the oils that were used to tan it, and itll need at least a few days to dry and then be broken in. After unlatching the buckles (I love that theyre actual functioning buckles, and not fake buckles like those on a K. Cole Reaction bag). It came with a letter printed on cloth from the producer on one side and on the back side it came with instructions on how to take care of the leather (Thats a rarity within itself these days.) The bag met up to my expectations. As both a student and a tutor, I carry more than the average student. My 14 laptop fits perfectly (I got the 15 bag for extra room though). I was worried about not having enough pockets, since no other reviews have pictures of the inside, but the bag came with 4 pen/pencils holders and two medium pockets on the inside and a medium pocket on the outside (and obviously the three zipper pockets - one inside and two outside, and two dividers on the inside) - enough to carry all my books, pens, markers, mouse and thumb drives and whatever the hell I need to carry to campus for the day. I knew instantly by looking at the craftsmanship that the bag was well design and built, using quality goat leather, strong rivets, buckles and hooks. The only thing that slightly confused me was the shoulder attachment. The strap came in two separate pieces that latch onto the hooks on the side of the bag, then attach to each other via a buckle in the middle. It took me a minute to figure out that the shoulder pad itself was attached to the opposite side and needed to be passed over the buckles to put into working position. It was user error on my side not thinking about how it worked. I love this bag & im happy I didnt end up buying a Samsonite or K. Cole Reaction. This has a lot more craftsmanship, personality and style. I would buy it again in my next life. 5/5.

This laptop bag, is awesome. From the moment your package is opened, you can smell the wonderful aroma of tanned leather. The bag came inside of a nice cinch sack made of a polyester material with a “Komal passion leather” patch sewn onto it. The bag itself was wonderfully and meticulously packaged to ensure that no damage would come to the leather or fastenings themselves. The craftsmanship of this bag speaks for itself. It has sturdy, double stitching and you can feel the durability in the build of the bag itself. I would highly recommend this bag to anyone who wants a leather laptop bag. The price is right and the craftsmanship of the bag speaks for itself. 10/10 would recommend.

This bag is as attractive in person as you think it is in the photo. Very well made, they did not cheap out on anything. All clasps are secure and the stitching is superb. Can we talk about the leather smell?! It did soften with use but Im still waiting for the years of natural worn out Indian Jones look to happen. I get compliments everywhere I go with it. It does fit my laptop with plenty of room for extra files and books. I feel the sides are very well protected but I did add a bit of foam in the bottom just for my piece of mind since it is thinner and I dump my stuff everywhere. I am super happy and will defiantly use this company again! Full five stars.
