KPL Vintage 15 Inch Laptop Messenger Bag briefcase Satchel laptop bag for Men and Women

After A LOT of searching, I finally bought this bag, and I am beyond thrilled with it! The quality is absolutely amazing and it feels like it is going to last a very long time. First thing I did before using it was to completely cover every inch of it with waterproofing spray because I want to make sure that nice leather stays that way! The storage and the number of pockets is perfect. To name just a few things it fits comfortably...my laptop, charging cords, flashlight, knife, pistol and spare mag, power bank, vape mod and juice, and lots more with plenty of room to spare! Its extremely comfortable to carry, the strap is very strong and solid feeling, and the latches hidden behind the buckles are nice and convenient. And personally, I love the smell of the fresh leather. Its very evident that they take great pride in making these bags and the personally signed note is a great added touch too. If this bag ever wears out, I will definitely be buying another one, if not sooner, just to make sure I have a backup in case they ever stop making them.

This is a great bag in both looks and durability. I have the larger bag as well and continue to get compliments on both. They age beautifully! Would highly recommend to anyone - and have!!

After reading all the reviews for this bag I decide to get one well two my wife wanted one also. She said she has always wanted a bag like this. This bag has tons of room for pretty much anything you would need during school and work. I have two jobs and a field placement I am doing and this allows me to put everything I need for all three with room to spare. I like the note that came along with the bag that was personally signed not a stamp of a signature but actually signed (which you never get these days). The bags had a slight smell, but is going away already. I just unpacked the one bag and loaded it up with the things I need. I also liked the bag that it was wrapped in very nice. All the reviews are true about the quality and space this bag offers. Of I ever need another bag I am going here and I will tell people where I got this bag. You have to understand that I a cheap and this bag is well worth its price (which I hardly ever say, I think this is the first time I said anything is worth the cost, but this one is) If you are looking for a great sturdy light weight classy bag stop and buy this one. You will not be disappointed what so ever.

I cant wait to give this bag as a gift, it is just gorgeous. I cant believe how nice this bag is, I hope my boyfriend loves it as much as i do. The color is nice, but lighter than i thought & the leather will take some time to soften which its too be expected. Bag came with a nice note from the maker on care, i just hope my bf follows directions ;)

My friends started going on about Komals Passion leather, and I happened to be in the market for something a little more classy (at the risk of sounding bourgeois) to come in to job interviews with, so I bit and bought this laptop briefcase. More for its briefcase properties than anything else. The bag is in line with what most of the other reviews say: it comes lighter than pictured, but it darkens with use/weathering (Ive had my bag for a little over a week and its already noticeably darker than it was when it arrived). When it comes, it might be somewhat oily and have a distinct, somewhat pungent smell to it. Mine came with this double-sided letter from Komal with his signature explaining that it was vegetable oil and the fresh leather smell that will fade away with time. It doesnt actually smell all that bad.This is all from my personal experience, so Your Mileage May Vary, of course. One thing I did notice is that the cloth inner lining of the bag will also darken noticeably from the time you get it - it looks almost as if the cloth is wet with oil. It doesnt change the feel of the bag - I just a little more partial to the original sort of pale green the inner lining had initially. Nothing game changing or worth removing a star over. If there was anything I didnt like about this bag, it was all simple stuff, like the leather straps used to hold it closed needing maybe one more hole bored through them higher up so that the buckle will lay flat when the bag is rather empty, but you can fix that if you know how to bore holes properly through leather. I not only would recommend this bag at this price to anyone in the market for one, I also plan to buy from this merchant again - another laptop bag/briefcase big enough for my 17-inch laptop.

UPDATE: Just wanted to add to this, after having used the bag for a bit. Its still lovely and wonderful, still smells like leather (but not to any overwhelming degree -- more like, Oh yes, this really is leather!), still fairly stiff though becoming slightly more flexible as I use it more. Ive carried it almost daily since purchased and nothing has rubbed off on my clothes, nor has it caused any other issues. I mostly bought it because my old bag wouldnt fit my laptop when I needed to carry it. This one fits my 13 laptop nicely in a padded sleeve, with room still to put things in the main compartment. I dont think the color has changed too significantly, but it still looks great. I get compliments on it all the time! ------ I understand that the making of these bags is not an automated process and, I imagine, different purchasers have different experiences, but I cant imagine what others are describing when discussing an overwhelmingly bad odor with these bags. When I opened my bag, my first thought was that it smelled like a new couch (I dont have much leather in my life). Aside from that, the bag is beautiful and solid. I only just got it yesterday and understand that itll soften some with time and use, so the straps that fit into clasps are pretty stiff at the moment, but I imagine after I work them a bit theyll be great. The bag doesnt feel especially oily or anything...again, I dont have much leather in my life, so I dont have much knowledge of what new leather is like, but I know that it is treated prior to sale. I used it while wearing a white skirt today and had no sort of rub-off or residue on my skirt, for whatever thats worth. Sorry Komal, I apparently dont have the language to describe a good leather experience! However, Komals customer service is excellent. I actually bought several bags before this one -- first the 18 inch, which wound up being pretty big/bulky for my 52 female form, and then a 14 inch bag which unfortunately wouldnt fit my laptop because it tapered at the top (which is such a shame, because it was a gorgeous bag!). I spoke with him about the returns and he assured me that theyd be happy to accept them and continue working with me as I found the right bag for me. The 15 bag isnt overwhelming for my size and fits my laptop perfectly, which is typically the largest thing I carry around. It would also fit a binder and/or several books, I believe. The inside is covered with a nice green fabric and has a good number of pockets for those of you who are actually organized. Great purchase, excited to see how it ages!

The bag arrived in a beautiful cover bag, blemish free and smelled wonderfully like new leather. It took a minute to put the straps on as they were meticulously covered to prevent any damage during transit. The leather was stiff as new leather should be and has loosened somewhat as I’ve carried it. The shoulder strap has a nice, strong metal clasp and the strap is adjustable and easily fits my 6’3” frame. The inside and pockets are spacious and deep. It will accommodate my iPad, a notebook; papers, and a snack easily. I’ve had. More expensive leather bags but they had nothing on the craftsmanship and quality of this bag. I look forward to continuing to use it and seeing the leather truly break in. The note from the owner promising top notch customer service should I need it was reassuring and appreciated. I highly recommend this bag for your every day needs!

Bag easily feels like it should be worth two or three times what I paid. Very well constructed and feels very durable. Holds all things I need for class. Holds my 15-in laptop, charger and a few books. Love this so far!

After reading the reviews, I decided to purchase this bag and am I glad I did! The bag itself is not heavy, but is well-crafted and feels very sturdy. It holds my laptop, pens, pencils, student papers, texts, cellphone, glasses, wallet - everything I need. The leather is beautiful and will only get better with age. The price is more than reasonable. Packaging was wonderful - others have mentioned the lovely note from the maker and the pretty cloth bag that the messenger comes in. But care is taken with everything - the metal buckles are carefully wrapped so that they dont scratch the leather. Fine quality. I love this bag!!!

This is the best messenger/laptop bag you will find today. It is real leather and handmade with hand stitching. It has real buckles on the straps not cheap magnets like most others use and sturdy zippers. I actually sent my 15 inch bag back because I needed a little more room and ordered their 16 inch bag. Its worth every penny.
