Absolutely wonderful bag at a great price! The bag came carefully wrapped and shipped. The bag is wrapped in plastic (to keep the leather moist?), and then wrapped in a cloth drawstring bag. It comes with a note, signed by the maker, with care instructions on the back. The leather is not stiff, but not soft - yet. From the good quality of the leather, I expect it to soften and deepen in color as it seasons. The color is a good, new cowboy brown. It is supposed to darken with use and time. The buckles are solid and good quality. They came individually wrapped and covered to protect them and the leather during shipping. The zippers seem to be a good quality metal, not cast or plastic. Mine is the 15-inch messenger bag. It is beautiful. I love the small pocket up front, and the zipper compartment in the back as well. The interior is divided into three compartments, and covered with an army green canvas. The middle interior compartment is padded, and has two smaller pockets at the back of it. A third interior compartment is zippered. So, that’s one small, belt-latched compartment in the front; one zippered compartment on the front; three interior areas: a plain one in the front; the middle one padded with two pockets (and some leather pencil/pen holders!); and the third interior compartment being zippered. Then there’s a zippered pocket on the back as well. All the hardware seems to be of good quality, and looks great. Buckles are double riveted. The leather is stiff enough to stand on its own, increasing the ease of use at a desk. The shoulder strap is a two-piece, well made leather strap with a pad. It is strong, but flexible, so it doesn’t bite the shoulders. This is not a swanky, polished, high-fallutin’ attache. It is a “everyday people”, proletariat, great quality, leather messenger bag. Get it.

So I was looking for bag for my Christmas present to myself. Looked at many much more expensive and happened on these on Amazon. The bag received looked just like the pictures. Maybe nicer. First a couple of things. Yes the strap hooks on the main flap have quick release catches and yes the shoulder strap is removable. The bag has an exterior zippered pocket in the front under the flap, It has an interior zippered pocket on the back and a zippered pocket on the rear exterior. It has three interior dividers with the center section padded to protect a lap top or what ever is placed there. My Mac Book Pro fits nicely in the center section. The bag is shipped with a dust cover (similar to a ladies high end purse) and is very well packaged. The protection of the hardware is somewhat difficult to remove and car must be taken to protect the hardware during removal. Overall I would say it is an extremely nice bag and and excellent value. I am waiting for it to patina with age.

I absolutely love everything about this satchel!!! It’s is everything I had hoped for and more. It holds all my essentials for law school: 13 inch MacBook Pro with protective cover, a 1 inch binder, a single subject spiral notebook, power cords, and a pencil holder. And there is still some room for other small items, such as a cellphone and/or small wallet, if that is something you’d like to carry in it. The quality of the material and craftsmanship are exceptional and the genuine leather smell is very pleasing. The adjustable shoulder strap is great for both tall and shorter individuals. It feels comfortable whether placed on one shoulder or worn crossbody. The attention to detail, care and protection in shipping, and the maker’s personal touch given to this product is excellent. I look forward to enjoying this satchel for a long time and will order from this company again. Thank you for a job well done!!!

I purchased this laptop messenger bag in 2017 and here towards the end of 2022, its still holding up splendidly! I use this every day as my work carry bag. Thanks for creating a product of great craftsmanship (and it looks great too!).

I bought this leather satchel based on the reviews I read of other customers who were impressed with Komals Passion Leather products. This fine product lived up to the reviews, and I am not disappointed. The satchel arrived much earlier than expected in careful packaging, wrapped in an ornamented bag to add a nice finishing touch, conveying the quality with which Komal has clearly invested in his products. The leather itself and brass furnishings are of a quality I wouldnt have expected for this price. The strap included comes in two parts for greater adjustability, and its attachment points are fastened with double-stitched anchoring. All pockets and compartments are tight with clean lines, and the interior lining is of a thick canvas-like material similar to what I remember from my days in the Army, which always meant maximum durability. Zippers and buttons are well-made - and the double-strap closure is both belted and button-fastened for ease of use and style, which I enjoyed very much - and they all arrived wrapped with padding so as to avoid any damage in shipment. I am impressed, and eager to make good use of my new satchel, whose leather label inside that reads Komals Passion Leather I will be proud to display - Komal has certainly lived up to his name for me!

This bag came with a slip of paper in it that told the story of how it was made. I was fascinated with how it came to be made and sewn by hand! It’s really great to know where things you buy come from. And this bag was just perfect for my computer’s size and also for protecting it. I love the mountains and the minute I saw this bag, I knew it was everything I was looking for for my computer. I used it to take my computer to Gatlinburg, Tennessee and I received so many compliments. It was nice to know my computer was safely tucked away where it was fully protected. I have a 15” computer and this fits perfectly. It also comes with a detachable strap that is really convenient to throw over your shoulder. The best part (or at least one of the best parts) is having so many pockets! There’s a bunch of space to put things and I am in constant need to have so many different things when I’m out and about. The other cool thing is how much the patina of the leather has changed. It was beautiful when it came and now that I’ve used it a few months, it is stunning! The colors have just gotten more aged and polished. It is a wonderful bag. Nice and stiff but flexible and protective all at once!!! Thank you for such a wonderful product! Keep up the good work!

Ive had this bag a few weeks and it is already easily superior to my previous messenger bag which I carried for almost a decade. Naturally prepared genuine leather is getting harder to find but this is the real deal. The bag is obviously made with high attention to detail. I wondered if having to undo the clasps to open it would bother me but there is a hidden quick release underneath. BRILLIANT! Thank you Kamal for making such an affordable and quality product.

I bought this bag when I switched from a 13 to a 15 MacBook Pro because my other man bag would not hold it. Some people said their 15 MacBook Pro was tight but that was not the case for me. As you can see in the picture I was not only able to fit my MacBook Pro in there but my large study Bible as well as a changing table for my baby. There were also some other odds and ends like the charger and an adapter that I placed in the front pocket. I wanted to post this review to show you what it looked like with the computer because no one else had done that and I was concerned I would have to send it back. Nope. This is a great bag and I am happy with it. It is sturdy and beautiful. And at $60 (ish) that is a great deal since other bags like this are over $200.

After reading all the reviews for this bag I decide to get one well two my wife wanted one also. She said she has always wanted a bag like this. This bag has tons of room for pretty much anything you would need during school and work. I have two jobs and a field placement I am doing and this allows me to put everything I need for all three with room to spare. I like the note that came along with the bag that was personally signed not a stamp of a signature but actually signed (which you never get these days). The bags had a slight smell, but is going away already. I just unpacked the one bag and loaded it up with the things I need. I also liked the bag that it was wrapped in very nice. All the reviews are true about the quality and space this bag offers. Of I ever need another bag I am going here and I will tell people where I got this bag. You have to understand that I a cheap and this bag is well worth its price (which I hardly ever say, I think this is the first time I said anything is worth the cost, but this one is) If you are looking for a great sturdy light weight classy bag stop and buy this one. You will not be disappointed what so ever.
