This 15 inch brief case is the perfect size for my 13 inch laptop. I wanted something smaller, being 5’4”, and the 15 inch is a nice small size. If you have a larger computer, I would order the 16 or 18 inch size. It is great to have more than one option for sizes. I received a purse from Komal last week, and loved it so much, I couldn’t wait to get this brief case. Another well made product with exceptional care in packaging! Just absolutely LOVE this brief case. Great for a guy or gal! I have received compliments on both the purse and brief case, with questions to where I purchased it.

Very nice looking and well made bag. Fits my 13 wide laptop (Dell Latitude 7480) and gear very well. The bag has a large 3 x 14 center compartment (10.5 tall). On either side of the large compartment are pen/misc holders and thin compartments separated from the main compartment with padding. It also has three 11 wide, 9 deep zippered pockets plus the pouch pictured in front. The only negative is that there is no padding on the bottom to protect laptops. This was easily solved by shoving a thin 3x14 slice of foam padding at the bottom (I salvaged it from the bag this replaced). Like most of my leather goods, I applied a coat of Nikwax to waterproof the leather. The leather took to it nicely, making for an even richer patina and slightly more subtleness.

I ordered a bunch of very similar bags from Amazon to check them out firsthand. The ones I got were from Handmadecart, Gusti Leder, Rustic Town, and Komals Passion Leather. These bags are all so similar that I suspect they might all be made at the same facility and re-branded. Some have handles, some have rounded edges while some are more square, but the general design is really similar. So it all comes down to what you prefer. The stitching on most of them looks pretty good, and each bag is unique in its own way: leather grain, color, hardware etc. And yes, its goatskin and it does have a unique smell. Kind of gamey, kind of rancid, a little bit oily, a little vegetal. But even in the week that I had these bags before sending most of them back, the odor seemed to fade a little bit. Bottom line: If you like this style of bag you could probably do a lot worse or pay a lot more. I cant speak to how durable they are as I just kept one and havent started using it. But so far I am happy with the one I kept (the 15 Rustic Town Vintage Leather Laptop Bag).

The bag arrived in a beautiful cover bag, blemish free and smelled wonderfully like new leather. It took a minute to put the straps on as they were meticulously covered to prevent any damage during transit. The leather was stiff as new leather should be and has loosened somewhat as I’ve carried it. The shoulder strap has a nice, strong metal clasp and the strap is adjustable and easily fits my 6’3” frame. The inside and pockets are spacious and deep. It will accommodate my iPad, a notebook; papers, and a snack easily. I’ve had. More expensive leather bags but they had nothing on the craftsmanship and quality of this bag. I look forward to continuing to use it and seeing the leather truly break in. The note from the owner promising top notch customer service should I need it was reassuring and appreciated. I highly recommend this bag for your every day needs!

This is a great looking bag that is packaged with care. Great attention to detail by the seller. I can’t yet comment on its durability but it definitely looks like it will hold up well.

This bag is awesome and for the money its worth what Im about to say. The color of the bag is great, I like the canvas inside the bag (Im a male), it has snaps on the belt like fasteners for easy open and closing, and the zippers work smoothly with zero snagging. The packaging is a nice touch as it comes in a fancy bag with a nice note from the designer/manufacturer. The downside is that when it arrived it literally smelled like a petting zoo. To be honest, I oddly like the earthy outdoorsy smell of a petting zoo, but this is like bringing that smell into your home and its potent. I left it outside to air out for a few days. Little if any change in the smell. It started to rain so I put in the garage for a few days. It still smelled so I thought I have a fancy dryer that can dry sweaters without tumbling them around so I put the bag in the dryer on very low heat on the rack so it wouldnt tumble. Maybe it helped, maybe it didnt, not sure. Before writing a review I tried one more thing...I got a garbage bag, but the messenger bag in there, and sprinkled arm and hammer carpet cleaner all over the messenger bag. I left it in there for a few days and then vacuumed all the powder off the bag. That was the ticket! It worked, but now it had an overpowering smell of the carpet powder so I had to air it out again, but I think it was worth. The bag is awesome and similar bags can cost hundreds without having the handmade rustic look this one has. After all I wasnt looking for a bag a 16 year old kid would walk around with, I wanted a bag for the office that I could carry while wearing a suit, slacks, or jeans and would look great. This bag is perfect in all those situations. Dont give up on, spend the time to get that smell out and youll love it!

I decided that at 51 years old, I deserved to carry something a bit more dignified than a standard-issue fabric computer-branded bag for my daily items and carry-on bag. I couldnt be more pleased with the quality of this bag for the price I paid. Leather is supple and beautiful, contrasting lining makes items easy to find, and the spring-loaded buckles under the belt straps make quick retrieval of items in an airport easy. It also easily fits underneath the seat in an airplane while holding my laptop, reference manuals, wireless mouse, work phone I never use when I dont have to, and latest novel Im reading to drown out airport life. I suppose my only complaint is that the strap is a bit long (Im 61 and have it adjusted on the lowest setting) and the shoulder pad doesnt stay put, but this is nothing that cutting off the excess strap and a discrete stitch or concealed zip tie wont solve. Just get this. For the price you will be amazed.

I cant wait to give this bag as a gift, it is just gorgeous. I cant believe how nice this bag is, I hope my boyfriend loves it as much as i do. The color is nice, but lighter than i thought & the leather will take some time to soften which its too be expected. Bag came with a nice note from the maker on care, i just hope my bf follows directions ;)

This bag is as attractive in person as you think it is in the photo. Very well made, they did not cheap out on anything. All clasps are secure and the stitching is superb. Can we talk about the leather smell?! It did soften with use but Im still waiting for the years of natural worn out Indian Jones look to happen. I get compliments everywhere I go with it. It does fit my laptop with plenty of room for extra files and books. I feel the sides are very well protected but I did add a bit of foam in the bottom just for my piece of mind since it is thinner and I dump my stuff everywhere. I am super happy and will defiantly use this company again! Full five stars.
