> 3 dayIm satisfied with great quality and nice shape product. the size is good, not small not large. it is from real leather and enough space for my staff. its smell is because of real leather. I like this smell. it is a natural leather smell. and will be shade during the time. you can buy a nicer bag without smell but be sure that it will not be natural leather.

> 3 dayIve used this bag for 4 years, during which time its been thrown around, slept on, had drinks spilled into it, been chewed by dogs, been frozen, was left in the dash of a car during a heatwave, and caught me when I slipped off a walking trail. Not only is it still truckin, but now I feel like a grizzled cowboy with the same hat hes been wearing for thirty years.

> 3 dayIm impressed with the quality, the look of the leather part but not satisfied with a few other things. 1) very hard to stand the smell from the leather. 2) knuckles stick out and it may hurt someone. 3) shoulder strap are two pieces hooked together and shoulder pad is too short. I would like to pay $20 more if they can make the strap as one piece and make higher quality knuckles.

> 3 dayI decided that at 51 years old, I deserved to carry something a bit more dignified than a standard-issue fabric computer-branded bag for my daily items and carry-on bag. I couldnt be more pleased with the quality of this bag for the price I paid. Leather is supple and beautiful, contrasting lining makes items easy to find, and the spring-loaded buckles under the belt straps make quick retrieval of items in an airport easy. It also easily fits underneath the seat in an airplane while holding my laptop, reference manuals, wireless mouse, work phone I never use when I dont have to, and latest novel Im reading to drown out airport life. I suppose my only complaint is that the strap is a bit long (Im 61 and have it adjusted on the lowest setting) and the shoulder pad doesnt stay put, but this is nothing that cutting off the excess strap and a discrete stitch or concealed zip tie wont solve. Just get this. For the price you will be amazed.

Greater than one weekThe craftsmanship is really impressive. Im greatly pleased by the bag I bought. I had looked for a bag for quite sometime and was reluctant to spend more without being able to touch the bag. I bought this because of it had a lower price point and I thought it would be close. It far exceeded my expectations. The price is well below what it could be! Dont miss out!

> 3 dayThis bag came with a slip of paper in it that told the story of how it was made. I was fascinated with how it came to be made and sewn by hand! It’s really great to know where things you buy come from. And this bag was just perfect for my computer’s size and also for protecting it. I love the mountains and the minute I saw this bag, I knew it was everything I was looking for for my computer. I used it to take my computer to Gatlinburg, Tennessee and I received so many compliments. It was nice to know my computer was safely tucked away where it was fully protected. I have a 15” computer and this fits perfectly. It also comes with a detachable strap that is really convenient to throw over your shoulder. The best part (or at least one of the best parts) is having so many pockets! There’s a bunch of space to put things and I am in constant need to have so many different things when I’m out and about. The other cool thing is how much the patina of the leather has changed. It was beautiful when it came and now that I’ve used it a few months, it is stunning! The colors have just gotten more aged and polished. It is a wonderful bag. Nice and stiff but flexible and protective all at once!!! Thank you for such a wonderful product! Keep up the good work!

> 3 dayVery happy with my purchase. Is it as nice as a $300-$500 bag? No. However, the quality greatly surpasses the $60 or so I paid for it. It’s a good looking bag and the leather is of more than decent quality. Also, there are plenty of compartments and it seems to be very well made. As for durability, I can’t say because i’ve only had it for 2 days, but it doesn’t appear to be a concern. In short, I wanted a nice vintage looking leather satchel for work at an affordable price and that’s what I got. p.s. communication from the seller seems to sincerely express their appreciation of my purchase

> 3 dayI read the reviews but was still skeptical. For the price, this bag is very nice. It has that old world feel or even like an old set of cowboy saddlebags. Is it the quality of a custom high-end bag? Nope, but it does not have the price tag either. Overall the quality looks good but time will tell. I just got it in today so I will report back if I have any issues. I would recommend putting on some quality leather conditioner like Lexol, Bick 4, etc. Yes, it does have a smell like others have said but it is just the dyes used in the finishing process of the leather which should fade over time.

> 3 dayI have carried this bag to and from work for at least the past month, maybe two. It has held up so far as one would hope for a leather bag. First off, this bag came very dry and stiff, although it did seem like some kind of vegetable oil had been applied to it at some point, maybe just too little of it. The initial color was a light brown, even close to tan. I heated up some coconut oil and spent an hour or two rubbing it into the leather. It soaked it up like a starving child in Africa, and softened significantly, so it seems to have badly needed it. My attached images reflect the darker color that resulted, which I actually prefer. It became more of a reddish brown. The darker stain on the flap is just the result of a recent greasy hamburger accident. I assume it will lighten up again like the rest in a week or two. For the price, it appears to be rather well made. The stitching isnt perfect, but it isnt unsightly, even close up. The leather is supple once oiled properly. The canvas interior seems nice enough to me and the pockets/pen holders all seem to be well thought out and implemented. It fits my 13.3 work laptop, in a neoprene sleeve, perfectly with room to spare. In a pinch I often even stuff 2-3 Chromebooks inside with it. For those who have the compulsion to use a mouse, I imagine the front pocket would fit even a large mouse with some finagling. I do, however, have a few small gripes: 1) The brass/plated wire bracket that holds the strap on the top of the bag sometimes seems to break free of the leather and needs to be reinserted into it (I have included a picture). Maybe this is still a good balance between solid construction and easy disassembly for cleaning/oiling, but it bothered me enough to bring sturdiness to 3 out of 5 stars. 2) The keepers for the strap are not tight enough and just slide off of wherever you try to place them without doubling up the tail (I included a picture of how I got around this). 3) The shoulder pad is also fairly loose and will slide around wherever it likes until you go to shoulder the bag again. 3) Once adjusted to the shortest length possible, the bag still sits a little bit lower than I would like as I like to carry messenger bags in the small of my back, out of the way. Im around 62 and it still dangles down around my hips so I imagine the design did not intend on this sort of carrying method. I may try to punch another hole or two in the strap to make it just a bit shorter. 4) The buckle lies very close to the shoulder pad and may even end up beneath it on longer settings. Overall, this bag is worth the money in my opinion. Good for something you want to look good and still be functional, but cheap enough that you wont mind destroying over time with use/abuse. The classic-looking buckles, which can be used either just like traditional buckles, or as quick detach button clip, are convenient when youre in a rush. I have a leather messenger bag I reserve for my home gaming laptop that I paid at least twice as much for. You can tell that it is better made, out of better materials, but the fancy velvet-like interior is likely not as durable as the heavy duty canvas in this bag, and it cost too much to make tossing it casually around reasonable (which I suppose is a benefit when the laptop I carry within it cost me $1,500). This is a great work/backup bag.

> 3 dayThe bag is beautiful. But it’s got two problems, one annoying the other fatal. 1. The annoying: the straps that latch the bag closed and the two sides of the shoulder straps are difficult thicknesses. One is thin and flexible and the other is thick and ridged. Minor quality control issue that I wish I would have noticed earlier but probably isn’t a deal breaker for most folks. I would have noticed it earlier had I not been focused on the second problem with the bag. 2. The fatal: The bag smells so bad. It smells like a wet animal. I’d read many of the reviews before I purchased the bag and was prepared for a smell but this is beyond a smell, it’s a stench. I figured a couple of days in the garage to air out and the odor would fade. It’s been almost a month and the bag still smells so bad that it’s unusable. I’ve left it in the garage to breath, I’ve cleaned it with a vinegar solution, I’ve sprinkled it with baking soda. I really wanted the bag to work out and convinced myself the smell wasn’t too bad. I took it to work and had to put the bag in an abandoned hallway because the smell of the bag in my office was giving me a headache. I should have returned it right after I opened it but mistakenly thought the smell would decrease, but it hasn’t yet. It’s in a plastic bag in the garage and will stay there for a while to see if the smell fades. If it wasn’t for the smell I’d give the bag a 4/5 (deduction for quality control issue discussed above) but because it’s unusable it can’t get anything higher than a 1/5.
