KPL Vintage 15 Inch Laptop Messenger Bag briefcase Satchel laptop bag for Men and Women

I do love this bag. But it smells. Have used it on a couple trips but am totally self-conscious that it has a strong odor when traveling. Bought it. It stunk. Put it on the back porch for a few days. It still stunk. Very cool retro styling and the price point was a steal. Ive had this bag for a few months now, want to use the heck out of it but... it still smells. I really want to give this 5 stars.

I dont ever review, but I did a lot of reading before buying this bag. First impressions - fantastic quality, smell is not enough to even get my attention (my dog was excited about the package so it is leather), perfect size for my 13 macbook, enough storage to make me happy - Im a teacher so Im thinking files of papers, a few small books. I will return if issues develop to update, but for the moment - Im excited!

This 15 inch brief case is the perfect size for my 13 inch laptop. I wanted something smaller, being 5’4”, and the 15 inch is a nice small size. If you have a larger computer, I would order the 16 or 18 inch size. It is great to have more than one option for sizes. I received a purse from Komal last week, and loved it so much, I couldn’t wait to get this brief case. Another well made product with exceptional care in packaging! Just absolutely LOVE this brief case. Great for a guy or gal! I have received compliments on both the purse and brief case, with questions to where I purchased it.

I had never seen an item being packaged as nicely, and meticulously as this one. It was very personalized, the note that was included was extremely helpful. As for the item itself, this product is amazing. The enclosed letter said it was all hand made, and it appeared as such. But it is not just an ordinary hand made product. It is so BEAUTIFULLY crafted, just like the hand made interior of a fine luxury car such as a Porsche or a Rolls Royce. The hardware looks sturdy and beautiful, and again, everything is so well put together. I love this briefcase. And I think it is worth a lot more than what they are asking for it. Five stars all the way.

I bought a Komals bag about 2 years ago https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00KQ6L5TI/ and was very impressed with the value. Its a GREAT bag. That bag is a bit larger than I need. Its almost a overnight or travel bag and so I started poking around at something more in the messenger size here in Amazon. But you know, buying online bags and researching all the options can seem like a chore, so I finally came back to Komal and pulled the trigger on this one (and for the price its hard to go wrong). This new bag came today and I am really really pleased. The strap is removable which in my opinion looks a little more professional in some settings. The size is perfect for what I was looking for. The new bag has snaps and it still retains it vintage look and feel. Its stiff enough that it stands up when placed on the ground and has a appealing texture. The leather is not greasy or too stiff either. I would caution folks to be thoughtful in the bag size they want. My 13 mac book air fits fine and I can throw in a notepad, a novel and some other things. But if you are thinking of 15+ laptop, Ipad, glasses, chargers, and your lunch, you might be too ambitious. It does not have a million external pockets like some bags; however, the trade off is a classy, minimalist look. Im very pleased. A great great value and perhaps Komal should start raising his prices :-)

Excellent, ordered another after seeing the quality of my first laptop messenger.

This laptop/messenger bag was on my granddaughters wish list for Christmas. After reading all the reviews and checking out other bags of this type I decided to order it. First, the packaging was wonderful. I carefully unpacked it to check it out. The leather looks and feels wonderful. I love the solid buckles and the stitching was perfect. It is really a great value for the price. I cant wait for Christmas to give it to my granddaughter, she is going to love it!

Fantastic item! I have a tendency to run my messenger bags hard. The quality of this bag looks like it will last me for a few years, and probably beyond. There’s a little bit of padding on the canvas separations inside the bag. That will be very nice for my electronics. The buckles on front have solid and durable clasps underneath so it is easy to open and close the bag. Really compact and organized storage. Beautiful leather.

UPDATE: Just wanted to add to this, after having used the bag for a bit. Its still lovely and wonderful, still smells like leather (but not to any overwhelming degree -- more like, Oh yes, this really is leather!), still fairly stiff though becoming slightly more flexible as I use it more. Ive carried it almost daily since purchased and nothing has rubbed off on my clothes, nor has it caused any other issues. I mostly bought it because my old bag wouldnt fit my laptop when I needed to carry it. This one fits my 13 laptop nicely in a padded sleeve, with room still to put things in the main compartment. I dont think the color has changed too significantly, but it still looks great. I get compliments on it all the time! ------ I understand that the making of these bags is not an automated process and, I imagine, different purchasers have different experiences, but I cant imagine what others are describing when discussing an overwhelmingly bad odor with these bags. When I opened my bag, my first thought was that it smelled like a new couch (I dont have much leather in my life). Aside from that, the bag is beautiful and solid. I only just got it yesterday and understand that itll soften some with time and use, so the straps that fit into clasps are pretty stiff at the moment, but I imagine after I work them a bit theyll be great. The bag doesnt feel especially oily or anything...again, I dont have much leather in my life, so I dont have much knowledge of what new leather is like, but I know that it is treated prior to sale. I used it while wearing a white skirt today and had no sort of rub-off or residue on my skirt, for whatever thats worth. Sorry Komal, I apparently dont have the language to describe a good leather experience! However, Komals customer service is excellent. I actually bought several bags before this one -- first the 18 inch, which wound up being pretty big/bulky for my 52 female form, and then a 14 inch bag which unfortunately wouldnt fit my laptop because it tapered at the top (which is such a shame, because it was a gorgeous bag!). I spoke with him about the returns and he assured me that theyd be happy to accept them and continue working with me as I found the right bag for me. The 15 bag isnt overwhelming for my size and fits my laptop perfectly, which is typically the largest thing I carry around. It would also fit a binder and/or several books, I believe. The inside is covered with a nice green fabric and has a good number of pockets for those of you who are actually organized. Great purchase, excited to see how it ages!

I love all about it. I labored over my decision of which bag to choose. I love the design and reviews were strong. It has a strap and handle and the fold over closure works nicely with the latches. One review complained about the strap buckle location being at the shoulder. I was able to counter this by placing the strap cover/pad over the buckle so it is not a problem even when heavily loaded. Pick this bag. I cannot see how you would be disappointed at twice the price. A real value.
