> 3 dayGreat value, especially that it has two USB-C ports. For capable devices, looks exactly like any other USB-C monitor. Nice package, good power adapter (although it powers itself via any USB-C adapter I have found), and great magnetic stand case. I didnt buy it for sound, so I didnt look at that when buying, and the sound is a bit reminiscent of tinny old laptop speakers from decades ago before laptop audio got good. Dont buy this if you need good sound out of your external monitor. Even then, you cant beat the overall value from what Ive seen, plus in my area, it was delivered same-day. I was worried for a minute when I looked online for a digital version of the manual. Even the domain name on the manual is dead. But the PDF of the manual is right here on the Amazon product page, so all good, and which is always a nice touch. I get why you might skip the hassle of your own website, but at least redirect the domain to your Amazon store is my suggestion.

> 3 dayPurchased this after a colleague pulled a similar one out at a work meeting and found it to be possibly an invaluable tool for collaboration. It looks nice, well packaged, sleek, but it really falls short in picture quality. I dont know what it is, but it doesnt seem to actually output correct resolution - it shows up in Windows as 1080P but it is certainly not displaying as 1080P. When you change the setting, it seems to want to try to be, but then reverts back to something worse than 720P - even being worse than the native 1366x768 on my built in laptop screen. Text looks fuzzy and my guess is that if I spent a significant amount of time looking at it - Id probably get a headache. For the amount of time Ill be using it - I might just make do - but it aint great.

> 3 dayI just needed something portable with good picture quality to do my design work away from home. Im not a gamer, but this works perfect for what I need. I had another portable monitor for a couple years and it gave me problems from day one, but so far this one is just up and running right away and working great.

> 3 dayI use this as a portable monitor for working while I travel. That being said the picture quality isnt insane and the screen isnt as bright and poppy as this image might suggest (knew this going into it as I had seen a colleague use this monitor in person, but gave this 4 stars since its a little misleading). Since I dont really use this for gaming/watching movies this still works perfect for what I need it for, is portable, comes with its own case/stand, looks good, and is a great price. I had some initial issues where I could use bluetooth headsets and the Portable Monitor at the same time. This is something I was able to tweak with my laptop settings in order to work with my set up, but since its first and foremost a second monitor I would not have expected it to not try to make decisions on audio outputs/inputs. Again, thats just a small issue thats easily fixable with some settings adjustments, but just something I wanted to point out.

> 3 dayGood monitor for the price, if I were to make a complaint it would be it doesnt have its own onboard battery, so youd have to power it with the included power brick and usb c cable. other than that its a good little mo nitro I use everyday for work since I got it.

> 3 dayThis portable monitor was very nice. However, I did not like the buttons on it and decided to go with the upgraded version instead which included a cover case and volume buttons on the side.

> 3 dayI am greatly impressed by KYYs commitment to customer service. My experience with the original monitors power-up issue occurred just after the 1 year warranty had expired, so I had not contacted KYY directly about a replacement. Upon seeing my review they reached out, and once it was clear that the monitor was having problems receiving power (NOT a cable issue), they offered to send me a new monitor! It came so quickly that I was not back yet from a vacation, so I was only able today to plug in the new monitor and it was a seamless plug and play. I love my HP Spectre laptop, but it is a more compact size, and when I work in my outside office in the summer I really need the extra screen real estate that the KYY monitor provides. Since the HP Spectre has thunder ports (Type C - full function ports) I am able to use that quickest and easiest method to both power and send signal to the KYY external monitor. I have attached pictures showing the KYY Type C full function port with connector (provided by KYY) and a picture of that cable plugged into my computer. As soon as the connection was complete the KYY logo came up and then immediately my main computer screen was mirrored. My final picture shows both simultaneously with the KYY Monitor as a second screen. Based on the customer service follow-up I would definitely recommend this monitor, and the company that makes it. ------------------------------------- First Review: This was my first (and perhaps only!) portable monitor Ive ever purchased and I was pleased by the plug-and-play set up and picture quality. After a few months however the HDMI connector into the monitor, which was a common USB socket, became loose and it was difficult to keep the connection. Any slight motion that moved the cord and the connection was lost. But later that year I bought a new computer with a thunder-port and this summer when I needed the external monitor I plugged it in that way and everything worked great! Unfortunately the next day when I plugged my computer in the exact same way the monitor was not showing the signal, and instead gave me a power saving error message before it shut down. After extensive troubleshooting and referencing the manual and user questions on Amazon I concluded that it was a power issue - the monitor was not getting power through the thunderport. I tried various methods, from using the separate power cable plugged into my computer, to plugging into an outlet directly. When nothing worked, I used the tech support email listed in the manual (and here on Amazon) [email protected], and send a description of my problem, asking for any assistance they could offer on a solution. Over two weeks later and I havent received any response. Not even a were busy and will get back to you later automatic email. So. Anybody want a nice looking doorstop in the original packaging? selling it cheap.

12-04-2025I just wanted to say THANK YOU. I travel frequently to my moms to do her taxes and property management and on cruises ships as part of retirement life. I purchased this monitor to make it easier to do paperwork. In fact, I was returning from a cruise and had my backpack hanging on a hook in the restroom stall when the person in the adjacent stall opened and closed her door causing the footing to become loose resulting in a sudden movement of my door in which the backpack containing my portable monitor fell to the floor. Although the backpack was made for computers it still resulted in cracking the screen of my monitor making it unusable on the trip :) When I returned, I contacted customer service to see if they can replace the monitor screen, but they went even further, offering to replace my entire monitor. That is what I call customer service. As a result, I ordered another monitor from them for my husband to also do his work more easily. 6 stars!
