I loved the experience of using Lactation Lab. I’m on an extremely restrictive diet due to baby allergies, so I was concerned about certain vitamin and nutrient levels in my breastmilk. Sending the sample was straightforward, and the results were both easy to interpret and extremely helpful. I feel a lot more confident that with a few dietary changes and some specific supplements suggested by Dr. Canale, my baby will get the most nourishing breastmilk possible from me, while I feel my best. This company is doing something really empowering.

So grateful for this kit. My baby was labeled as failure to thrive and I️ feel like it armed me with knowledge about my milk nutritional content. I really liked the personal recommendations for optimizing my nutrient intake. My providers all felt comfortable with the process and analysis. I am so happy that I purchased Lactation Labs kit. I was following a Vegan diet and my doctors were concerned my breast milk wouldnt have the protein and fat content necessary to feed my baby. After taking the test, I saw that my numbers in those categories exceeded average, and it gave me and my medical team peace of mind. I also saw that I was lower in B12 and Iron, which I am now supplementing into my diet. I would 100% recommend everyone test their breast milk to know how they can best support the health of their babies!

Very pleased with my purchase. My baby is slow to gain weight so it is great to know (and provide the physician) that your milk is perfect (logically I already knew this but love the scientific backing). I received my results and incredibly personalized recommendations by email just 2 days after the sample was received by the lab. I would 100% do this again!

I tested my breastmilk and as a new mom, it was so nice to know that my baby was getting enough calories/oz and that many of my levels were perfect. BUT - what was most helpful was knowing that I was low in iron & DHA. So now I know what to increase in my diet & get back to taking my DHA supplement that I took during pregnancy. My wife got the kit so she could find out more about her breastmilk quality and see what more she could do to help our baby get the nutrients he needs. The kit came with directions on how to send the sample and the lactation lab website was a great resource for more information. She pumped a few different times in the day for the sample and froze it. You put the frozen sample along with the ice pack in a pre-paid envelope. The results were emailed to her a week later. It was exciting reading the results and seeing what her milk is actually providing to our baby. The report goes over the different things tested and tells you what each item does to help your growing baby. We learned a lot about the different vitamins and nutrients and got recommendations on what to eat more of and vitamins to take to help improve the quality of her milk. It’s fascinating to see exactly what your giving to your baby to help them grow.

Im so glad I got my breastmilk analyzed through Lactation Lab! As a new mother, you worry about everything so it was interesting to see a full breakdown of my milk. Not only did I receive a full nutritional breakdown, I received a personalized email with the highlights and recommendations. I really appreciated the personal touch and added new vitamins into my daily routine. It was also so easy to receive and send back and I received the results in no time! I will likely be retesting once I add in more vitamins.
