> 24 hourIts a great fan. Big. Moves air great. Its our second one. I bought one a year ago and it has held up beautifully. I bought it half for how it works and half as a noise machine to drown out the noise of screaming kids next door. Its not loud, it just has the right sound to counter the pitch of the screaming. I am guessing it is an anomoly that the knob did not hold up. Its a tiny little piece of plastic that engages with the spindle that did not hold up. It spun a little when I first bought it. Had I known it was compromised I would have sent it back. Now I cant return it so I will have to figure out what to do about the knob because it wont catch.

> 24 hourForce of air is great but the turn dial; on, off, different settings, repeatedly comes off! Very frustrating.

> 24 hourThis fan is lightweight and easy to move around with the top handle. Yes, it will cool the room off which is what I wanted. If you are looking for background noise this is your fan. It easily rotates up and down using the side knobs. The on and off switch is cleverly hidden, unmarked in the back behind the blade hub. This fan however has an issue with shaking while in use. Placed on a level surface at lowest speed it is loud and the entire fan vibrates. On high it vibrates so much that you can hardly read wind machine. Sleep with it, not likely. Its hard to tell how durable it is. It does not appear well made. There are many unfinished sharp edges where the two colors of plastic come together. Update: I returned the above fan for free and was sent a new one within a week. The new fan does not vibrate when in use. It is a bit loud for my likes but it gets the job done even on low. It would make great white noise for those that want it. It definitely cools a room. On the new model received there were no sharp edges. scuffs or dirt as on the previous fan. I am pleased with how this was handled and the function of the fan overall. I would recommend this fan.

> 24 hourEffective in circulating/cooling. Lightweight yet strong. My third such fan over the past 10 years. Only drawback is that it’s difficult to clean the blades.

> 24 hourBeen using this brand of fan for years. All others were useless wastes of money. My only complaint is that the local drugstore sold these for about $20 a piece. Now its twice that. Hence only four stars. But theyre still worth it. You want wind? This is it. Most fans make noise but dont do much. I hate being hot. I know what works.

> 24 hourI bought this exact fan in 2018, it runs 24/7 at least 8 months a year (I live in the Deep South) and it still runs perfect. I paid a little under $38 for it then. I purchased another one recently to have one in the living area to help with the power bill this summer. I was moving it between the LR and bedroom before. Price has gone up about $30, but this is a really great fan. My old one is 5 years old and still runs like it’s new so I think it’s worth the price. I do keep the fan clear of the dust build up that occurs which is important if you want any fan to last.

> 24 hourThis is the 2nd fan I bought. Failed after a couple years, but the fan pretty much runs year round. Not as quite as I would like, but air volume is something Im happy with. I would buy this again.

> 24 hourThis is a great fan, and very powerful, especially for folks on a budget. Its a bit on the large side for indoor use in a small apartment, but I dont care because its also very powerful, even on the lowest setting. It is very light and easy to move around in spite of its size. It dropped the temperature in my bedroom by two full degrees without my touching the thermostat, in only a couple of hours. So it is very good for the electric bill. The design is great for people with children or (like me) pets. There is no way to knock this fan over with the way it is shaped and the fan blades are well enclosed away from little fingers and paws. I love that I can tilt it toward the ceiling to maximize airflow in the room, or down toward the floor for drying after a good mop. It does make a bit of noise, but its a soothing white sort of noise, and fine for leaving on all night while I sleep.I quite enjoy it, actually. I did not get any kind of discount in exchange for my review. Just really liked the product. If you find this review helpful, please click Yes before you go.
