So far this is a really good fan. I use it in front of my treadmill to cool me down when I run. I like that it isnt a pedestal fan and it sits on the ground, but it can be rotated up to aim directly at me instead of a traditional box fan which can only be facing forwards. It puts out a good amount of air and even on its lowest setting produces a good breeze. So why four-stars then? Two things. The location of the knob is not very convenient. It is located on the back of hte fan, so when you tilt the fan up, you actually have to reach underneath and behind the fan to get to it. Seems like they couldve put it near the handle or on the side and it wouldve been just fine. Second thing is cord length. Id read many of the reviews and questions and there was talk of cord length, and some said it was 5 feet, some said 6 feet, some said 8 feet, so there didnt seem to be a lot of agreement. I havent actually measured it, but Id guess it is closer to 5 feet, maybe even less... meaning that pretty much anyone will have to run an extension cord to use it no matter where they want it unless its right near an outlet. I get this is true of a lot of fans, but was really hoping to be able to plug it in without an extension cord.

I like this fan, especially the white noise when I fall asleep. But, it stopped working and only came with a 1 year warranty. I was surprised by how little of a warranty it has when Vornado has a 3 year warranty. This thing is well built but did not last long. Disappointed.

Lots of air you can feel. Dislike price, i think $35 would be a good price for this fan, $50 is too much.

Sleeping in a wind tunnel is the way to do it. I have dreams of being caught in a tornado.

Lasko, fans are dependable and move a great amount of air.

I love my Lasko fans and use them around the clock. Louisianas heat and humidity make airflow a must to survive. The white noise is great at night to muffle out the southern sounds of nature.

I love this fan!! It is very sturdy and strong. The floor fans in the stores are flimsy now but this one stays in place no matter which way you angle it.

Really nice and large fan with really high fan speeds. 3 speed, fully adjustable front to back. On low its fairly loud but not terrible, on high its quite loud but its also blowing serious wind on high. Its much larger than I expected which was a pleasant surprise. I use it primarily to cool off my motorcycles and at the track so the extra long cord with high power speeds will really come in handy. Cant speak to its durability yet, its made fully out of plastic but the build feels pretty solid. Arrives fully assembled and ready to go. Id recommend for work areas or large rooms for circulation, but for a personal fan next to your bed, this may be a bit much considering its size and strength. Nearly an industrial level of fan speed on high setting, comparing this to my floor blowers which I was using prior to this.

My fav. brand. Well made and sleek looking. Mainly use it as a noise neutralizer but also even on the lowest setting provides a soothing sustained breeze!
