Perfect for an 8 year boy to keep entertained for hours! This is a great model once completed

Among the TIE Fighters in the LEGO fleet, this version is exceptionally well engineered. This set is from the relatively smaller scale Resistance show/series, so I almost didn’t buy it, but I’m glad I did! There are several novel build features which aren’t found in the other TIE fighters - great upgrades to make this a little more fun to build. The wing attachment (Especially this) and the canon trigger are nice upgrades to the other TIE designs. Major Vonreg is an awesome character (although now somewhat diluted by the advent of the red Sith Troopers), and Bucket is a unique addition in the astromech droid line-up (rather than simple repaints of the R2 chassis). I bought this for my son to add to his collection, since the dramatic look really caught his attention, but after building it, I had to order another for my own display collection!

Every thing

I got this for my six year old Grandson. It was a little advanced for him, but he did some by himself and some with help from Granddad. Its a very intricate assembly, but very impressive when completed. He loves playing with it now that its assembled, too. Its great for a little Star Wars fan! Highly recommended! Great price!! Buy it here cheaper and save $14, actual LEGO store price is $70. LEGO VIP Points aren’t actually all that worth it. 100 points ($100) just to earn back $5.

Like most 5th graders, my 10 year old son loves both legos and star wars. He just cannot get enough of either subject. When I showed him this set, his eyes got big and basically said that he would see me in three years when this kit would finally be completed. While it took him only a few days to construct, I enjoyed watching him overcome his struggles during a misplaced piece or alignment along the way. I was shocked that it was as large as it was and he liked that the lid and the blasters moved.

I was unsure if this was genuine Lego, but I took a chance on the seller and its completely legit parts, sealed in box. My box had some damage to it, but I was pleased to see that I wasnt investing my money in a bad product. The build looks and feels great, I would definitely recommend if this is what youre looking for in a Lego set.
