08-06-2025I got this for my six year old Grandson. It was a little advanced for him, but he did some by himself and some with help from Granddad. Its a very intricate assembly, but very impressive when completed. He loves playing with it now that its assembled, too. Its great for a little Star Wars fan! Highly recommended! Review of: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B07JMXW5CC LEGO Star Wars Resistance Major Vonreg’s TIE Fighter 75240 Building Kit (496 Piece) Note: Its intended for kids eight and up. They will probably be able to assemble it by themselves at that age.

> 3 dayStraight from the new TV Series, Star Wars Resistance, overall this set is an excellent choice for any Lego lover. If you’re thinking about picking it up, here are some pros and cons I’ve noticed after buying this set myself. Pros: The ship does not break easily and is very swooshable. Many parts in this set are unique or hard to find. At the same time, the parts are generic looking enough to to allow kids to be able to create their own inventions without feeling limited. The two missile shooters work really well, and the set comes with a brick separator so kids (or college students like me) don’t have to bite pieces off if they accidentally stick them together. Also, all four figures are unique to this set. Major Vonreg’s red helmet in particular has been molded using two different colors (as opposed to molding it in red and painting it black, which can cause paint to chip off if played with too extensively.) Cons: Most of my gripes are minor. I have noticed that the placement of the firing mechanism makes it easy to sometimes accidentally misfire the missiles. Also, while three of the figures have double-sided heads, Major Vonreg’s head is is just a black headpiece with no face. Finally, as some of the other reviewers have noted, because the four wings are identical, the build can be a bit repetitive. I personally did not mind this as much, and I could see why others might feel the way they do. All in all, a terrific set on the whole.

> 3 dayFor the life of me, I cant remember this vehicle in any of the later Star Wars movies. Regardless, if you are a Legos fan, this is a great set. If you are a Star Wars fan, this is a great set. If you are both... this is a great set! New characters and an awesome flyer!

> 3 dayI havent seen this show but it looks like the TIE Interceptor toy we used to have in the 80s and played as and against in the TIE Fighter and X-Wing video games in the 90s. Only its red so theres that. Its not the easiest set but if you follow the directions its not too difficult.
