> 3 dayWe were missing a pair of 3x3 red flat bricks. It’s disappointing to not get all the parts from a company that’s usually pretty reliable as far as delivering all the pieces. I wouldn’t buy right now because it’s likely we got the same faulty batch.

Greater than one weekThis is a fun build, sturdy, looks sharp, and the phasers (or whatever) that it shoots actually fly pretty straight! (I can see why it has a safety/eye-injury warning! ) The instructions are cool in that you build it in sections, and the minifigs are spread out, so you build one minifig in 4 outta 5 sections... paces out the fun! :) I thought the Leia and Kaz minifigs seem like theyre gimmes for the set (they seem out of place for the scene) but who would turn down extraneous minifigs?? (Oh, it was weird that the Majors head under the helmet was a solid black piece with no face... You cant see thru the helmet anyway, but its the first time Ive seen that! ) I got this for about $55 so I thought it was a great deal!

> 3 dayLEGO has released a great many TIE fighter variants in the twenty years theyve been producing Star Wars sets. This may seem repetitive to the casual observer but the many nuances of TIE design in the films and shows provide ample source material for some varied and fun builds. Major Vonregs TIE Fighter stands out in the crowd with its bold red colors, design inspired by but not a copy of the loved TIE Interceptor which debuted in Return of the Jedi, and a not-large but key selection of minifigures. The red is the most outstanding visual element of this TIE. It looks exciting and jumps off the shelf or table once constructed. With any TIE there is a bit of repetition in building the wings but the notched design of these provides some interest when working through the panels, even the fourth time around. As with most current Star Wars models, the construction is rock solid and the TIE can stand up to heavy play. The wing connections are quite interesting and extremely sturdy once in place. Its great to get Kaz and Bucket as two hero leads from the show. Right now there are only two sets based on the Resistance animated show and the selection of heroes is thin, so these are welcome. Major Vonreg, while lacking a face under the helmet, has a nice design and fits the aesthetic well. The Leia design is inspired by her appearance in The Force Awakens and its always great to add a Leia minifig to your collection. Hope to see LEGO release more sets based on Resistance, especially ones from the hero vehicle selection. With Resistance about to start its final season we will see!

> 3 dayI got this for my six year old Grandson. It was a little advanced for him, but he did some by himself and some with help from Granddad. Its a very intricate assembly, but very impressive when completed. He loves playing with it now that its assembled, too. Its great for a little Star Wars fan! Highly recommended! Review of: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B07JMXW5CC LEGO Star Wars Resistance Major Vonreg’s TIE Fighter 75240 Building Kit (496 Piece) Note: Its intended for kids eight and up. They will probably be able to assemble it by themselves at that age.
