It is very easy to put together. But it looks neat after you get it together.

I havent seen this show but it looks like the TIE Interceptor toy we used to have in the 80s and played as and against in the TIE Fighter and X-Wing video games in the 90s. Only its red so theres that. Its not the easiest set but if you follow the directions its not too difficult.

14 year old son built in less than 2 hours. He seems to be pleased with it.

My 5 year old loves legos and usually flies through them. This one took him about 3 days to complete. He loved it and it looks really cool!

The LEGO Major Vonreg’s TIE Fighter is overall 4 stars. The set derives from the Star Wars Resistance animated series where it is more properly defined as a TIE Interceptor. The set includes four figures: Major Vonreg, General Leia Organa, Kaz Xiono, and the droid Bucket (R1-J5). I liked the Vonreg, Leia and Bucket figures. The ship is solidly built with a unique angular red-black color scheme. The cockpit opens in both the front and the top allowing Major Vonreg to be placed inside. You can kind of lock him in using the control column. There are two spring-loaded shooters with a central trigger on the top of the Fighter that shoots the shooters. For playability, I think this is a very good set. The red-black scheme is menacing eye-candy as you swoop and roll about the house. The rear trigger switch is placed exactly where kids hold the ship as they fly it, their thumb rocking the trigger back and forth as they fly it. Lego’s designers were spot on with this feature. We consider the MSRP to be a bit high, but it is already showing up with significant discounts that make this a much better value proposition.

I find that the red color makes it difficult to travel to worlds where I don’t want to be recognized. However, if you want to make a statement when landing on a Death Star (versus the run-of-the-mill gray, black and white transportation) then this is your ship. And given the tenuous lifespan of Death Stars, this ship will get you safely away fast, reliably and in style.

I always take my grandsons for their birthday weekend. We shop, eat...movies, etc. as this year my 6YO grandson’s birthday was preempted by Covid19, we did a FaceTime and had lunch together, and then shopped amazon! He loves it! And LEGO’s are always a good value and lots of entertainment!
