I ditched the four GB sodim. I replaced it with a 16GB Sodim. Its reliable. The weed spot is the LCD panel. I use it with a 27 ASUS. Overall its a great laptop.Is it a DELL XPS 13? No .

Laptop is barely over a year old, and wont power on anymore - wont even post or go to BIOS. Not a screen issue - fan turns on for about a minute and that is all. Reset battery, memory, etc. Last time I would buy a Lenovo ever again. Bought this for my daughter for online school, now have to find a replacement.

Died and would not power on. Low quality tech support. Will not buy important electronics this way again. Returned the laptop on 1/22/21 still not refunded as of 2/1/21

So Ive had this thing a year now...and I use it in a highly unusual and demanding environment. This is my astrophotography/observatory control system.

The battery on this computer is not good at all. I would recommend a computer with a better quality battery.

Ive had it for a while now. I actually use it to stream games on twitch. You have to lower your stream setting but it still looks decent. I can play any game on it but cant stream every game. If you can get extra storage because it does fill up fast. In order to have GTA5 I had to delete everything in order to download it.

All in all, if you weigh quality more you should probably pay 50-100 bucks more for laptop with similar characteristics but better built-in-quality. Also take into consideration that if battery life and working outdoors (brightness issue) is important for you this laptop is especially not good for you. But if you want very affordable laptop with descend performance and can turn blind eye to some of its important drawbacks which I described in detail below then this laptop is probably the best choice in the market now.

The with the top edging slanted inward towards the bottom it is awkward to open for use. A left and right bar at the bottom of the touchpad would be handy. It was very useful on my old laptop.

This laptop worked fine for about 12 months, now its crashing frequently. Its likely a hardware problem as the screen shows a brief flash of pixelated artifacts right before it crashes to a black screen. As per Lenovos instructions, Windows 10 has been completely reinstalled. I even paid for the premium Lenovo warranty and it has been sent to Texas for repairs twice and still has the same problem. Lenovo didnt fix the laptop and now they keep closing my service tickets with no explanation. Do not buy Lenovo, they sell low quality computers and then futher scam their customers with false warranty products.
