> 3 dayI have been using Lite-On for well over ten years now, going back to the CD drive days. I bought this one to replace a drive that was 8 years old. The one I got is very quiet and burns great. I have read about some people having issues with the noise and dieing within a year. If you look at most of those they are for the BLU-RAY burners, which I can not comment on since I do not do blu-rays.

> 3 dayThis is my 3rd Lite-On product, with my first one being a CD-ROM 17 years ago. Each one just seems to last forever and ever. The last one was my first DVD burner and I used that for almost 10 years! I hope that I get as long of time out of this one. I didnt rate a 5 star, only because the version of Nero included was a functional Trial copy. I wouldve just ordered the drive by itself if I knew that the Nero version was going to be capped like that.
