Greater than one weekIts an optical drive....it plays cds and dvds...it does it very well. It was very easy to install and the price was right so i made the magic happen.

> 3 dayIt works with sata cable hooked directly to motherboard but does not work with a sata to usb3.1 conversion adapter so it must be hard wired into the computer case and cannot be used as a temporary drive like i had planned. However it works fine no other complaints
