Just what I needed.

Saved my production. I was having problems with DVDs that were constantly defectives and was afraid to save my critical data on them. I tried several software and procedures to no avail. I finally replaced my aging CD/DVD drive and with the Nero 12 softwware, voila!!!! I have not had any problems in my DVD productions whatsoever...

The drive itself is excellent. No problem with the hardware. The DVD with the Nero software is no good. The files on the DVD are corrupted and cannot install. It seems that there is no way to get a good software disk or download it. Maybe they want to force you to buy the software, but I already paid extra for it when I bought the drive. Whatever happened to craftsmanship and integrity?

This is a very nice DVD burner for under $30. Exactly as described by seller. I would recommend to anyone that needs a decent CD-ROM/Writer.

Great product from a manufacturer thats produced cd roms forever. So at least you know youre getting something that is going to work and give you no problems. This product doesnt disappoint.

I had the change settings on system to IDE to get boot, windows then shows as CD drive until drivers installed, then shows DVD drive (must have updated firmware). Then changed system back to AHCI, then came up fine? Nothing came with drive to mention this. Does work fine with CDs and DVDs.

It fit nicely in my case. I does everything it is suppose to do although it is the loudest part of my computer so far. The extra cables were handy.
