> 3 dayThis is a poopsack that fits in the litter genie. It is a sack what that holds poop. It holds poop effectively, therefore it is an excellent product. It does exactly what it is mean to do, which is to be a sack that contains poop.

> 3 dayIm so impressed with these bags. The only thing I dont like about it is that you have to cut it and retie it as you go along. I can suck that up for the odor control. I fostered a litter of kittens who were very sick with the smelliest poops on the planet and that is when I bought the litter genie and the refill bags. Worth every penny. Now that the kittens have all been adopted, I am still using these bags for my 1 cat.

> 3 dayWe love using this product. We have 3 cats and they generate a lot of waste that often times can be smelly. This product stores the waste until trash day and it contains that terrible smell. I do Not know how it works. I just know that it does. The positive part of this purchase is having it delivered to my front door without me wasting my high priced gasoline ⛽️ Driving to stores. It is often times cheaper to buy this product from Amazon then from Petco or Petsmart. So I win period.

25-04-2025Decided to get the litter Genie and have to say, works great. The bag refill is fairly easy to use once you have put in the 1st cartridge. The bags are thick, can hold a weeks worth of cat doo no problem. I have 2 cats and it is full by end of week. Doesnt RIP or tear so far when emptying. Had for 4 months now and replace cartridge 1 time a month for 2 cats. Cuts down smell, and I dont worry about it smelling up garbage can since I tie the bag.

> 3 dayI bought a Pet Genie a few years ago after a friend raved about her Litter Genie. I loved it! I live in an apartment with 3+ dogs (I am also a dog trainer/sitter), and the dumpster is a good hike away, making it far easier to toss a bag of dog poo into a waste bin. And I have an elderly dog who uses pee pads. The genie contains all of the smell, and has seriously simplified my life. Then, suddenly the refills for the Pet Genie were getting harder and harder to find! I purchased a the Dooli adapter to use their bags, but just wasnt happy with it, and even tried garbage bags. After much deliberation I ordered a Litter Genie refill, and I am SO happy to find that it fits! Its the one that consistently contains the smell and is the easiest to dispose of.

24-04-2025The Litter Genie refill so easy to use. The price is right , and the bags they make are strong not thin and fallapart when full. I am very satisfied with the product.

> 3 dayRight now we dont have a better system in place so this works. The refills are fine, theyre just like what you get with the Genie itself. Its better to buy in bulk, you get a better price that way. The Genie (which is a different review) could probably use some tweaking. As far as refills go though, these are fine. They last a fair amount of time, they tend to not break, and they are easy to use. If you have more than two cats, Id make sure to have at least one refill on standby. While you get warning when its about full, its nice to not have to worry about getting another one immediately.

> 3 dayI love the Litter Genie. It saves me a dozen trash bags a week, and makes the cats bathroom smells better. The cartridge has good enough design, and the pull down bags are thick and great quality. It takes a minute to remove the litter filled bag, and install the new one. The only complaint I have are the cartridges are a bit expensive. My cat is very active and produce a lot. So a genie cartridge definitely does not last two months. But thats not a flaw in the product itself. So I still give this a 5 star. Another thing I havent figure out is when the bag would run out. I dont keep track, or I lost track all the time. So I do cheat by using regular 13 gallon bags in the Litter Genie. Using the garbage bags is a good way to save, and its always well stocked at home (if not, grocery bags can be used though a bit short). But the garbage bags are much thinner, get caught in the divider sometimes, does not shield odor as well, and cost a few minutes to install. So I still purchase the refill cartridge from Amazon. Because Im not sure when the included bag would run out, I keep the empty cartridge ring and use it with garbage bags when I run out of included bags. Heres how I use the cartridge ring and included bags: Follow direction to install bag. Tie the bottom of the bag with a rubber band. Heres how I use garbage bags: Open up garbage bag. Install bag similar to original bag with the opening wrapped around the cartridge ring. Add a rubber band to secure garbage bag around the cartridge below the black top. One thing I do pay special attention to is when I install/remove bags on the Genie, I always wear disposable gloves. I remove litter and replace bags every week, but dont wash the Genie every week. Because theres no way to avoid litter coming into contact with the pail, I always try to play safe.

> 3 dayWas told to expect these replaceable bag units to last roughly 2 months.... They didnt last 2 months combined. At one point with each replacement bag set, their so-called Durable Five-Layer Bags with Odor Barrier Technology ripped while pulling more bag out. This product is just an all around waste of money. Its like when you pay $40 for a UV pet urine flash light then you find out 5x stronger UV lights are half that price if you just dont shop in the pet dept. Same general idea. If you have more than one cat, you will be taking this thing out every couple of days as the unit will in no way hold even 1 weeks worth of clumping cat litter. Not even for a single cat. I have 2 cats whose bowls are filled once a day and I make 2 trips emptying this litter genie per week. Youre going to want something much larger than this flimsy cheap plastic product if youre looking to avoid making too many trips to the outside trash can. Now that I am done with this weak product and relegating it to the recycle bin where I dont need to be reminded of my poor purchase by seeing it ever again, Im thinking that I will try a diaper genie (which this product was obviously trying to spin off of) for my litter cleaning business. Its larger, more durable plastic, comes with a foot pedal so I dont need to lift the litter can lid myself, and the odor-eliminating system in that product, as I recall from my diaper changing days, is slightly more advanced than a spring-loaded piece of cheap plastic that, in no way whatsoever, creates an odor-controlled environment. Its also already got plenty of positive reviews for just that purpose from pet owners so I know its a possibility and, at this point, its probably also my best chance at odor control in my homes litter box room as all these Litter Genie, Litter Champ, litterwhathaveyou products seem gimmicky and half as effective as a diaper trash can at best.
