Litter Genie Refill (1 Pack)

I cant make up my mind which purchase I like best. The Liter Genie or the Omega Paws litter box, I now feel like I have a life of leisure. They have made cat ownership a pleasure rather than the chore it used to be. I tell every cat owner I know that the pair can change their life. Just roll the liter box, pull out the little drawer, dump it into the litter genie, and your done. Its so easy and pleasant, I wait for one of my 3 cats to use it just so I can do it again. And NO LITER BOX SMELL!!!! ABSOLUTELY LOVE THEM BOTH!!!!!!!!!!!this review is also for the Liter Genie refills. They are also wonderful!! So easy to install, very strong and sturdy, and eliminated odors. LOVE THE WHOLE SYSTEM!!!

Biggest issue is when I insert a new package. Last time, 2 rows of plastic came out at same time so only had 1/2 product to use. Every time I insert new pack, I have to read instructions. Should be easier. Very Convenient and efficient when/if inserted right.

I didnt notice that the LITTER GENIE came with a cartridge so this is an extra, which is good to have. This system using the cartridge is so easy to elimate the cat waste, just scoop it daily using the scoop that comes with it into the GENIE, pull out the blocker tray to release the waste into the bag, and it and the smell is gone until trash day. Follow the directions by pulling out the plastic a little more than about 15 inches, tie the end and let it go into the bottom, close the unit and use. On trash day, open the unit, cut the plastic using the onboard cutter, tie the top, and throw it away. Repeat for the next use. I dont know if the refill will last as long as it says but I do know it is very simple and easy for me to get rid of the waste. When using the LITTER GENIE you can only use the refills instead of just putting a bag into the bottom as the bag comes from the refill and goes the entire way to the bottom therefore keeping the inside of the unit clean. Recommended even for multiple cats.

Works great in our Litter Genie that we use for our chihuahua puppys urine soaked pee lads. I roll them up end to end and then roll them again into a roll like sushi and tape with box tape and put them in. (I flush the other) The smell does not escape the Litter Genie even in our hot garage in the summer in Florida. Its awesome!

I really like the Litter Genie. It keeps the smell down and fewer trips to the trash can. But boy does it smell when you go to remove the bag. I feel like I need to wear a particle face mask to prevent beathing in toxic fumes. I now add litter box deodorant to each new bag I start. I switched from regular clay and corn type litters to the Tidy Cat Breeze System. Now there no clumps of urine soaked cat litter taking up space in the bags but the contents still smell a litte ripe. I recommend the Litter Genie but just know that it doesnt keep down ALL odors.

Good system but I wish the bag cartridge wasnt so expensive. A small, lidded trash can and free plastic store bags would be much cheaper. Also, they need to add a series of *horizontal* lines letting know how close you are to the end of the cartridge with the final line a different color.

We have two cats and the litter genie has changed our life. One liner refill lasts us more than a month. More like month and a half depending on how full of it our cats get. Lol

They claim these refills last up to two weeks for a single cat, but that is really stretching the truth. Count on about a week of normal litterbox use. For these to last 2 weeks, you would have to starve your cat of food and water and tie the bags as close as possible on both ends so that not a single inch is wasted. 2 weeks, sure, maybe for a kitten, but certainly not a full grown cat. 3 stars because its a good product, but minus 2 stars for the deceptive advertising.

Easy to use, no more plastic grocery bags for poop-scooping. No more litter all over the floor from missing said grocery bag. Saved time and energy. One bag collects about a months worth of pee + poo (one cat) with NO ODOR.

This product is great! No odors escape and I fill the Litter Genie throughout the day cleaning up after 3 cats. The Litter Genie takes 4 days to fill before I have to tie off a bag and that means I only have to throw away a full bag twice a week. No smell for 4 days with 3 cats is amazing! I use Hartz Multi-Cat Lightweight Recycled Clumping Paper Litter that is odorless, super lightweight, and does a great job of trapping odors. The two products combined have made my home odor free :)
