> 24 hourThis mouse is one of the better ones Ive owned. It is light and is quite responsive. The feature I like best, though, is that it has buttons on top of the mouse to the right and left of the left-click and right-click buttons. These are easy to reach and can be programmed for different functions. For example, Ive programmed mine to open the Start menu, Task switcher and calculator. And I still can increase or decrease mouse sensitivity. And the different colors on the side are cool, too. It has really improved my productivity and efficiency when using the computer. (I am not a gamer. I use this mouse for work.) Plus, its about the only mouse on the market with buttons on the top of the mouse which again I find easier to reach then buttons on the side. As a right-handed person, I wish the mouse was slightly angled to the right to better accommodate my hand, but it is ambidextrous, and I accept the limitation.

> 24 hourFinger area is a bit crowded for me as I like to put 2 fingers on my r button. The main l + r buttons are a bit stiff. Otherwise seems solid.

> 24 hourI like Logitec. The secondary buttons are very close to l/r mouse buttons. Too easy to click those by mistake.

> 24 hourBeen using this one now for over 2 years. Bought a 2nd for spare. Programming it was easy. Now that I think about it Ill be getting a 3rd to take with me on the road for the macro capabilities that are stored in it to travel with.

> 24 hourIve been using an HP 1500 wired mouse for over 10 years. Was about to order the same model (they sell it here on Amazon) when I saw this mouse. Since it has the same basic shape and is wired (hate messing with batteries at the most inoppourtune time in a game) I ordered it after a little research. I like everything about the mouse except the software you need to download to change button features. Some reviews and the Logitech site said GHub works. It didnt on my 64 bit Windows 7. Digging further, I found that the the older software version, Logitech Gaming Software, worked. I was able to change the features I wanted. The problem is that installing this software and its drivers killed my Logitech joystick. Since I created a restore point prior to installing the software, I just used Windows System Restore to unistall the software and drivers. Thankfully, I had selected to save the changed features onto the mouses internal memory so all the changes I made were still there. So if I want to change features in the future, Ill have to create a restore point, install LGS, make my changes, save to mouse memory, then uninstall LGA via system restore.

> 24 hourI have been using this mouse for years and have had to replace it more than I would have liked. I always have a backup, because with no warning, it will simply conk out. I am NOT left handed, or even ambidextrous, and really cant do much except push the mouse buttons and scroll with my left hand. So the buttons being on top is brilliant when gaming. I just happen to have gotten into the habit from day one of using my left hand for my mouse, so my right hand was free to take notes or to write things down. This is the only mouse for me, and I hope I can always find one when I need it!

> 24 hourFor such a low price and such great performance, this is by far my favorite mouse Ive ever owned. It doesnt have that industrial heavy duty feel of a $70 high end mouse, but for $30 youre going to get a lot out of it. My favorite thing about it is the four additional buttons and their placement. It takes a bit to get used to them, and not every game will benefit from having 4 additional mouse buttons. However most games, especially games which require quick access to a lot of commands (Dota, PUBG, Battlefield) really highlight why the typical 2 extra buttons on other gaming mice arent enough. Typically in an FPS Ill bind the top left button to crouch, and the bottom left to prone. The benefit of this is I dont have to take my left hand fingers off any of the movement keys while I do those actions. On top of that I can bind throwing a grenade to the top right button instead of the typical G key so I can move and aim while throwing a grenade (very useful in a game like Black Ops 3). In Dota and any other RTS/MOBA the benefits are pretty obvious with how many commands are available to you. Growing up using a controller trained my right hand to be the most dextrous, so having a mouse that takes advantage of that instead of using my left hand for nearly everything is very nice. Hardware like this highlights why the custom experience PC gaming provides is the best.

> 24 hourThis mouse will not fit L / XL hand sizes. M would be hit or miss depending on how long fingers are. XS and S hands, oh yeah, youre good. ALSO note that the main left/right click buttons dont extend to the front edge of the mouse, so you will feel the ridge along the end of the mouse if your fingers are long enough. The mouse is fairly narrow, too, so Tolkienesque dwarves need not apply, but burglar Hobbits will love it.

> 24 hourGoing along with the many positive reviews about the G300ss advantages, Ill agree it is a good buy for a bit over $20. It functions as it should and seems to be built well. Id forgotten I had this mouse until recently when I discovered it in a junk box of computer stuff. What--looks unused and its a Logitech . . . ? So I hooked it up and pretty soon I remembered why I tossed it in storage. The left and right sides of the G300s mirror each other, so there are twin buttons on either top front corner; this means that my middle finger rests not only on the right click button but also against one of those top corner buttons. Unintended clicks occurred immediately. So I had to download and install Logitechs less-than-stellar software in order to turn off the problematic buttons. The thing is, although Im a righty, I cant imagine a lefty with similarly sized hands would be able to avoid the opposite version of this problem. Like many mouse manufacturers, Logitech is prone to sticking extra buttons anywhere as a misguided marketing ploy. In conclusion: ambidextrous, great; button layout, atrocious.
