I use this mouse for graphic design every day and it lasts only about a year or so before the left click (pick) button develops a key lag. This is when you click on something there is a lag between when you clicked and when it picks. The reverse is true, when you release the left click button there is a lag between when you physically released the button and when it actually does release. This is a WIRED mouse and should not have this lag problem one can have with a wireless mouse. Ive reconciled the fact this mouse is a consumable and must be replaced regularly. I use this mouse only because of the 4 programmable buttons on either side of the left and right buttons. Its time to order a replacement UPDATE: I got the new replacement mouse today, its a huge difference to the other mouse which was only three years old. The new mouse clicks are responsive, doesnt feel mushy like the old mouse. I should have replaced the old mouse a year ago. Like I said this is a good mouse, but only when you treat it as a consumable to replace every year or so if you use it everyday for work or gaming.

Ive had one of these for the past 4 1/2 years, amazing build quality. Fairly comfortable and good response times.

We received this gaming mouse and package was prefect. No damage at all. I had order two of them because I have twin boys who are 11 years old. They are into gaming just like their dad. When the boys open the package they loved the looks and feel of this mouse. They connected it to the computer and it works perfectly no problems at all. They went to settings and fixed the nine bottoms for them and their gaming they play. Now it was very easy for 11 year old, I think just about anyone can handle this mouse. When my husband seen this mouse and how it felt plus worked I have to reorder another one for him. I would highly recommend this product for the value and easy to use to everyone. We love this product very much!

The buttons on top are very important so that my husband doesnt hit the wrong button while gaming. The mouse works great but this is his second one. The first one lasted about 18 months, I hope this one lasts longer.

Ive been using an HP 1500 wired mouse for over 10 years. Was about to order the same model (they sell it here on Amazon) when I saw this mouse. Since it has the same basic shape and is wired (hate messing with batteries at the most inoppourtune time in a game) I ordered it after a little research. I like everything about the mouse except the software you need to download to change button features. Some reviews and the Logitech site said GHub works. It didnt on my 64 bit Windows 7. Digging further, I found that the the older software version, Logitech Gaming Software, worked. I was able to change the features I wanted. The problem is that installing this software and its drivers killed my Logitech joystick. Since I created a restore point prior to installing the software, I just used Windows System Restore to unistall the software and drivers. Thankfully, I had selected to save the changed features onto the mouses internal memory so all the changes I made were still there. So if I want to change features in the future, Ill have to create a restore point, install LGS, make my changes, save to mouse memory, then uninstall LGA via system restore.

I had a left-handed Razer Deathadder mouse for years until the buttons finally started failing. I dont play FPS games as much as I use to, so I didnt need a high performance model, just a good left-handed or ambidextrous mouse. For the price this model looked a good choice... and its not a bad mouse... there are a few things though. The good: its ambidextrous and does feel comfortable on both hands. The extra buttons (6) are on the top, not the sides, which makes access much easier to me (Razer had side buttons and I only ever could comfortably use 1 set). It has accurate and smooth gliding, and allows for fine tuning the responsiveness. The bad: it is a little smaller than mice I am use to, which took some adjustment. Due to its ergo design you do have to grip it to use it fully and cant just palm it. And while I would not label it flimsy it does feel less sturdy than the Razer and Microsoft mice I have used regularly before. I personal comment, for me it makes my palm sweat, which is kinda odd. Overall, for the price I think its a decent mouse and would recommend... I have no real complaints that arent personal preference in nature, especially considering how far and few true left-handed or ambidextrous mice are. If the longevity turns out to be less than stellar, I might revise this... but for now its good.

Mouse programming does not work with GHUB, but you can get the app you do need (Logitech Gaming Software... its like GHUBs grandparent) on the Logitech website still, and if you set it up in the onboard memory, then you can literally set it and forget it. Great for small hands or southpaws, but make sure you have a wrist rest; this thing is a low rider of sorts.

I really like the symmetrical textured design and it’s easily programmable lighting/customization with button mapping features. Perfect for everyday use and basic gaming needs without having to spend big for it.

Going along with the many positive reviews about the G300ss advantages, Ill agree it is a good buy for a bit over $20. It functions as it should and seems to be built well. Id forgotten I had this mouse until recently when I discovered it in a junk box of computer stuff. What--looks unused and its a Logitech . . . ? So I hooked it up and pretty soon I remembered why I tossed it in storage. The left and right sides of the G300s mirror each other, so there are twin buttons on either top front corner; this means that my middle finger rests not only on the right click button but also against one of those top corner buttons. Unintended clicks occurred immediately. So I had to download and install Logitechs less-than-stellar software in order to turn off the problematic buttons. The thing is, although Im a righty, I cant imagine a lefty with similarly sized hands would be able to avoid the opposite version of this problem. Like many mouse manufacturers, Logitech is prone to sticking extra buttons anywhere as a misguided marketing ploy. In conclusion: ambidextrous, great; button layout, atrocious.

Well, if you are on a budget or you just dont want to waste +50$ on a mouse, this one is probably worth to consideration. At arrival, the box was misleadingly small, but this is actually alright because the mouse size is average; not to large, nor small. Factually, is around 12 cm large and 7.5 cm wide. It feels solid, the plastics and rubber materials feel decently crafted; the buttons also feel alright. Ergonomics is not the strong point, but as many things, is about getting used to it. My main problem with this mouse was actually not the hardware, rather the software. Upon testing in my PS4 console, the mouse was already key-binded with some weird random combinations. So after learning about the build-in memory i decided to look for Logitech software on this mouse. The research was a little disappointing due to broken links or poor guidance on the website or printed guides in the box. I am not sure if the links have been fix by now but i must thank some Reddit guys for sharing the latest functional version of the Logitech Gaming Software in a thread. This LGS is the application youll need to install on your computer to modify the mouse keys as desired, perhaps not the only one you can use. Simply explained, there are 3 different profiles you can edit in the mouse (8 colors for them), this means that you dont actually have just 4 new buttons compared from a regular mouse, rather 12 possible buttons combinations if you tweak the settings correctly. I would recommend keeping the 2 buttons in the center for DPI swap and profile swap, but they are also moddable. Another small drawback was the fact the buttons did not had a function on their own (MB4+MB5+MB6...), they need to be bind with a logical key combination on your keyboard. - At least on my testing. In recap, the product is good and looks good but you might need to invest a little bit of time to make it to work just as you desire it to work on the games you want to play, but nothing too bad at all. The Logitech sticker was also a nice marketing little detail.
