Greater than one weekSo when gaming I mouse with my left hand and when my Razer Taipan (Ambidextrous) started acting up after years of loyal service, I thought I would given something new a try. The issue I always had with the Razer was that regardless of which hand you use, 2 of buttons are on the pinky side and really got in the way more than they helped. This mouse with all buttons on top gives access to every button regardless of hand being used. Right off the bat, the quality of the build and the material being used is nothing close to the Razer, however the build on this mouse is consistent with a $20ish dollar mouse. No much weight, thin non reinforced chord, more plasticy feel. I am still getting used to the button layout. I like having access to all 4 buttons accessible, but I miss the intuitive availability of buttons I can press with thumb. I am also having to get used to the smaller size of the mouse altogether and find it can cramp my hand. The software suite installs easy enough and gives you good control over the button map, colors, sensitivity. Overall it seems to track well and buttons respond accurately. Its not a bad mouse for the money, but I think I am just used to a more quality unit and will probably return to something higher end.

> 3 dayWe received this gaming mouse and package was prefect. No damage at all. I had order two of them because I have twin boys who are 11 years old. They are into gaming just like their dad. When the boys open the package they loved the looks and feel of this mouse. They connected it to the computer and it works perfectly no problems at all. They went to settings and fixed the nine bottoms for them and their gaming they play. Now it was very easy for 11 year old, I think just about anyone can handle this mouse. When my husband seen this mouse and how it felt plus worked I have to reorder another one for him. I would highly recommend this product for the value and easy to use to everyone. We love this product very much!

> 3 dayI use this mouse for graphic design every day and it lasts only about a year or so before the left click (pick) button develops a key lag. This is when you click on something there is a lag between when you clicked and when it picks. The reverse is true, when you release the left click button there is a lag between when you physically released the button and when it actually does release. This is a WIRED mouse and should not have this lag problem one can have with a wireless mouse. Ive reconciled the fact this mouse is a consumable and must be replaced regularly. I use this mouse only because of the 4 programmable buttons on either side of the left and right buttons. Its time to order a replacement UPDATE: I got the new replacement mouse today, its a huge difference to the other mouse which was only three years old. The new mouse clicks are responsive, doesnt feel mushy like the old mouse. I should have replaced the old mouse a year ago. Like I said this is a good mouse, but only when you treat it as a consumable to replace every year or so if you use it everyday for work or gaming.

> 3 dayI have been using this mouse for years and have had to replace it more than I would have liked. I always have a backup, because with no warning, it will simply conk out. I am NOT left handed, or even ambidextrous, and really cant do much except push the mouse buttons and scroll with my left hand. So the buttons being on top is brilliant when gaming. I just happen to have gotten into the habit from day one of using my left hand for my mouse, so my right hand was free to take notes or to write things down. This is the only mouse for me, and I hope I can always find one when I need it!

> 3 dayI play with an 18 button MMO mouse and I am convinced that this mouse with all the buttons on top is dumb compared to the 12 button thumb style. But that is personal preference and I am opinionated and I stand by my statement that this design is dumb. But my son likes it and this is his second one.

> 3 dayA pretty impressive mouse with only a few drawbacks that honestly are opinionated based on handsize or how you like your mouse to be in terms of size and button locations. Pros : + Clicks feel solid, not cheap. + The side buttons on top of the regular left and right clicks are responsive and surprisingly DONT get in the way of normal use. + Features software you download from Logitechs website that allows you to create 3 sets of DPI settings, each its own represented color (I have my main set on red, as my entire setup revolves around a Red/Black color scheme) which then allow 5 separate settings within a set, which is easily customized from the software. + In addition from the above comment, you can easily change between the settings within your current DPI scheme, or change over to a different scheme with the buttons below the mousewheel. Very useful if you need a sudden controlled DPI change, or saving a scheme for FPS use then a scheme for RTS, ect. + This can be a pro or con, but the mousewheel has a slight clicking feel to it when scrolling which is great, yet its solid rubbery coating might be a turnoff for some people. + Im a hybrid Claw/Palm holder, and this feels comfortable to use for both styles. Cons : - Its a smaller mouse. I have slightly larger hands with long fingers and this mouse felt just a tad bit too small for me at first, but ive gotten use to it. Yet this might not be much of an issue for Claw style grips. - The wire is long enough to manage a normal under-the-desk setup of a tower, yet the wiring seems thin and delicate. Id advise slight caution when handling when putting it away or moving it around. - Pro or Con depending on your taste for the feel or texture of a mousewheel, as its about the same you would get from a standard Dell mouse or something of the sort you find in a computer lab or library. This does not take away from the overall use of the mousewheel, it works great. - The DPI setting software was a little confusing at first, i recommend playing around with the settings to understand how it works.

> 3 dayConfig is similar to other far more expensive Logitec gaming mice that Ive owned. Its light but probably has weights at bottom so very solid / hefty feel low center of gravity The price went up after I bought when I thought about buying a couple more as gift. It is very ergonomic and works with left hands. button action very positive. ALT button outside normal finger position but close. Chip inside does comparable resolution and Sampling rate to 15 yo top end laser mice. Sliding surface is thick, slippery. Cord is slippery so drag isnt an issue. The weak points, furthest ring finger is a reach for me in my fav postion, button config app does Everything so Id rather have complex setup with easy to swap configs for desktop painting/cad apps.

> 3 dayThis is perfect for me, the right size and placement of the buttons, ALL the buttons are programmable including the dpi buttons . both the left side and right side buttons work, not like some ambidextrous mice that only one side or the other works. The most important thing is it works on linux and I use input re-mapper with no problems,so I didnt have to set this up on another pc. I dont know how long it will last so Im buying a back-up, especially at this price.( nothing lasts anymore, so I dont expect this to last more than a year, but Ill hope for better) Oh I use this for 3d graphics in blender. works great in blender.

> 3 dayWhen I say the left mouse button started to go that means the dreaded double clicking and signal degradation that comes with repeated use. Im a guy who sits at his computer A LOT, and aside from some minor gripes and the longevity issue, this is a great mouse. It has checked almost all my boxes for a mouse, not that im picky, i just want quality. This thing lasted me a little under a year, or maybe even a little less before the dreaded double clicking started. Mind you, I was still using it even after the left mouse button signal had gone wonky. It wasnt pleasant, but depending on what you were doing, you could make it work. I cursed at the thing a lot though. I just had to learn to click really hard and decisively if i was say, dragging a window. It was really annoying to say the least, and added a whole new layer of difficulty to many games and such, even making some near impossible as it got worse. After all that, for 15 bucks and the amount of clicking I do, I think this thing has done its job. I THINK. Anyway, thats why im ordering a 2nd one! I tell ya, the power of being used to something is strong. Also it makes things easy because I already have the software and such downloaded (for customizing the lights and DPI). I got almost a year out of the mouse (including the time where i just dealt with the stupid messed up button). I played world of warcraft, hearthstone, etc., and did work related things heavily with it. Im going to keep track of exactly when the left clicker on this one goes bad so i can reference it with the purchase, and maybe ill update my review if its still relevant.

Greater than one weekThis mouse replaced Logitech G400s mouse. Initially I did not like the shape but after a bit I got used to it. It is very good mouse if you have not large hands. For gaming and working this mouse fits the bill. And it is not super expensive. I dont really like extra buttons being on top but after you get used to them, you do not notice them really. Otherwise the mouse tracks well and has just the right weight, not too light not too heavy. I use it every day for many hours without any issues. I also like that it is both left and right handed so I can switch if needed. I will buy another one if they still make it when this one wears out. So far that has been my problem - the mice you like are not made anymore.
