> 3 dayIll keep my review brief, but note the following points: * Overall a pretty good overall * Use it as a lefty mouse and, like some reviewers, havent found anything better on the market. * Build quality feels okay, nothing special. Its like a generic Dell mouse with something extra that kicks it up a notch. Maybe its the rubber grip or the fine-tuned *click* of the mouse button. Who knows. * Starting to notice that left button (normally, a right button if using right hand) is acting funky with just about two years of causal use. I see one reviewer gave the mouse one star for durability. I think thats a little low. This is a decent mouse for the price and, as mentioned above, is probably the best option for left-handed users who dont want to spend a hundred bucks or more on something.

> 3 daySo when gaming I mouse with my left hand and when my Razer Taipan (Ambidextrous) started acting up after years of loyal service, I thought I would given something new a try. The issue I always had with the Razer was that regardless of which hand you use, 2 of buttons are on the pinky side and really got in the way more than they helped. This mouse with all buttons on top gives access to every button regardless of hand being used. Right off the bat, the quality of the build and the material being used is nothing close to the Razer, however the build on this mouse is consistent with a $20ish dollar mouse. No much weight, thin non reinforced chord, more plasticy feel. I am still getting used to the button layout. I like having access to all 4 buttons accessible, but I miss the intuitive availability of buttons I can press with thumb. I am also having to get used to the smaller size of the mouse altogether and find it can cramp my hand. The software suite installs easy enough and gives you good control over the button map, colors, sensitivity. Overall it seems to track well and buttons respond accurately. Its not a bad mouse for the money, but I think I am just used to a more quality unit and will probably return to something higher end.

09-06-2025I have been using this mouse for a few months now. I had to stop because I was getting wrist pain. The problem is the placement of the side buttons G4 and G6. In order to use them you have to lift and bend your fingers a lot to get to them. By default, G4 is the back button for browsing so it gets used a lot. I have since switched to the G502 and my wrist has stopped hurting. If you do buy this mouse, I strongly recommend that you only map commands to G4 and G6 that are seldom used.

> 3 dayIm on my third Logitech G300s. Thats for one simple reason: you wont find another gaming mouse this good for this cheap. Lets start with the ergonomics. Theyre good. After a full 8-hour workday or marathon gaming session, youll find no hand or wrist pain. The flared base supports the meaty parts of your palm, while grippy, silicon cushioning along the sides keep the thumb and pinky in place. Then theres the button feel, which is great. The left and right buttons are tactile and clicky, as are the four macro buttons, while the scroll wheel has excellent articulation points without being too hard to move. That means you can easily switch guns in a shooter OR scroll long webpages without any issue. Speaking of those macro buttons, lets talk about the software. The best thing about this mouse is the ability to save three profiles directly to the device. That means I can toss it in a bag with my secondary laptop and never worry about losing my shortcuts. Since I write all day, Ive programmed them as shortcuts for cut, copy, paste, and duplicate. When I want to knock out some writing at the coffee shop, I bring the G300s with me and the onboard memory means I never lose those shortcuts, no matter what computer Im using. They even work when I plug it into my phone. All of that on a mouse that can go as low as $15 on sale. I have a few more of these stockpiled, since they tend to break after about 3-4 years of daily use. I never want to use another mouse again.

> 3 dayWhen it comes to freeing up your left hand, being able to program aim required gadgets or abilities to the mouse is key. This mouse is comfortable, offering multiple easy access top buttons while being extremely lightweight and ambidextrous. This is my favorite mouse I just wish Logitech would create a quality platform with better presentation and update some of the software. I still love this mouse though. Im on my second G300s, been using them since 2018.

Greater than one weekThe buttons on top are very important so that my husband doesnt hit the wrong button while gaming. The mouse works great but this is his second one. The first one lasted about 18 months, I hope this one lasts longer.

Greater than one weekIt was a great budget gaming mouse until I made the mistake of updating the macro software from 9*02*65 (201810 8) to 9*04*49 (2022 525). Now its only good for simple office apps. At least on my computer, macros dont properly generate mouse clicks (only keystrokes) and generating a mouse wheel roll will crash the software. Tech support isnt very helpful, and I have little hope theyll expend the resources to fix the software in a timely manner. The mouse can work on its own for basic customization, but complicated macros require the Logitech Gaming Software which is being replaced by G Hub. Unfortunately G Hub doesnt support the G300s. I wouldnt buy this mouse today for gaming.

> 3 dayIm a left handed gamer and as all us lefties know, there are no gaming mice made for us. The best available are ambidextrous mice. Which drives me nuts since there is no reason for an ambidextrous mouse. An ambidextrous person could use either a right or left handed mouse. An ambidextrous mouse is just a poor compromise between the two, so why not just make a real left handed mouse? I tied many and while this mouse leaves much to be desired, its probably the best that can be hoped for. At least all the buttons are accessible, if not entirely comfortable. It lacks any thumb buttons, which means all nine buttons are most easily pressed with the index and middle fingers. Some are really quite well placed and comfortable, other not so much. However, it is much faster and easier than using key binds on the keyboard, and that is whats important. Otherwise the mouse is really nice. The software installs easily and is intuitive. The LED color on the side can be changed. Its light, moves smoothy. All buttons feel solid and have a positive response. It works great for gaming as well as les intense internet surfing and word processing. In short, if we cant get everything a righty gets, at least we can get this, and at a great price.

> 3 daythis is such a breath of fresh air for me as a small hand PC user, I usually am pretty dang uncomfortable using most gaming mice but this one feels very comfortable in my tiny hand, the only downside is that if you have multiple Logitech devices you may run into problems because of the TWO INCOMPATIBLE applications for button mapping and other settings, this one uses Logitch Gaming Software whereas my headset and keyboard use Logitch G Hub, very commonly one will crash when I open the other and it drives me insane....
