> 3 dayReally like the design of this mouse. For gaming especially FPS having the buttons on top is really comfortable and easy to reach and figure out which button you want to press. They did leave 2 things out though that would have made it even better. I see no reason why it would not benefit from having two buttons on the side in addition to a sniper button for a total of 3 buttons on the side. The design does lend itself for using with the left or right hand though. I having been trying this out against a vertical gaming mouse, one of Logitechs other higher priced gaming mice with a sniper button and so far I like this one the best in regards to comfort and button layout. Have never had a mouse with this many buttons on the top and I really like it. Using Logitechs gaming software you can program the buttons (including the DPI cycle button) to any keyboard key, mouse function, or other various windows functions like copy or paste. If you are looking for a different design or are left handed I would recommend giving this one a try. Also the wheel does not free spin so you are stuck with scrolling like mice do from the beginning of time (but at the time of my purchase it was fairly cheap for a gaming mouse).

> 3 dayI really like the symmetrical textured design and it’s easily programmable lighting/customization with button mapping features. Perfect for everyday use and basic gaming needs without having to spend big for it.

> 3 dayA pretty impressive mouse with only a few drawbacks that honestly are opinionated based on handsize or how you like your mouse to be in terms of size and button locations. Pros : + Clicks feel solid, not cheap. + The side buttons on top of the regular left and right clicks are responsive and surprisingly DONT get in the way of normal use. + Features software you download from Logitechs website that allows you to create 3 sets of DPI settings, each its own represented color (I have my main set on red, as my entire setup revolves around a Red/Black color scheme) which then allow 5 separate settings within a set, which is easily customized from the software. + In addition from the above comment, you can easily change between the settings within your current DPI scheme, or change over to a different scheme with the buttons below the mousewheel. Very useful if you need a sudden controlled DPI change, or saving a scheme for FPS use then a scheme for RTS, ect. + This can be a pro or con, but the mousewheel has a slight clicking feel to it when scrolling which is great, yet its solid rubbery coating might be a turnoff for some people. + Im a hybrid Claw/Palm holder, and this feels comfortable to use for both styles. Cons : - Its a smaller mouse. I have slightly larger hands with long fingers and this mouse felt just a tad bit too small for me at first, but ive gotten use to it. Yet this might not be much of an issue for Claw style grips. - The wire is long enough to manage a normal under-the-desk setup of a tower, yet the wiring seems thin and delicate. Id advise slight caution when handling when putting it away or moving it around. - Pro or Con depending on your taste for the feel or texture of a mousewheel, as its about the same you would get from a standard Dell mouse or something of the sort you find in a computer lab or library. This does not take away from the overall use of the mousewheel, it works great. - The DPI setting software was a little confusing at first, i recommend playing around with the settings to understand how it works.

> 3 dayIve been playing MMOs for a while, but have never had a mouse I really liked that had programmable buttons. I got my boyfriend a razer naga, and while he loved it, its too huge for my small, womanly hands. I spent forever researching different mice with programmable buttons for small hands, and it was almost impossible to find any good info on them. (And some of them only had 2 or 3 extra buttons). I finally found a forum post from a woman who had tried what seemed like every mouse on the market, and a tech review that said everything about this mouse was great except it was small - and BAM, that was the selling factor for me! -Works great -Size works for small hands but is fine for large ones as well (its not tiny like a lot of wireless or laptop mouses can be, just small enough to fit comfortably. My large handed boyfriend has no problem using this mouse) -Ambidextrous -Software works great and lets you set up profiles for different games or accounts -You can change the color of the lights (I thought I didnt care about this function and thought it was stupid til I got the mouse, changed the color and went Hee hee ... burple. - Good price! A lot of mice are ridiculously expensive (im not into paying 80-150 for a mouse on sale, hoo boy), and if you get it on sale /watch the price you can even score a deal.

> 3 dayThese mice are great for gaming. However, they DO NOT last long. I just bought my third one in three years. The button placement is ideal for me.

06-06-2025I like this mouse because it has 3 modes and many programmable buttons. It is symmetric, which is crucial to me as a leftie (I can never find leftie mouse). I wish there was an alternative of this mouse but wireless. Still the cable is long enough, device works great and price is pretty good for the product so I would most certainly buy again.

Greater than one weekThe main selling point of this mouse is that it has programmable buttons and onboard memory. Onboard memory basically allows you to save your mouse settings, and then move it to another computer, and have those programmed buttons still work. Without onboard memory, the programmable buttons only work on the computer that you have installed software. So - this becomes important if you move the mouse between different computers, or to work where you dont have administration privileges to install software. At this price point - few mice have on board memory. So - Logitech has two different software out there that you can use to program your peripherals. There is the older Logitech Gaming Software (LGS) and the newer Logitech G Hub. This mouse only works with the older LGS - it will not work with G Hub. Right now there arent a lot of things that G Hub offers that you cant get on LGS, but who knows that the future holds. Back to those programmable buttons - you can save to on board memory any single keystroke or combination of keystrokes (ie. ctrl-something or ctl-alt-something), but you cant save a whole series of keystrokes to memory. If you want to save more complicated commands - then you must have the LGS software installed. Its overall a pretty comfortable mouse. Its light - so if you prefer a heavier mouse this aint the mouse for you. The led lights are useful because they change when you cycle between the 3 different saved profiles - each profile can have buttons programmed differently as well as a different dpi.

> 3 dayIf you ever switch your mouse hand - this is the mouse for you. Though it will only fit well if you have a medium-sized hand.
