Logitech G300s Optical Ambidextrous Gaming Mouse – 9 Programmable Buttons, Onboard Memory

> 3 dayIve been using the G300 mouse for years. Most of us are used to using navigation buttons reachable by your thumb, so I thought the button placement would be odd. I find the placement fine and just end up using my clicker fingers for those buttons. What I do like the most is that the mouse is pretty much fully programable. You can move it computer to computer if needed and still have the same buttons programed to the same function. Everything is stored internally. I always keep a spare G300, and my previous G300 started double clicking after heavy use. Since my spare is now in service I ended up buying 2 more since they were on sale. Definitely a great mouse for the price!

Greater than one weekWhen it comes to freeing up your left hand, being able to program aim required gadgets or abilities to the mouse is key. This mouse is comfortable, offering multiple easy access top buttons while being extremely lightweight and ambidextrous. This is my favorite mouse I just wish Logitech would create a quality platform with better presentation and update some of the software. I still love this mouse though. Im on my second G300s, been using them since 2018.

> 3 dayIts a great gaming mouse if you dont need a scroll wheel and was really good until that failed after a few months. Very disappointing. The rest of the mouse is still going strong and seems built well enough. I expected the buttons to give out before the scroll. Ive been wearing out mice since the 80s and its usually the buttons that fail first. I cant recommend it and will replace it with a different product. Poorly executed Logitech.

Greater than one weekI got this for my son who is a leftie but was a little worried he might not like it as he just started gaming on his computer and needed a mouse. Well was I ever surprised when he fell in love with it from day one. The grip was perfect for a left handed person and the controls were awesome for game playing. What do you know, Mom does know best!!

> 3 dayI play with an 18 button MMO mouse and I am convinced that this mouse with all the buttons on top is dumb compared to the 12 button thumb style. But that is personal preference and I am opinionated and I stand by my statement that this design is dumb. But my son likes it and this is his second one.

> 3 dayThis is my 2nd one bought, the first one lasted about 2-1/2 years and then buttons wore out. The wheel on this new one turns a bit rough but Im hoping to get used to it rather than return it. I hate to support Logitech because I find their immodest advertising offensive but its a reasonably priced lefty mouse with buttons on top you can hit with the index finger.

> 3 dayI’ve notice playing World of Warcraft that there’s only 2/6 buttons that are mappable. Still great for the price on sale at $14.99.

> 3 dayFirst of all, this is the most ergonomically comfortable mouse Ive ever used. It feels like it was molded for my hand. Id say I have medium to large hands, but very slender; not meaty hands. I still think the mouse would feel good to meat-handed people, though. The second thing I like is the positioning of the extra buttons. Most gaming mice have buttons on the sides so you can press them with your thumb, but pressing buttons with your thumb doesnt have the same natural feel as pressing buttons with your other fingers, in my opinion. Also, Im new to PC gaming, so some of the different keys for Rainbow Six Siege (a first-person shooter) are very difficult for me to use, especially while trying to use other keys as well. For example, if I want to strafe to the right while cooking a grenade, Id have to press D (strafe right) and G (grenade). Well, D and G both require the left index finger to press. I solved this by binding G (grenade) to the top left extra mouse button. Melee (V) was also a difficult key for me to press if I wanted full control of movement, so I binded (bound?) that to the bottom left mouse button. Additionally, pressing 2 to switch to your secondary weapon was too much for me, so I bound that to the top right mouse button. Finally, pressing U for push-to-talk is absurd if I want to just give a quick message to a teammate while moving around, so I bound that to the bottom left mouse button. Its just super convenient, these four extra buttons on top of the mouse rather than on the side of the mouse. It also has plenty of versatility with the DPI settings. Highly recommended. Though keep in mind this is my first gaming mouse, so Im not familiar with how others feel when using them. I just know that if I ever need to replace this one, I will be replacing it with the exact same model.

> 3 dayI like this mouse because it has 3 modes and many programmable buttons. It is symmetric, which is crucial to me as a leftie (I can never find leftie mouse). I wish there was an alternative of this mouse but wireless. Still the cable is long enough, device works great and price is pretty good for the product so I would most certainly buy again.
