20-11-2024I was skeptical of the buttons at first, but because I have so many troubles trying to press buttons on the SIDE of a mouse, I figured Id try this. Its a little tricky to get the hang off but after a while Ive been doing just fine. Definitely an improvement in my in game performance. The mouse itself is NOT weighted (like Im used to) which I cant say I really like, however its tolerable. Ive dropped this thing from couch to floor about six different times (it keeps sliding off my mouse pad next to me) and it still works with no issues. Theres no beating an optical mouse when it comes to gaming. The design of this mouse is odd to me but not unpleasant. Its very comfortable for my hands. The cord is extremely long however, and since Im using a laptop this was an annoyance. I rolled some of it up and tied it together with a twisty tie and problem solved. The only thing (besides weight) I would prefer with this mouse is that the software for it be included in the package. Its not. I have to find it online and download it and with my internet thats a bit of a task. For the price, it wouldnt kill them to include a disk or at least SOME instruction as to where to find the software. Unless I missed it, there was no booklet or anything on the box that tells you where it is. Been using it for a week or so now and its been great. Color options on the mouse are nice as well.

> 3 daySo when gaming I mouse with my left hand and when my Razer Taipan (Ambidextrous) started acting up after years of loyal service, I thought I would given something new a try. The issue I always had with the Razer was that regardless of which hand you use, 2 of buttons are on the pinky side and really got in the way more than they helped. This mouse with all buttons on top gives access to every button regardless of hand being used. Right off the bat, the quality of the build and the material being used is nothing close to the Razer, however the build on this mouse is consistent with a $20ish dollar mouse. No much weight, thin non reinforced chord, more plasticy feel. I am still getting used to the button layout. I like having access to all 4 buttons accessible, but I miss the intuitive availability of buttons I can press with thumb. I am also having to get used to the smaller size of the mouse altogether and find it can cramp my hand. The software suite installs easy enough and gives you good control over the button map, colors, sensitivity. Overall it seems to track well and buttons respond accurately. Its not a bad mouse for the money, but I think I am just used to a more quality unit and will probably return to something higher end.

> 3 daySo as a lefty most ergonomic mice fall into the extra buttons are in exactly the wrong place so my thumb hits them accidentally while using or has no extra buttons. Ive had this for a month or so now and while gaming is far from my greatest concern its fine for the games I do play, has extra buttons that are placed where they arent annoying and I can turn the LED off. I havent dived that deep into programming the buttons yet but some videos have shown this to be a fairly simple process once I do get around to it. Long story short for the $20 I paid for it well worth the coin and Im thinking about grabbing maybe one or a few more.

> 3 dayThis mouse is one of the better ones Ive owned. It is light and is quite responsive. The feature I like best, though, is that it has buttons on top of the mouse to the right and left of the left-click and right-click buttons. These are easy to reach and can be programmed for different functions. For example, Ive programmed mine to open the Start menu, Task switcher and calculator. And I still can increase or decrease mouse sensitivity. And the different colors on the side are cool, too. It has really improved my productivity and efficiency when using the computer. (I am not a gamer. I use this mouse for work.) Plus, its about the only mouse on the market with buttons on the top of the mouse which again I find easier to reach then buttons on the side. As a right-handed person, I wish the mouse was slightly angled to the right to better accommodate my hand, but it is ambidextrous, and I accept the limitation.

Greater than one weekIm a left handed gamer and as all us lefties know, there are no gaming mice made for us. The best available are ambidextrous mice. Which drives me nuts since there is no reason for an ambidextrous mouse. An ambidextrous person could use either a right or left handed mouse. An ambidextrous mouse is just a poor compromise between the two, so why not just make a real left handed mouse? I tied many and while this mouse leaves much to be desired, its probably the best that can be hoped for. At least all the buttons are accessible, if not entirely comfortable. It lacks any thumb buttons, which means all nine buttons are most easily pressed with the index and middle fingers. Some are really quite well placed and comfortable, other not so much. However, it is much faster and easier than using key binds on the keyboard, and that is whats important. Otherwise the mouse is really nice. The software installs easily and is intuitive. The LED color on the side can be changed. Its light, moves smoothy. All buttons feel solid and have a positive response. It works great for gaming as well as les intense internet surfing and word processing. In short, if we cant get everything a righty gets, at least we can get this, and at a great price.

Greater than one weekWorked fine until exactly the 2-year mark. Daily but not overheavy or abusive use. The trigger button under the left-click then started malfunctioning: double-clicking for a single-click; requiring a forceful push to make any click at all. I opened it up to inspect: no dust or grime. Gave up and spent $20 on eBay for an ancient (turn-of-the-century) Logitech MX510, now my third, which I know to be built with quality components!

> 3 dayIve been using the G300 mouse for years. Most of us are used to using navigation buttons reachable by your thumb, so I thought the button placement would be odd. I find the placement fine and just end up using my clicker fingers for those buttons. What I do like the most is that the mouse is pretty much fully programable. You can move it computer to computer if needed and still have the same buttons programed to the same function. Everything is stored internally. I always keep a spare G300, and my previous G300 started double clicking after heavy use. Since my spare is now in service I ended up buying 2 more since they were on sale. Definitely a great mouse for the price!

> 3 dayI like Logitec. The secondary buttons are very close to l/r mouse buttons. Too easy to click those by mistake.
