these mice arntnas reliable as they use to be and wear out easily. I often find the clicker starts going bad right after the warnty is up. they are incrediblely anoying to repair your self and requires removal of the foot pads that you then can not find official replacements for.

I liked the feel of it. It has nice weight when adding the optional weights supplied. Nice look with the LED color changing. Nice curve and works with large hands. I dislike that the mouse jitters and will frequently move too far when Ive stopped the mouse and the cursor continues for a short period of time. I believe it is drivers. The software that took time to find on Logitechs web site has some sort of install for additional software that I didnt need. I tried to find the drivers, but couldnt without going to a third-party site. I cant do that for work. I opened up a support ticket with Logitech but they declined to supply me with a link for the drivers. I broke down and installed their software. Unfortunately, it did not install with an error message. At this point, I think I figured out that the wireless keyboard I have (Logitech as well) was probably the issue. It didnt jitter as much with the keyboard wireless USB dongle disconnected. But I also suspect lack of drivers contributing to the issue. Will not buy again until Logitech allows drivers to be retrieved without downloading additional software which I do not need and Im not allowed to install on my work laptop. If you have plenty of time to troubleshoot and are patient with support tickets and dont have other wireless devices, then this is a good product. Unfortunately for me, this is not a good product. It is a shame because most of my other products from Logitech are very well built and worked well. This one has not.

My only complaint is the fact this is still running a usb micro b. But the new model they have released has usb c. So take that into consideration when buying. It may not hold up as long, only time will tell. Feels great in the hand with custom weights and scroll settings. Id recommend.

If using in conjunction with Logitechs Poweplay charging pad you have to sacrifice the inluded 4gram weights to fit the charging puck. Would have been nice to know this beforehand and with some additional design thought on Logitechs part this limitation could have been avoided. I like a heavier mouse so that was a bummer for me. Scroll wheel feels looser and cheaper than G502 gen 1 mouse I replaced this with and noticably rattles moreso than gen 1 mouse when the clutch is disengaged. Same complaint I have with G502 Hero wired gen 2 mouse I also own. When clutch is disengaged you can marvel at how your web browsers or some games scroll function will start going crazy at random times unless you re-engage the clutch again. Minor complaint since the free scroll wheel feature is why I have three of these mice, but its noticably worse on gen 2+ models. LED logo on mouse is neat, but pointless since you only see it when your not using it. For those of you who want a mouse with led bling, this aint the mouse for you. No change on this from gen to gen. Powerplay pad has the same light up logo that can sync to same color pattern using GHub software. Would have been nice for the pad to have LED around the base like Razr does especially for the price. Wireless charging of the mouse with Powerplay pad works great, so very happy in that regard. My favorite feature is the mouse DPI response time. If you need lightning fast movement, this is the mouse for you! My lord its responsive at high DPI settings. Its unusuable at max settings in my opinion, but some people out there will probably love it. Its even better that its wireless so no more snags on the cord when playing FPS! Overall really love the mouse and highly recommend even with its flaws and quirks.

The clickers are super sensitive and easy to double press or release by accident. The thumb rest probably takes getting used to but I just prefer no thumb rest as I mostly play shooters or play hardcore in mmos and fast movements (flicks) feel super weird and inconsistent feeling when moving right since its an asymmetrical build. The mouse feels like its made of cheap plastic making that the reason for it being light and wireless, rather than high quality plastic made with better materials that make it lighter. The best thing about it was the scroll wheel having the infinite scroll feature the model is famous for. I had forgotten just how in the way logitech software can get as well, and was happy to return it for something that synergized with my keyboard(steelseries apex pro) so that all my software wouldnt have to have a ton of excess software open to keep everything lit up with functioning settings. Something I mentioned in the headline, the mouse is definitely meant for people with long thumbs, and somewhat longer fingers. I use claw grip but my hands are somewhat compact compared to my more Caucasian friends (Im half asian), and while they could reach the thumb buttons fine, my thumb could not even touch the furthest button without letting go of the mouse. Luckily you didnt need that key while playing Overwatch, but still I would prefer to be able to hit every button on my mouse. I feel like Logitech just isnt as far along in quality with their wireless mice as others are. Ive tried all the models so far and they are all cheap knock offs of the wired versions as far as I can feel in comparison.

I bought this mouse to replace a Razor Mamba which was the worst mouse Ive ever used. The difference in quality is insane. I went from a mouse that was unusable on mac, and poorly performant on Windows, to a mouse that couldnt perform better. The customizable weights, the scroll wheel, the position, and function of the buttons, are all perfect. It sits next to, and holds its own with a Swiftpoint Z gaming mouse that cost more than twice as much. I couldnt be happier with this purchase.

As an avid gamer I am always looking for the best of the best when it comes to gaming products. I previously had purchased the Logitech G305 mouse which was an incredible mouse to say the least however it lacked a certain wow factor. I saw the G502 for sale on new years and decided it was time to upgrade. I started using the G502 and instantly fell in love. I would recommend this to any and all gamers.

I bought this almost two years back and it has been great so far. It is good for gaming and for office work. It is easy to change the dpi (dots per inch) as you change your task. The Logitech G Hub, the software the comes with it to customize this mouse is whole another shit show. The ding in the rating is primarily due to that. The software is flaky, it wont load if my company VPN is on. Configuring buttons on the mouse to perform an action requires special education! Seriously Logitech? Overall it is a descent mouse. If you find it for a price range of 60 to 80 you should get it. Cheers!

I have been a fan of this mouse shape ever since I got my first wireless G602 several years ago. For the last few years I have been using a wired G502, but I have grown tired of the wire so I finally decided to go back to the wireless mouse. Since Logitech has a wireless version of the mouse I am most familiar with now, it was the only one worth getting. The good: - Overall the shape fits my hand so nicely, it just feels right. It is my favorite mouse profile I have used. - Weight. I like a heavier mouse, and the wireless G502, like the wired version, it comes with a weight kit so you can add more weight if desired. - Scroll wheel, this is honestly one feature that I can not go without any more. As someone who works with code, being able to switch to a free spinning scroll wheel comes in handy and is just an overall great feature. - Profiles and configurable buttons, but what mouse doesnt have this today. The bad: As great as this mouse is, I do find flaws with it. Mostly centered around their software. - G Hub is overly complicated and not user friendly at all. You also can create an account to sign in, but they dont save your custom profiles to your account which makes me fail to see the purpose of having an account. - Timeout. As expected this mouse does have a timeout feature if the mouse isnt used to save battery... But if you turn your PC off, this mode does not work. The mouse will stay in full operational mode. - Wireless Charging. It feels more like a gimmick with their proprietary charger and connector. If they could have integrated wireless Q charging that is everywhere now, it would actually be useful. Overall I really like the mouse and would likely buy it again if I needed another wireless mouse
