When it works, its great. Ergonomic. Plenty of buttons. Reliable. Nice infinite scroll. But after just under 3 years the actuators for the left and right click buttons have worn out to a point where they are unreliable. This seems to be a known problem. Left and right click / hold / release are now unpredictable. Sometimes it wont register the click, sometimes it wont register the hold, so drag-and-drop gesture will unexpectedly drop, or wont pick up. Doesnt appear to be self-repairable without soldering. The failures come on reasonably quickly once they start. So as soon as you notice clicks, button down, button up, or drag dont work as expected, its time to replace it or try to fix it. After a week or so after initial onset, it becomes unbearable.

Ive been using this mouse for years. Finally picked up the wireless version while it was on sale and it was a steal! Worth every penny. I hot keyed G8 & G7 Keys directly next to left click to lob my grenades in Call Of Duty DMZ. So much faster and they hit almost every single time. Definitely recommend this product. Logitech got it right on this one.

Due to a listing error on Amazons part I ended paying $0 for this mouse. For its current price of $150, its hard to recommend. But I think at a discounted price under $100, its going to be a steal. First off I received the wired version of this initially. The wired version is very good, and I would suggest if this is out of your budget, just buy that one - the difference isnt that noticeable. However the wireless version does feel lighter and smoother and more responsive. Its probably the smoothest, silkiest mouse I have used to date. Even when I have it plugged in for recharging, the cable is hardly noticeable. I came from owning a G500s, which is a fine mouse, but this G502 is just better. The mouse feels more responsive and lighter than my previous one, and other than the mouse scroll wheel feeling a little cheap - its a near perfect mouse. PROS: ° Lightweight ° Very Responsive (16k Hero Sensor) ° Wireless ° Braided Cable ° Fast Charge ° 2 Year Warranty ° Super Smooth ° Battery Indicator ° DPI switch on the fly NEUTRAL: ° Mouse Wheel feels a little cheap sometimes (compared to my G500s which had a heftier feel to it) ° Sniper Button is awkward to use (you have to basically take a second to claw grip the button in order to use it to aim) ° G HUB Software (This has worked 100% perfect for me, but I have read many reviews stating its crashed games etc., Also for some reason I was able to use the old software for the wired version but not for the wireless version) ° RGB (Basically the logo and the indicator light up, thats it - nothing really special. I personally would have liked to see it underneath the mouse to give it a glow effect) ° Depending on the style of mouse and size of your hand, this mouse is more of a claw grip style than a relaxed style. I find this great for graphic design and gaming, but this is 100% dependant on your personal style. CONS: ° Battery is suppose to work for up to 48 hours with standard RGB. After several weeks of use (I work from home so I use my mouse sometimes up to 16 hours per day), I can say that this just isnt true. You will get 2 days or about 30 hours of heavy use with RGB, perhaps I could get closer to the 48 hours if I adjust the RGB luminance? I havent really tested it without the RGB on yet - so it may work wonderfully without RGB. Still its good, and since you can Turbo charge it in 5 minutes, this con may not be a con for most people. ° Uses mini usb for connection in 2019? If you are going to charge 50% more than the next competitor you should at least use the latest standards and not 10 year old standards. I seriously dont understand what they were thinking here. USB C would have made it so easy to plug in my mouse for charging. Now I have to turn on a light, and look at the mouse to make sure I am putting it in the correct way. The cable is tight and will click into place, something I was unaware of when I first started using the mouse and I thought my mouse wasnt charging because it fits snugly into place before the click happens. Overall a fantastic mouse at a price that is totally unreasonable. At $80 -$100, this is a great wireless mouse. At its current price it is just overpriced. Still worth it if money is not an option, or if you get lucky like me. UPDATE: After using the mouse for almost a month now there are a few other things worth mentioning. ° Gaming on FPS the mouse felt heavy, after adjust the balance by adding in weights to the back, it feels near perfect ° The mouse has 5 DPI settings but only 3 LED lights to indicate the settings ° The DPI buttons are a little large and awkward to use on the fly ° I havent had any issues with the mouse and no double clicking - Although I would say you should switch the mouse wheel to the click option when gaming, because its rather easy to accidentally spin the wheel at the most inopportune time. Final Update : After about 6 months of use, the mouse will start double clicking. At first it was minor and seemed to reset itself every time I unplugged the USB. After it got to the point it was impossible to actually do anything without double clicking 50% of the time, I finally contacted Logitech for a fix. After a week or two back and forth with Logitech representative they finally agreed that to replace the mouse - But in the mean time I told them that it usually take about 36 + hours for the issue to kick in (originally it did, now its about 1 minute before it starts to double clicking after resetting the dongle), so their response to that was I should install the mouse on a 2nd computer and see if it did the same thing on that computer. I refused because I am not going to leave my laptop running for 36 hours and my desktop with no mouse at all - just to see if the issue may be my computer - FYI Ive been in IT for over 20 years, its not my computer. So i reinstalled everything, and it went right back to the issue. Then they told me they would need me to record a video of me using the mouse on a website that registered double clicks - supposedly because even though theres 100s of people online with the same exact issue - they didnt believe me. I told them nope, not doing that. I already spent hours (literally 3+ hours) dealing with this broken POS - It appears they just want to try and discourage you as best as possible from returning the broken mouse. Instead of sending me a new replacement immediately (Like Amazon did), I now have to wait 2 to 3 weeks for my replacement, in the meantime I have no mouse so I was forced to purchase a back up mouse which means I dont have the right type of mouse for the work that I do or the games I play - so looks like I wont be playing any games for the next month and work is just hell now dealing with the cheap mouse replacement. So the mouse was fantastic while it worked, but for $150 + cost of backup 2nd mouse + 3 hours time to deal with customer service + loss of productivity etc.. I figure that this mouse cost me upwards of $350 just in time etc.. I can no longer recommend this to anyone. If you do buy this, dont wait until the return period is up on Amazon to return it. Return it the first time you have a problem, and dont sell your old mouse - you are going to need it in the future.

After almost 2 years of use (and abuse) this mousepad is still going strong. I use this with a g502 and the response time is great and have no issues. The pad itself can get scuffed and dirty fairly easily but its not an issue.

When my G700s started to randomly disconnect, I thought it was something with it being wireless, but when it continued that while plugged in, I knew I had to replace it. Battery life had always been an issue for me, but nothing beats a wireless mouse, so for a while, I got my on a standard M310, it was fine, but it lacked the comforts of the multiple buttons (which I actually use inside and outside of games) as well as easily tuning the DPI on the fly. So I took a look around the market, I figured I would have to go back to a wired gaming mouse until I came across PowerPlay. Wireless changing while in use? Sign me up! Now I havent bought the mouse pad yet, but with the current life I am getting out of my mouse, Im wondering if I will even need to. This mouse is better than my old mouse in every way, its so light it almost made me wonder if they had added some helium into it to make it lighter. Its battery life goes on for multiple days and all while having an RBG led on top of it. I dont know how Logitech pulled this off. I will update this (or just review the Powerplay system on that purchase) if I decide to purchase the powerplay, but honestly, I expect this mouse to last me for years. The only issue (though not for me) is if you have large hands, it might be on the small side, but its almost perfect sized for me if I rest my palm further back so Im fine with it.

Day 1 light speed receiver would not connect. Tried to repair them now the mouse and the regular reciever just connect and disconnect constantly. Rebooted still nothing I think the reciever is Doa. Sent back for a 2nd one. Will update. Got my second one In and works amazing loved the wires version and love the wireless better no lag at all. Wish I knew the new version was coming out but couldnt beat the deal. These mice allow you to do so much

I gotta say, this is just about the most brilliant mouse Ive ever used. The wireless response time is astonishing. And it keeps its 1ms response time all the way up to 8 ft. (from what I tested at least - not to mention that it reaches all the way across your average large living room). I like how you can plug the Wi-Fi dongle onto the end of the USB cord to extend it to wherever the cord reaches to. The micro USB to USB cord used for charging it is very durable and extensive. Plus, it also lets you use the mouse in wired mode while charging. Apparently the mouse works with their wireless charging mouse pad, but I havent bothered to get one, so I cant reassure that. The DPI adjustment is perfectly gradient allowing me to adjust the movement speed to a comfortable level on basically any surface (just dont try and use it on a blanket, it doesnt work...). I like the barring lock to the scroll wheel letting change the scroll functionality so I can flick the wheel and use it in smooth scrolling. Plus, the battery monitor built in is nice. The navigation buttons are an added bonus as well. I highly recommend for even professional graphic artists, as I myself use this mouse for graphic art and its PERFECT for it. Apart from the custom lighting built in to the mouse, there is this awesome button for slowing the mouse down to a high-precision mode allowing me to easily make high density vertex edits on 3D graphic design (or for you to do whatever you wanna do with a slow mouse). Then my last fascination is the mini weights they give you so you can weigh down your mouse (which is a feature I actually quite adore). So... Yeah. Fantastic mouse. Its pretty cheap in price considering the features and whatnot. I recommend this mouse over all others.

I use it for games and surfing the Internet, I am quite satisfied. of the minuses, this is an absolutely incomprehensible control program from the manufacturer and the fact that the device wakes up from sleep mode for a few seconds

I bought this to replace my aging Logitech G700s mouse. Im a developer and PC gamer so the mouse has to work well for both. I much prefer the button placement on this one, however, I do have a couple of complaints. The wheel seems to be a bit of a step down. Overall, the mouse is very light, and the new wheel design is as well. Unfortunately, the detents for the wheel in click mode are nearly two to three times as strong as the G700s. I guess this is good for gaming where you need positive feedback of each wheel motion, but its extremely jarring in everyday use. The amount of force required to move the wheel overcomes the lightness of the mouse resulting in mouse movements while trying to scroll. Its bad enough that I always switch back to free spin outside of games and even in games when accessing menus, reading screens, etc. I never had to do this with my G700s. Second, the mouse is way too light for me. Its had to hold stationary for detailed work and requires that I ramp down the DPI quite often to help steady it. The mouse comes with interchangeable weights but these is a gotcha with this. If you use the mouse in conjunction with the Powerplay wireless charging pad, the wireless charging unit doesnt have spaces for the weights. They dont mention this anywhere, but it precludes you from installing the two largest weights that would normally go in the battery cover. I think the mouse would be fine for me if I could use those weights. This is a HUGE design oversight on Logitechs part. Third, Logitechs G-Hub software is buggy and a major downgrade from the previous Gaming Software. Settings are frequently lost, particularly with the RGB sync between the pad and the mouse. There are times where G-Hub will stop recognizing the devices requiring a reboot. Logitech has never been known for quality software (Harmony, Gaming Software, drivers, etc.) but G-Hub is spectacularly bad. Overall, Im really pleased with it other than the above and coupled with the Powerplay pad, its a fantastic addition to my system.
