My only complaint is the fact this is still running a usb micro b. But the new model they have released has usb c. So take that into consideration when buying. It may not hold up as long, only time will tell. Feels great in the hand with custom weights and scroll settings. Id recommend.

Works as expected, my one annoyance perhaps is when not in use for 15 minutes or so, the sensitivity jumps up to the limit! But goes back to what it was set at in seconds.

When the G903 came out, I was pretty stoked. Lots of new technology and promise all packed into one platform, and great reviews. It turns out that no matter how good a mouse is, one compromise can turn it into a nightmare. It also turns out that if you put switches into a mouse that quickly start double-firing is pretty bad too, but I digress. The compromise that ruined the G903 for me was making it ambidextrous. What? you say, thats not a bad thing! Well, I reply, take your hands, and lay them on a flat surface in front of you, and relax. What do you feel? Unless you are not built like most, youll find that the weight of your hand rests more on one side of your palm; Left side for the left, and right side for the right. So, when you make a mouse ambidextrous, you make a mouse with a symmetric profile. It didnt take long before I realized that I wasnt going to be able to keep my hand on the mouse in a gaming hold for very long before cramps started in. It was like having someone twist my wrist. So, despite the great stuff they put into this thing, it would have been infinitely better to create a left and right handed version. Enter the revamped G502! My corded version of this mouse is still in use in my household more than a decade after I first bought it, but Im looking for a wireless mouse for reasons I need not go into. I can say now that they seem to have brought all the good stuff from the G903 to the G502 Hero Lightspeed. The wheel that used to bug me because it was so stiff on the first G502 now feels much more like the G903. Its even a bit easier to spin and side-click. The DPI buttons (which are still in an awkward place, which is why its still just near perfection) are no longer mushy, so thats a plus, and of course its wireless, has the updated sensors, will work on my Lightspeed mat, and, just for the shiny factor, had a full RGB logo. The parts that made this mouse the most popular gaming mouse (Logitech IMHO EVER made) are still there. So, when, my gamer friends, you are trying to pick between the two, let me urge you to save yourself what may be a hundred dollar mistake, and pass the G903 over for the reliable old G502 form with the new G903 technology built in. Youll thank me later.

Due to a listing error on Amazons part I ended paying $0 for this mouse. For its current price of $150, its hard to recommend. But I think at a discounted price under $100, its going to be a steal. First off I received the wired version of this initially. The wired version is very good, and I would suggest if this is out of your budget, just buy that one - the difference isnt that noticeable. However the wireless version does feel lighter and smoother and more responsive. Its probably the smoothest, silkiest mouse I have used to date. Even when I have it plugged in for recharging, the cable is hardly noticeable. I came from owning a G500s, which is a fine mouse, but this G502 is just better. The mouse feels more responsive and lighter than my previous one, and other than the mouse scroll wheel feeling a little cheap - its a near perfect mouse. PROS: ° Lightweight ° Very Responsive (16k Hero Sensor) ° Wireless ° Braided Cable ° Fast Charge ° 2 Year Warranty ° Super Smooth ° Battery Indicator ° DPI switch on the fly NEUTRAL: ° Mouse Wheel feels a little cheap sometimes (compared to my G500s which had a heftier feel to it) ° Sniper Button is awkward to use (you have to basically take a second to claw grip the button in order to use it to aim) ° G HUB Software (This has worked 100% perfect for me, but I have read many reviews stating its crashed games etc., Also for some reason I was able to use the old software for the wired version but not for the wireless version) ° RGB (Basically the logo and the indicator light up, thats it - nothing really special. I personally would have liked to see it underneath the mouse to give it a glow effect) ° Depending on the style of mouse and size of your hand, this mouse is more of a claw grip style than a relaxed style. I find this great for graphic design and gaming, but this is 100% dependant on your personal style. CONS: ° Battery is suppose to work for up to 48 hours with standard RGB. After several weeks of use (I work from home so I use my mouse sometimes up to 16 hours per day), I can say that this just isnt true. You will get 2 days or about 30 hours of heavy use with RGB, perhaps I could get closer to the 48 hours if I adjust the RGB luminance? I havent really tested it without the RGB on yet - so it may work wonderfully without RGB. Still its good, and since you can Turbo charge it in 5 minutes, this con may not be a con for most people. ° Uses mini usb for connection in 2019? If you are going to charge 50% more than the next competitor you should at least use the latest standards and not 10 year old standards. I seriously dont understand what they were thinking here. USB C would have made it so easy to plug in my mouse for charging. Now I have to turn on a light, and look at the mouse to make sure I am putting it in the correct way. The cable is tight and will click into place, something I was unaware of when I first started using the mouse and I thought my mouse wasnt charging because it fits snugly into place before the click happens. Overall a fantastic mouse at a price that is totally unreasonable. At $80 -$100, this is a great wireless mouse. At its current price it is just overpriced. Still worth it if money is not an option, or if you get lucky like me. UPDATE: After using the mouse for almost a month now there are a few other things worth mentioning. ° Gaming on FPS the mouse felt heavy, after adjust the balance by adding in weights to the back, it feels near perfect ° The mouse has 5 DPI settings but only 3 LED lights to indicate the settings ° The DPI buttons are a little large and awkward to use on the fly ° I havent had any issues with the mouse and no double clicking - Although I would say you should switch the mouse wheel to the click option when gaming, because its rather easy to accidentally spin the wheel at the most inopportune time. Final Update : After about 6 months of use, the mouse will start double clicking. At first it was minor and seemed to reset itself every time I unplugged the USB. After it got to the point it was impossible to actually do anything without double clicking 50% of the time, I finally contacted Logitech for a fix. After a week or two back and forth with Logitech representative they finally agreed that to replace the mouse - But in the mean time I told them that it usually take about 36 + hours for the issue to kick in (originally it did, now its about 1 minute before it starts to double clicking after resetting the dongle), so their response to that was I should install the mouse on a 2nd computer and see if it did the same thing on that computer. I refused because I am not going to leave my laptop running for 36 hours and my desktop with no mouse at all - just to see if the issue may be my computer - FYI Ive been in IT for over 20 years, its not my computer. So i reinstalled everything, and it went right back to the issue. Then they told me they would need me to record a video of me using the mouse on a website that registered double clicks - supposedly because even though theres 100s of people online with the same exact issue - they didnt believe me. I told them nope, not doing that. I already spent hours (literally 3+ hours) dealing with this broken POS - It appears they just want to try and discourage you as best as possible from returning the broken mouse. Instead of sending me a new replacement immediately (Like Amazon did), I now have to wait 2 to 3 weeks for my replacement, in the meantime I have no mouse so I was forced to purchase a back up mouse which means I dont have the right type of mouse for the work that I do or the games I play - so looks like I wont be playing any games for the next month and work is just hell now dealing with the cheap mouse replacement. So the mouse was fantastic while it worked, but for $150 + cost of backup 2nd mouse + 3 hours time to deal with customer service + loss of productivity etc.. I figure that this mouse cost me upwards of $350 just in time etc.. I can no longer recommend this to anyone. If you do buy this, dont wait until the return period is up on Amazon to return it. Return it the first time you have a problem, and dont sell your old mouse - you are going to need it in the future.

I got this primarily for work. I do a lot of data mining and data entry, so I copy/paste and use my browser a lot. Id been using the wired version for a long time and wanted to upgrade to something easier to carry around since I walk around a lot at work as well. This has the classic infinity scroll button thats satisfying to use and makes scrolling quick and easy, and if you pair it with the desktop app you can customize pretty much everything about the way it functions. I have buttons set to work as copy and paste, back and forward browser buttons, and a control alt delete shortcut button for when excel gets too spicy for my bottom-tier office laptop and it locks up. I do also occasionally use this for gaming and it works very well, but I primarily bought it for office use and its made life much easier for me. Battery life is solid too, I get about a month of use at 12 hours a day out of it, and when I do need to charge it I can still use it while its plugged in (though full charging only takes an hour or so even if youre using it at the same time). Highly recommend for anyone whose work life would improve with shortcut buttons.

I love almost everything about this mouse, I had the gpro wireless for years got this one because I wanted a mouse with more configurable buttons. It delivers in every way except the scroll wheel. The scroll wheel has two mechanical settings which can be switched back and forth using the button directly below the wheel. The first setting is for gaming and provides a very tactical scroll which I love for fps games. The second setting allows the scroll wheel to have zero resistance so that you can quickly scroll through web pages. I actually think this two setting design is a great idea. The problem is that the zero resistance scroll setting will scroll without me touching the mouse. I will be watching a YouTube video and not even touching my mouse, keyboard or desk, and all the sudden it will scroll me to the bottom of the web page. I believe this is happening because the scroll wheel is not perfectly balanced for whatever reason. So if I ever stop scrolling with the heaviest part of the wheel at the top, it is a given that it will scroll without being directed to. That is poor manufacturing on Logitechs part which pains me to say because I love this mouse in every other way and many of their other products. I will also say that Logitechs GHub software is great (been using it for years)when it works properly. Great customization and macro options. But I have had plenty of issues with it crashing or not updating and resulting in me having to uninstall and reinstall. But still probably better than their competitors.

Im not too serious about gaming performance and how you need a certain mouse to play shooters and all that. I use this mouse for general use. There is no wireless charging for this mouse! It comes with a few weights as well. Its very comfortable in my hand and my wrist doesnt ache as much as my older mouse (razer). You can definitely customize your preferences through the app on your computer (the app is pretty lackluster though). Its great to play my PC in bed or on the couch and it works well on non flat surfaces. I can even use it on my leg if I wanted to. For the price I got, this is well worth the investment.
