> 3 dayThe logitech g502 lightspeed is a very good mouse stand alone, but i hate having a teather connected to my mouse so I had bought the powerplay to make this much more convenient to use, The powerplay first gives you slightly faster response to your computer, that there is a plus in of itself. The charging also eliminates all other wires that you would have to use to charge it itself. All in all, the powerplay is a ver good investment with this mouse. Now about the mouse itself, it is a great size for users who like larger mouses. The weight, well, its acceptable for someone who like the heavier mouses and the included weights are a great option. The general shape and feel in the hand is great, ver comfortable for long periods of time. The button lay outs and free scroll wheel is very amazing, not to many, not to little, a perfect mix. Finally the mouse is amazing but can be improved in some areas.

> 3 dayI have owned every MX mouse Logitech has put out and have been very happy with them. I did want to try the extra buttons and programming available from this mouse. The custom programming is pretty good, Im able to do some things like Id hoped to, and the macros are great. I dont use this for gaming though. The overall feel of the mouse is cheap. The mouse wheel is the worst Ive ever seen on any mouse at any price, inaccurate, rough and its just bad. Considering other brands are half the price, this was a let down. The weights are a cool idea, even though its been dropped in the newer and plus versions. I bought this refurbished and saved a bit and if not for that I would definitely return it and make do with my MX Masters. If logitech could simple refine the software across all products, and give us the same quality of the MX series with the programming of this one, it would be something Id buy. If youre expecting the quality feel of the MX series, this aint it.

Greater than one weekExcellent mouse so far. Use it for gaming mainly and it replaced an old wired Logitech gaming mouse Id had for many years. Only reason I changed from my old mouse was to go wireless so it looks cleaner on my desk. So I bought this mouse and the G915 keyboard. Love how they easily sync with each other. So far the battery life seems to be really great.

Greater than one weekDay 1 light speed receiver would not connect. Tried to repair them now the mouse and the regular reciever just connect and disconnect constantly. Rebooted still nothing I think the reciever is Doa. Sent back for a 2nd one. Will update. Got my second one In and works amazing loved the wires version and love the wireless better no lag at all. Wish I knew the new version was coming out but couldnt beat the deal. These mice allow you to do so much

> 3 daySo I have both the wired and wireless version of this mouse and I love it. Its comfortable to hold and adding the weights gave it just enough to where its easier for me to aim. The Wireless G502 also mixes well with the Powerplay pad basicly eliminates the battery issues.

Greater than one weekAs an avid gamer I am always looking for the best of the best when it comes to gaming products. I previously had purchased the Logitech G305 mouse which was an incredible mouse to say the least however it lacked a certain wow factor. I saw the G502 for sale on new years and decided it was time to upgrade. I started using the G502 and instantly fell in love. I would recommend this to any and all gamers.

> 3 dayIve tried 15+ different mice in the last few years. It would be a bigger number if I wanted to collect them, but I mainly just try to buy the best small to medium-ish ultralight mice in search of my endgame. Wont buy a mouse without seeing reviews first anymore. However, I did main the old wired G502 for a long time before I became a snob. I still like the G502 shape, scroll wheel, and button layout very much despite the fact that its not going to help me get high scores in aim trainers. The disadvantages caused by the weight and shape are somewhat, but not totally, made up for by the added functionality of the extra buttons, which are also fantastic for productivity. This is an overall solid product with only a few minor flaws that kept me from giving it a perfect score. The good: 1. Weight is noticeably reduced compared to the wired version. 2. The button layout every G502 fan fawns over is now on a wireless mouse. And its genuinely a great button layout. 3. Its wireless, obviously. 4. Top-tier sensor. 5. Excellent battery life. 6. Infinite scroll wheel go brrrrr The bad: 1. Standard black teflon mouse feet. Not the worst Ive seen, but Logitech does have a reputation for putting sh*tty feet on great mice. They at least improved this on the Superlight, but even those were still too thin. These arent bad, but they could be better. 2. Click feel is substantially worse compared to the old G502. Switches are clearly not the same. Honestly wouldve been tempted to give this mouse 5 stars if it werent for the clicks. They arent heavy and ultra tactile like they were before. Theyre light and standard-feeling now, which isnt a deal-breaker by any stretch, but its disappointing. 3. Price. You have to get this thing for less than $100 or it simply isnt worth it. Its a step up from the wired G502 but not to the point of it being worth 3 times as much. Even at a $95 sale price, thats still pushing it. Summary: youre sacrificing click feel and money to improve weight, obtain a nicer scroll wheel, and rid yourself of the atrocity that is the original G502 cable. Youre also getting great battery life and excellent, low-latency wireless tech. Its a good mouse, but its hard to say its worth triple the amount of its predecessor, especially if you can replace mouse cables. Do not pay more than $100 for this mouse.

> 3 dayI was recommended this mouse by a friend who took the time to research office equipment and all I can say this is exactly what I was looking for. Works well with both video games and office work as you can adjust the speed of the cursor whenever you want. It also adds some life to my office setup since it has LED lights that change color every second! I wouldnt worry about battery life either because the mouse automatically turns off after a couple of minutes of not being used. Definitely would recommend if you are looking for a mouse that can be used for both work and gaming.

Greater than one weekThe ONLY reason for 2 stars is because Logitech FORCES you to use G Hub with the Lightspeed. 3 stars for gaming because I do interact with the software throughout playing to fine tune the mouse. LOVE the G502 LS itself! Gamed 6 hours every night (with all lights on and at max), after 3 nights battery was low but still not even at the warning limit (last 15%). Also love the free moving scroll wheel that goes on forever, incredibly helpful when going through pages of documents or scrolling through web sites. I love the number of buttons and button layout. However, the mouse is ONLY compatible with newer G Hub software, not like the Proteus Spectrum that uses Logitech Gaming Software (LGS), and G Hub is SOOOOOO bad, it truly boggles the mind how something so bad can STILL to this day be used... forced on customers when any moron can tell how bad the layout and functions of the software are. Completely unintuitive UI. Needless going from one end of the menu to the other trying to simply turn something on then off. Confusing menu layout. Confusing instructions. More complicated key binding menu (than LGS). Bug since the day G Hub came out where attaching an app/game exe to a profile will NOT trigger the profile when you run the app/game, and if you manually switch to the game profile you want (while in G Hub) it doesnt matter because as soon as your mouse pointer leaves the G Hub window itll go back to the Desktop/Default profile (this includes Alt-Tabbing), the only way to bypass this is to set the profile you want to use as persistent, but then you have to manually turn it off when you exit the game/app, ...and still TO THIS DAY theres no patch to this. The thing that really makes this worse is that now that you installed G Hub any other Logitech peripherals you have will be FORCED to use G Hub and not LGS that was SOOOO MUCH better, by miles, above G Hub. And when G Hub asks you to import profiles when installing G Hub, it doesnt import individual key bindings, lighting configuration, or per profile DPI settings. And if you try to run LGS just so you can bring up the key binding profile so you can at least see your mouse game profiles to copy, you getting a message that you have to use G Hub. It literally is enough to make you NOT want to get such a great mouse, just so you dont have to put up with such a badly designed piece of software. And dont think an update is on the horizon to fix even some of the problems, its been like this since day one of the G Hub release, and my understanding is future Logitech products will be using G Hub. So, unless you really have the money to burn AND you have the patience of a saint (truly), then think about sticking with another Logitech device that doesnt use G Hub like the Proteus Spectrum, same exact mouse but with a cord. I actually need cordless because my mouse pad sits on a pullout shelf under my PC desk so I cant even use a mouse cord bungie, and the cord is fraying up my mouse pad edges as well as feeling the cord pulling on the mouse. G Hub really, REALLY, makes me want to return the Lightspeed just so I didnt have to put up with it, but I DO need it because of the cordless aspect. Corsair has a mouse with a lot of buttons but theyre all in one little area and my thumbs are a little big so thats out of the question. Bottom line, Lightspeed comes with G Hub. Read up on what customers think of G Hub, ask a friend that uses it, ask a teacher, ask a friend online, ...then ask yourself if you have the patience of Mother Teresa, and make your decision. If you buy one, inquire about return policy beforehand, hold on to the packaging, the receipt, and keep it in mint condition, just in case you decide to hold on to your sanity instead of the Lightspeed.

> 3 dayI got this primarily for work. I do a lot of data mining and data entry, so I copy/paste and use my browser a lot. Id been using the wired version for a long time and wanted to upgrade to something easier to carry around since I walk around a lot at work as well. This has the classic infinity scroll button thats satisfying to use and makes scrolling quick and easy, and if you pair it with the desktop app you can customize pretty much everything about the way it functions. I have buttons set to work as copy and paste, back and forward browser buttons, and a control alt delete shortcut button for when excel gets too spicy for my bottom-tier office laptop and it locks up. I do also occasionally use this for gaming and it works very well, but I primarily bought it for office use and its made life much easier for me. Battery life is solid too, I get about a month of use at 12 hours a day out of it, and when I do need to charge it I can still use it while its plugged in (though full charging only takes an hour or so even if youre using it at the same time). Highly recommend for anyone whose work life would improve with shortcut buttons.
