> 3 dayThe left mouse button makes quite a bit of noise. Its definitely noticeable. You wont be able to use this if somebody else is sleeping. However, if noise is not an issue, this is truly a fantastic mouse in every category.

> 3 dayI got this primarily for work. I do a lot of data mining and data entry, so I copy/paste and use my browser a lot. Id been using the wired version for a long time and wanted to upgrade to something easier to carry around since I walk around a lot at work as well. This has the classic infinity scroll button thats satisfying to use and makes scrolling quick and easy, and if you pair it with the desktop app you can customize pretty much everything about the way it functions. I have buttons set to work as copy and paste, back and forward browser buttons, and a control alt delete shortcut button for when excel gets too spicy for my bottom-tier office laptop and it locks up. I do also occasionally use this for gaming and it works very well, but I primarily bought it for office use and its made life much easier for me. Battery life is solid too, I get about a month of use at 12 hours a day out of it, and when I do need to charge it I can still use it while its plugged in (though full charging only takes an hour or so even if youre using it at the same time). Highly recommend for anyone whose work life would improve with shortcut buttons.

> 3 dayThe mouse LOVES to collect animal hair in the sensor. I used to use a Razer Mamba wireless mouse, which never had this problem. I have two cats, they shed as cats tend to do, not terribly but a bit. However, it seems even just the smallest amount of hair and this mouse goes nuts. It is easy to clean, you can just remove the bottom covering and wipe both the covering and sensor area off and it works fine. But never had this issue with my razer mouse, it just didnt pick up hair like this one does. When hair does get caught in the mouse, anytime I pick the mouse up off the mouse pad the cursor goes all over the place. Makes it impossible to use until I remove the bottom panel and clean it. Always seems to happen at the most inopportune times too. Aside from that the mouse works great. Very responsive, feels great in the hand. I like that you can adjust its weight. But the cat hair problem is super annoying. I do not recommend this mouse for pet owners.

> 3 dayI use it for games and surfing the Internet, I am quite satisfied. of the minuses, this is an absolutely incomprehensible control program from the manufacturer and the fact that the device wakes up from sleep mode for a few seconds

> 3 dayI bought this to replace my aging Logitech G700s mouse. Im a developer and PC gamer so the mouse has to work well for both. I much prefer the button placement on this one, however, I do have a couple of complaints. The wheel seems to be a bit of a step down. Overall, the mouse is very light, and the new wheel design is as well. Unfortunately, the detents for the wheel in click mode are nearly two to three times as strong as the G700s. I guess this is good for gaming where you need positive feedback of each wheel motion, but its extremely jarring in everyday use. The amount of force required to move the wheel overcomes the lightness of the mouse resulting in mouse movements while trying to scroll. Its bad enough that I always switch back to free spin outside of games and even in games when accessing menus, reading screens, etc. I never had to do this with my G700s. Second, the mouse is way too light for me. Its had to hold stationary for detailed work and requires that I ramp down the DPI quite often to help steady it. The mouse comes with interchangeable weights but these is a gotcha with this. If you use the mouse in conjunction with the Powerplay wireless charging pad, the wireless charging unit doesnt have spaces for the weights. They dont mention this anywhere, but it precludes you from installing the two largest weights that would normally go in the battery cover. I think the mouse would be fine for me if I could use those weights. This is a HUGE design oversight on Logitechs part. Third, Logitechs G-Hub software is buggy and a major downgrade from the previous Gaming Software. Settings are frequently lost, particularly with the RGB sync between the pad and the mouse. There are times where G-Hub will stop recognizing the devices requiring a reboot. Logitech has never been known for quality software (Harmony, Gaming Software, drivers, etc.) but G-Hub is spectacularly bad. Overall, Im really pleased with it other than the above and coupled with the Powerplay pad, its a fantastic addition to my system.

Greater than one weekI got this mouse to replace my g602, and don’t regret it. Ergonomics and Feel: I have large hands, and this mouse fits very well in my hand. It is slightly larger than the g602, so may be a bit too large for someone with smaller hands. The plastic has a quality feel, and the textured rubber on the sides adds grip and a pleasant feel. I like the thumb rest on the side, though some may not. The mouse moves very smoothly. One reviewer mentioned the texturing on the bottom being issue, but I have not experienced this at all. Overall: this mouse is very comfortable. Switches and Buttons: The L & R mouse buttons are nice and clicky, but not obnoxiously loud. The mouse wheel can switch between free spinning and notched modes, which is great. However, the wheel itself feels a bit loose. The clicks on the wheel (middle, left, and right) all feel nice and clicky. There DPI buttons also feel nice, as does the top button which displays battery level via the RGB lights. The side buttons, however, feel a little mushy. Not terribly mushy, but mushier than I would like. All of the buttons are re-mappable via the G-Hub software, which I’ll discuss further down. Overall: I like the feel of the switches, though the side buttons could be clickier. Additional Features: The mouse is rechargeable, which can be a pro or a con. I like being able to swap out batteries (I have rechargeable ones anyway), but the lack of something like AA means the mouse is a bit lighter. The included charging cable is braided and feels quality, however, which is a nice plus. Battery life on this is just ok. It needs to be recharged about every 5 days, which is acceptable, but not exceptional. On the weight, this mouse allows you to swap out weights in the mouse to adjust the feel. I really like this feature, and the covers over the weights are magnetic and thus easily accessible. The mouse features adjustable DPI via two buttons up top, which is a huge plus in my book. The DPI settings can also be adjusted via G-Hub, and you can even set how much each button press increases or decreases DPI. The mouse has minimal RGB, which is a plus for me. I do like that the RGB can display battery level as well. The sensor on this mouse is also fantastic. There’s no noticeable lag, and the mouse responds very smoothly. Overall: This mouse comes with some really great features, though it being rechargeable could be seen as a pro or a con depending on your situation. Software: A lot of people really hate G-Hub, but I’ve not had any issues with it. Perhaps it used to be buggier and more problematic before, but it works great for me now. It’s easy to adjust RGB settings, set up macros, bind buttons, and manage your mouse. The mouse also has onboard memory, so if you really want to you can set up the mouse with the software and then uninstall it. I personally don’t mind G-Hub though. It’s got a clean UI and is easy to use. It does what it needs to. I also like that you can set different profiles for the mouse with it (e.g. game specific bindings). Is there better software out there than G-Hub? Sure. But I really don’t understand the absolute hatred for this software, as I haven’t personally experienced it being that bad.

> 3 dayThe Logitech g hub software is terrible, it takes a few seconds for the mouse to wake up and switch to the DPI settings it was set to, the only “fix” is by switching it to the on-board memory mode. This bug alone completely ruined my experience with this mouse. Also, it still uses usb micro b in 2022….. come on Logitech, you can do better. Update after about a week of usage: ******************************************************************************** Keep in mind I am comparing this mouse to my MX Master 3 So, its being evaluated as productivity and light gaming mouse ******************************************************************************** The good: decently comfortable for my large hand, good sensor and satisfying clicks. It is definitely 200% better at gaming than my mx master 3. The ergonomic is decent, not bad, however I much prefer the mx master 3. Charging time is decent, and battery life is not bad too. The bad (things that I dont like): the scroll wheel is terrible in comparison to the mx master 3, you have to manually switch between the ratcheting scroll and infinity scroll with a physical button, they shouldve used the adaptive infinity scroll wheel on the mx master 3. Also I sure miss the side scroll wheel and the thumb button on the side. Also no Bluetooth and the bug I mentioned previously is annoying. Overall, my conclusion is while g502 lightspeed is a great gaming mouse, mx master 3 is still a significantly better productivity mouse (duh, obviously). An mx master with the guts of a g502 lightspeed would be the perfect mouse for me, Id love to see a performance version of mx master in the future.

Greater than one weekThe last two g502s my partner got fell victim to our puppies. He finally agreed to get a wireless mouse even though there can be some lag. Hopefully its nothing too noticeable to him. He loves the button set up of this mouse :)
