The clickers are super sensitive and easy to double press or release by accident. The thumb rest probably takes getting used to but I just prefer no thumb rest as I mostly play shooters or play hardcore in mmos and fast movements (flicks) feel super weird and inconsistent feeling when moving right since its an asymmetrical build. The mouse feels like its made of cheap plastic making that the reason for it being light and wireless, rather than high quality plastic made with better materials that make it lighter. The best thing about it was the scroll wheel having the infinite scroll feature the model is famous for. I had forgotten just how in the way logitech software can get as well, and was happy to return it for something that synergized with my keyboard(steelseries apex pro) so that all my software wouldnt have to have a ton of excess software open to keep everything lit up with functioning settings. Something I mentioned in the headline, the mouse is definitely meant for people with long thumbs, and somewhat longer fingers. I use claw grip but my hands are somewhat compact compared to my more Caucasian friends (Im half asian), and while they could reach the thumb buttons fine, my thumb could not even touch the furthest button without letting go of the mouse. Luckily you didnt need that key while playing Overwatch, but still I would prefer to be able to hit every button on my mouse. I feel like Logitech just isnt as far along in quality with their wireless mice as others are. Ive tried all the models so far and they are all cheap knock offs of the wired versions as far as I can feel in comparison.

Came from a Roccat Leadr and always viewed Logitech as the premier mouse authority. Been a while since I owned anything Logitech and looks like Roccat and other manufacturers are really doing a great job. This mouse is NOT heads and tails above anything else out there - it definitely fits in with the pack. My requirements: 1. 4 thumb buttons (or a wheel). If this doesnt exist, then 2 thumb buttons with a shift/function key. 2. Configurable - can reprogram any of the buttons. 3. Wireless 4. ~10 buttons. More is fine, less, not so much 5. Ergonomic Lets start with some gripes: 1. I dont have huge hands, but this is narrower than Im used to. I frequently click the right-click button when resting my hand on it due to the shape/size. 2. The battery life stinks. Almost forces me to get the mousepad, which I hear IS super cool. But I have an XXXL steelseries pad that I like and use. 3. Cant remap the mousewheel up/down, only remapping when its depressed. 4. RGB modes super limited. 5. Since it has built in game profiles, cant manually select modes. Im not sure if this is a con, my last mouse could change on the fly or in the game and it seemed to be inconsistent - at least this one is not. 6. The DPI lighting makes a HUGE impact on battery life - turning off nearly triples capabilities - but now its off... 7. The software takes time to load and the mouse moves very slowly across the screen until the software loads. Would be nice to put these configs in the mouse, but have to wait for the software to load. Now for the good: 1. Its very responsive - no issues with lag, or sensor. 2. Can modify the weight. Turns out, Im a heavy mouse kind of guy. 3. Shift button - its not my favorite location, but I do need a shift button. Glad its there. 4. Can go crazy with DPI speeds - there are several. 5. Searches and identifies games on your PC. Frequently used functions are part of the game mapping. 6. Buttons are responsive and no double-clicking. I REALLY considered the Razer Basilisk and opted for the Logitech due to their reputation, but Im not so sure I made the right decision. I suppose if this one goes belly up in the next few months, Ill try that one, but gonna stick with this one for a while.

This is a great mouse for gaming, it’s very responsive and I have no complaints about its functionality. However, when I originally bought this mouse 3 months ago I only used it plugged in. I recently tried to use the wireless dongle and kept getting a USB malfunction error regardless of the computer I try it on, meaning I had no wireless capability. Turns out I had a defective wireless usb adapter right out of the box. After searching online it seemed I wasn’t going to have much luck with support from Logitech and it was too late to return it. Thankfully I was able to find a replacement receiver with next day shipping for $20 and use the Logitech app to pair it with my mouse

I have been using this mouse for quite some time now, so much so that I dont think I could go back to any other mouse. When I first got this mouse I opted to use it wireless because that was my main way of using peripherals. But this mouse simply doesnt hold a charge for long. After only one day of using it, it would constantly prompt me to charge it, over and over again. It got to the point where I just gave up and now have it hard wired to the computer, a feature that would have saved me 100 bucks if I just bought the wired version of this mouse. Overall, I would recommend this mouse, but only the wired version unless you really love charging things.

Rechargeable is great. Superfast draining if you use ANY RGB is not. Bought this to replace my Razer Bailisk after 4 G602s. It is much better than the wireless Basilisk. Not the improvement youd expect for 3 times the price of a G602. The most improved is the toggleable scroll wheel. Other than that, the construction seems slightly flimsy when compared to my venerable G602. Its a good mouse, especially if you can stick with the wired version when on sale.
