> 24 hourI was able to use this to control two lamps I have. I can plug in a 2-prong plug at the top of my outlet, but I would NOT recommend trying to force a 3-prong plug. Other than the plug issue, I would recommend this for your low power drawing appliances, I have not tried this out with my kitchen appliances.

> 24 hourSecond time to order these remote control outlets. They work exactly as I hoped to provide control of additional lighting in my garage. It was easy to pair the additional outlet to the remote control I already used for the first set of outlets. Batteries that came with my original remote are still going strong and I like being able to simply remove the remote to carry it with me.

> 24 hourI bought this product so I did not have to keep crawling under my desk at work to turn my space heater on and off. It fit the bill perfect. So much easier having the on and off button magnetically attached above the desk top. My co-workers were jealous. I would not be surprised if they are purchasing them for themselves.

> 24 hourI’ve got an ancient Tiffany style lamp with pull cords and one of the sockets is loose. You pull the cord, you pull the socket out of the lamp. With this handy dandy remote setup I can still use my favorite lamp without damaging it or my fingers. WIN!

> 24 hourWow I am impressed!! What a great product, I installed lighting in my kitchen cabinets, For cable/cords management the power plugs I used is inside the cabinet above the microwave. I needed to add a switch for control and came across this baby!! It works perfect even with the cabinet doors closed it works.

> 24 hourI have a storage closet that had the old fashioned pull-chain ceiling light in it, which I did not like at all. It would be a lot of work and expense to have an electrician wire it to a wall switch. I had purchased not one but eventually two of the pricey GE brand remote switches. The first one failed in about a years time, and the second one eventually failed as well. (After replacing the battery in both thinking that was the problem) They were junk. I bought this and it has worked beautifully and has a much better design. The screw-in light socket is shorter (the GE socket was quite long and after adding a light bulb it hung down lower in the closet and the bulb would get bumped.) The on/off buttons on this are a simple light press with your finger instead of the rocker type on the GE product. They are more electronic than mechanical and seem to work much more efficiently. It gets a lot of use as I am in and out of this area a lot. The round disc type of switch on this product is a bit different. So, I bought a metal switch plate at Home Depot and the switch, which has magnets on the back, sticks to that. It also comes with some adhesive mounting squares, which I could have just stuck on the wall, but Im not a fan of those. This works perfectly and looks nice on the wall, like an upscale, designer wall switch. It is also very easy to change out the disc battery when the time comes. The back just rotates off. I have since purchased two of the remote plug version, for some other areas around my home where I just wanted a convenient on/off wall switch to control some lighting. I like that each one has a unique code so they dont interfere with each other at all. The remotes also have great range. All in all, this is an excellent product that I would highly recommend.

> 24 hourI used this for indoor Christmas lights, and it was perfect! I just plugged them all into the plug, and I could turn them on and off with the touch of a button.
