> 3 dayThis product didnt include the full kit as shown in the picture, but rather a more contractor-oriented package including just the remote, remote mount, switch itself, and some screws/wire nuts. No switch plate was included. Kinda unhappy I need to go out and buy one separately.

> 3 dayI purchased cheap versions of the Lutron switches because I wanted to make my light system smart but not at the high prices Lutron charges. Boy, was that a mistake. I ran into numerous issues ranging from poor hardware quality, to software compatibility issues, etc. Lutrons not cheap but you get what you pay for. Every switch works quickly and flawlessly and the app is simple to use and is fast. Dont waste your money on cheap knock-offs. These are quality switches with an app that Lutron updates regularly so you wont be stranded with a bunch of bricked switches from the cheap guys. I had to learn this lesson the hard way.

> 3 dayi have three of these caseta switches in our house. It’s convenient to program the lights to operate on a schedule. We also have a bookcase covering a switch in one room, so using the remote allows putting the switch in a convenient place. They are compatible with apple, Alexa, etc which allows for easy voice control of the lights. There is a different model that comes with the required hub in a starter package, you need that to control remotely or to use Alexa. I bought the starter kit first. The switch installation was easy, if you can change a light switch, you can install this dimmer. The hub plugs into your router, and ac power. The remote installs to the wall without cutting in to the sheetrock or plaster. The lutron app on the smart phone works remotely to control the lights, no complaints with it. The only downside is the hub works with just lutron devices, and not other mfg devices such as thermostats, or color bulb (Phillips Hue). Currently we have the Phillips hub, and the Lutron hub, and as I add security or other automation, I will need to connect more hubs for those devices creating a clutter of USB adapters, Ethernet cables around the wireless router.
