> 3 dayThe bamboo cruiser is great. It has the perfect amount of flexibility so that it’s comfortable. It also has a beautiful design. The only thing I wish it had is better bearings. One of the bearings started making a clicking sound after my second time riding it. Other than that, it’s an excellent board for its price! I highly recommend it.

> 3 dayExactly as promised. Great deck, trucks, wheels, and bearings. I wanted a cruiser board for riding the asphalt trail a few miles to downtown. Great for me.

Greater than one weekWe got this board for my 6-year-old, who LOVES his older brothers longboard and really wanted one. Its clearly high quality and you can tell it will wear extremely well over the years (my older son has a different brand longboard, handed down from an uncle, thats 20 years old and perfectly worn in--you can tell that this board will be the same). It took a few days for the wheels to loosen up, but now my son goes up and down the street with his brother and is so excited about his early birthday present!

Greater than one weekI ordered this as my first board and fell in love with it. This board is great for beginners, its a solid board that looks great. Overall im happy with it. The only thing I was not happy about was the bearings and bushings. Im a bigger guy, I replaced the bushings with a stiffer Divine bushings right away which changed the feel of the board instantly. The stock bearings are okay but definitely not great. I switched those with a Bronson G2 bearing. The overall feel of the board with the new bushings and bearing changed dramatically.

> 3 dayRetiring an old handmedown Loaded drop through deck, and this is honestly so light and reactive to the riders directional control that, paired with Sidewinder trucks and good ceramic bearings, taking even some of the tightest turns becomes reasonable. Light as hell, feels like youre floating

16-11-2024This is my first long board and I had much hesitation buying the board online. I received the board very well packaged and it works great for a beginner longboard. The bearing that came with the board are not the best they do not roll very freely. I changed them out for Bones Big Ball bearings and the performance increased. I then changed the wheels and the trucks to Gullwing Chargers and the board is just an awesome board that rolls and turns real nice. I have a lot of fun with it. The board is great for the price I Think Magneto could provide better bearings for the same price of the board and it would be perfect the way it comes.

20-11-2024Update 4/12/2022 - So I replaced the spacers/bearings and I put the original wheels that came with the board. The wheels spin smooth now and no issue. I ran into another problem during a test ride. I heard a odd noise like a crack when I was riding. Now I have to replace the hardware too. I weigh around 175lbs during the ride all I did was push, carve, and kept it mellow. I am seriously thinking of replacing the trucks all together with a well known brand I have several boards from. I understand things happen and products have issues from time to time. Kind of ridiculous to have to replace all of these things. Just to go for a ride. In the future I will stick with my preferred brands. I added a new photo of where the board currently sits. It has my other two boards on top of it when I am not riding. I just hope the board holds up when riding it once I get everything switched out... Original Review - The board looks great and I am very happy with it. I searched for the tool that was supposed to come with it, and there was no tool. No worries I have plenty of skate tools on hand. I tested the wheels and they barely spun so I tried adjusting them first. It made no difference how loose I went. I decided to pull the wheels and bearings/spacers off. I had one heck of a time getting two of the wheels off and the bearings were difficult to remove from the wheels. When I finally got them off I decided put on new bearings and wheels off of my Carver Black Tip. The Roundhouse set with the Carver bearings spun beautifully. Maybe I got a dud with the wheel bearings/spacers on this board, no biggie. I really like how stable this board is when I jumped up and down. Also The ride is nice even though I switched out the wheels and bearings. Control was nice. The trucks are decent and I made sure to add some lube in the pivots it squeaked a bit. There was no lube in either pivots. It was a smooth ride for a quick test today. I think I am eventually going to grab new wheels and bearings for this board in the future. Please check your quality control. Other than that I am quite happy.

> 3 dayIm old. I hadnt been on a skateboard for over 30 years. But I became fascinated with the notion of using a longboard for exercise and commuting casually after seeing some videos. I brushed the thoughts aside for years, but this winter the dream of gliding along on a longboard on a sunny day finally pushed me into doing some web searching to find out if this dream was doable. It certainly is! After researching, I chose my Magneto 42 x 9 pintail to see if I could actually do the fantasy riding that sitting inside on cold winter days that had become somewhat obsessive for me. I placed my order for the board and elbow, knee, and wrist guards and hoped for the best. The board and guards arrived on a remarkably warm late winter day. It was ready to go straight out of the carton. I guarded myself up and stepped out to the back of my buildings parking lot and put the dream in motion. After a few moments standing on a flat portion of the lot and doing some leaning back and fro to get the distant muscle memories going, I started pushing myself forward towards a gentle downward slope. I initially stepped off quickly, but quickly gained confidence in the stable glide and the adrenaline rush of riding. I coasted to a stop and awkwardly pushed myself back to the top of the slope. It only took about 20 minutes to get the feel of riding once again. Turning and getting pointed in the right direction while pushing is going to take practice, and I havent had to pick myself up after a crash, so I cant review the guards just yet (thankfully). But its going to be fun getting to know this board. Its a beauty to behold and handles small obstacles like minor pavement cracks, twigs and pebbles with little difficulty. Without the aid of a kicktail and my own tentativeness, I still need to work on my skills to push off and make quicker course corrections as I ride. But Im ready for longer rides and I have no doubt this is the right board for me. And I think it will be the right board for you as well.

19-11-2024Where to start.... I was looking for a board for heavy riders, I’m 5’10” 245. Did some research and after reading reviews I picked this board. Most, if not all, the reviews you read are sponsored by the company, you get a free shirt for 5 star review. And you can get the same longboard online from magneto website by looking “longboard bamboo “ on google for $30 less then amazon. And if you try and return the board, you have to pay shipping and that is gonna run you about $30 -$45 The board came in about 3 days. Looks good out the box. Box was a little damaged, but the the kicks came with foam taped to them. The board was tight, trucks were tight, and wheels to tight to kick and cruise without a lot of effort. After I loosened up the trucks it was easier to carve. and the bearings I loosened up but it wasn’t enough til I cleaned them and lubed them with ceramic oil from Bronson bearings co. They roll better for sure but I still replaced them and eventually the wheels because they are horrible. I used soap shavings on the bushings and pivot cup to help with some squeaking I keep Hearing. Even my 10 yr old daughter and 140 pound girlfriend still make the board squeak. Over all, I’m not satisfied with this board. To learn on get a retrospect longboard, valador or quest longboard for cheaper. This board has amazing flex but squeaks crazy. The wheels are not the best and tbh probably the worst I’ve ridden. I upgraded the bearings with heady shake speed bearings, and the wheels with orangatangs cuguamas for a better ride. But for that price I could have just got a landyachtz or sector 9 board
