> 3 dayAt first I thought the bearings and wheels were complete junk. But I loosened all the axle nuts about a quarter turn and that freed up all the wheels a lot. They spin much better now. I had written a negative review prematurely, so Im here to edit it now. Okay, compared to another longboard I have with regular wheels, this one doesnt seem any faster, and is slightly less comfortable. It doesnt turn as well either. I bought it for one reason--low rolling resistance and, therefore, higher speed. It should do that, but again, it feels no faster than my other board. The larger and thinner wheels should make it faster. Maybe someone could do a more careful test of that than Ive done, which is just me using my impression as the sole evidence. Havent had any problems with it otherwise.

> 3 dayI bought this board for casual use and it adds a lot of fun to my dog-walking activity. So pushing around on a flat surface for approximately 5 miles a day. I love everything about the design. For me, the board has a perfect weight, nice flex, smooth ride, and overall excellent performance, but after only two weeks of riding the deck developed several long cracks. Given I am 210lbs, but I only use it to go straight on a flat surface of Illinois flatlands. Rolling down a small hill at approximately 10 mph was the craziest thing I did on this board. Very sad, because if not for the aforementioned flaws this is a really great board. Given the amount of 5-star reviews I am willing to give it a benefit of a doubt, maybe I got a lemon. Update: Ive reached out to Magnetostore and within minutes got a response. They requested some pictures of the damage and got back to me the next day saying that the replacement board is being shipped the same day. The replacement board arrived by FedEx in less than a week, even though Ive only asked for the deck to be replaced Magnetostore sent me the entire new board. Given the speed and quality of the customer service Ive received, I believe a 5-star review is in order.

> 3 dayThe stability of being level with the axel vs. being over it creates a much smother ride as well as being more stable beneath your feet. The wide deck offers lager footed persons, such as myself, an excellent platform. As well as contributing to the surf-like carving created by the set-up. The wheels and bearings are almost cloud like. Im amazed at some of the stuff I can just roll over instead of being a victim of inertia. Overall this is an excellent buy. Especially for the price. My only critique would be that the bushings are a bit too soft. However $11 gets you a set of 100a bushings on here. So its an easy fix.

> 3 dayHeres the bottom line folks: Buy this board if you like a minimal or classic style. I pride myself on doing inhuman amounts of research over products I aim to buy and this board fit my billet more than any other. Rest assured that if you have any doubts or worries or issues in the process or once you have this board, Magneto Boards will be there to help you. If you care to read my story, here you go: I purchased this board and received it in a week on a Friday. a bit long for Amazon standards but what the hay, that just added to my anticipation. It was however, much to my dismay that I would open my package and find that the paint of my new board was chipped! Thoroughly inspecting revealed that this was not a shipping mar but a manufacturing defect (see my picture). In these situations though, you have to take a breath and realize that no one is perfect. Mistakes DO HAPPEN and that is OK! ...of course though being a first world consumer, it was my obligation to seek rectification. That very Friday night I sent out a message directly to the seller and promptly the very next morning I was greeted with a friendly response engaging me about the nature of my complaint and offering me solutions to remedy it. Magneto Boards offered solution was beyond generous and honestly surprised me that over the internet they could make me feel like they were a friendly local business that I had known since I grew up. It is now the very next Tuesday and I await the arrival of my replacement board tomorrow! I only wish I could have had the name of the person that helped me that I could mention them in this post. Happy riding!

> 3 dayIm new to longboarding and Ive only had it for a week now but so far so good. At 220 pounds I was a bit worried about it holding my weight but it seems to be fine, no real flex in the board. A few skater friends said the bushings seemed a bit loose and when I tried to tighten them they popped out from under the washers, so I bought some yellow Nipple bushings and they seem to be fine. Ill update as I use the board more. Edit: 7/30/2017 Im down to 197 lbs and loving this board. Still keeping the 5 stars but its worth noting the trucks need to be tightened down a lot when you get it. I skated for a month before I realized my mistake and you can feel the difference. Also if the board gets wet youre going to need to re-tighten things when it dries.

> 3 dayThis long board is super fun! My daughter loves it and I (mom) ride it too! Its nice and wide and light weight, which makes it easy for a beginner and more advanced would love it too. It seems like the bearings are a bit tight or not very fast. Its seems like it should go faster. Might need to upgrade bearings. But overall its a great skate board and feels well made!

07-06-2025Im new to skating, specifically cruising and I gotta say this board was easy for me to ride. I started off with a 27.5 mini cruiser and found it to be to small. im a 6ft 190lbs man so I needed something bigger and wider so I can feel more stable. I ordered the 38 by 9 magneto board and it was perfect. The Magneto packaging is good, nice and compact, and the board is pretty much ready for use right out the box. I did listen to a couple of reviews about checking all the bolts to make sure nothing is loose and had to tighten the trucks a little and the bushings (optional depending on how tight you like them). Other than that, the board is nice and easy to ride. PS: The quality of the bearings and wheels seem fine to me but I am a beginner and this is my first longboard so I dont really have much to compare. Update: 9/27/18 So ive had this board for about 2 weeks now and I learned a lot since then. I bought some new bearings (heady shake) and right away felt the difference. I also bought new wheels (bigfoot mountain cruisers) which are bigger and harder (76mm, 80a verses the stock 70mm, 78a) and it made the board faster and smoother. Now I can comfortably say that the stock bearings are decent and worth upgrading considering theyre cheap to buy. As for the wheels, if you want to ride faster, id recommend buying some bigger wheels that are a little harder. Still dont know enough to have a firm opinion about the trucks/bushings but they seem good to me.

> 3 dayLongtime skater, first time longboader. Just got this board and Ive had it out a few times already. Like others, I had to tighten the screws of the trucks to the board as well as tighten the kingpin. Lots of flex in the board and trucks which is perfect for carving, which is what I wanted it for. It has great response for carving. I may tighten it up a bit more though for more stability. Its not built for bombing hills and not advertised to do so. I will eventually get new wheels and bearings. The ones that come with it are good with the total cost of the board, but I want something a little smoother and to spin a little longer. Overall great board.

> 3 dayGrip tape qc. They can do better. Bouncy and firm for cracked streets and driveways. If on smooth tarmac whoo ride is like riding on air. Takes getting used to of you are familiar with shorter boards.
