> 3 dayThis is the first time I am trying a bamboo drop-through, and I must say I am thoroughly impressed by what Magneto put together. The sleek look is not the only thing. The hardware right out of the box feels sturdy with high quality components without any inkling of cheapness found from one end of the board to the other. After a minimal amount of tightening of the wheels and baseplate, I took it out for a test spin. Maybe Im just used to stiff boards, but the first thing I noticed was the generous amount of flex the board allows as well as the buttery smooth handling of the trucks - giving a very comfortable and responsive ride. I think Im in love. I cant stop smiling when cruising and carving on this thing. Looking forward to many more miles with it.

> 3 dayI love the board I bought it with my first ever paycheck and it is very special to me it was also my first longboard I’ve only been riding for about 3 weeks and so far so good!

> 3 dayLove this board, use it to take the dog on runs. Smooth as glass on the road and sidewalks. I did put some reds in it since I had them but the ones it came with weren’t bad. Actually saved them for later.

> 3 dayThis long board is super fun! My daughter loves it and I (mom) ride it too! Its nice and wide and light weight, which makes it easy for a beginner and more advanced would love it too. It seems like the bearings are a bit tight or not very fast. Its seems like it should go faster. Might need to upgrade bearings. But overall its a great skate board and feels well made!

> 3 dayOld fat guy getting back into a boarding after 40 years. Just looking to cruise, and have a fun alternative form of transport. This is a great package, and I think worth a lot more than I paid. Love the flex of the board, the trucks are very good, bearings are great - theyre fast but that balances out the higher rolling resistance of the soft wheels. For my 280# though, the wheels were a little too soft and showed a fair amount of wear with just a modest amount of cruising. Dont let the lack of grip tape put you off. The grit they have on this board is every bit as good as grip tape. Not lack of confidence in the footing on this board, but time will have to tell the tale of how durable this material/method is. But those soft wheels, long, flexy board, its a cadillac smooth ride, shaka!

> 3 dayIts interesting. I never had a skateboard with grip tape like this. And with just about every skateboard you purchase, you may have to change the wheels or bearings, I happened to change my bearings with reds and its amazing now. Before changing the bearings, it takes a little more work to keep yourself cruising but its manageable if you dont care about that. I was looking for a longboard to cruise and dance with. I have big feet (size12ish 13) and I was afraid to get a product I cant really see. (Sorry about my picture of my feet but hey, I wanted to give reference Lol.) Yes, the product details have its dimensions but you can never be too sure especially when you order online. Ordered it. And its great. Definitely big and wide enough for my large feet and I love the quality of this board! If you doubting this board, well dont, because I doubted it but purchased it and I do not regret it! I provided some photos of the things you would be interested in and hopefully it did some justice.

> 3 dayRetiring an old handmedown Loaded drop through deck, and this is honestly so light and reactive to the riders directional control that, paired with Sidewinder trucks and good ceramic bearings, taking even some of the tightest turns becomes reasonable. Light as hell, feels like youre floating

> 3 daySo this is a pretty decent board for the price range. Solid grip, the trucks have good turn radius on them and I love the simplicity in the style. My only issue is the bearing aren’t that smooth. It doesn’t glide as long as I’d like for the amount of push I give. But that’s something I can easily fix. And I shouldn’t complain too much about a complete deck for so cheap. It’s a great starter board or just one for cruising around the neighborhood.

07-06-2025I wanted to wait before I made a review on this board....or as thoroughly as I could, and since its been a few months, I think its about time to do a review. Okay. This board was my first downhill board. Ive rode it not only down a few hills, but also to commute back and forth when I was working. At first, I thought that the mixture of bamboo, carbon fiber, and fiberglass made the board too flexy for me, but after not riding it for a few months, their wasnt as much flex as I thought. There is flex, but because of the mixture of carbon fiber and fiberglass counteracting it, it oddly makes it perfect to bomb down hills and do some deep carving. I compared it with the arbor longboard and love riding the Magneto Longboard more because of the W concave and how its helped me feel where my feet are on the board and how to keep my balance when pushing, how I dont have to move my feet that much, and how perfect the distance between the trucks and my feet were [I dont like having my feet under the trucks. It makes it very unstable and uncomfortable when Im riding and pushing.] I had to change the trucks and wheels to Caliber 44 degree trucks and shark wheels since they trucks were too high to my liking, and since where I live, it rains and has a lot of roads that have small rocks dirt and stuff, I wanted to be more safe and the road [as safe as I can be anyway]. To anyone who wants to buy the magneto board, I would say buy it. You can still ride it down hills with or without changing the set up, but if you really want to rip down hills and not worry about speed wobbles, then you might need to either change the hardware or change the bushings to riptide or venom bushings. All in all, awesome longboard and I would buy it again if I needed to buy another one.

> 3 dayWas really good in the beginning. I rode it for about half an hour and the bearings froze up on me. I can still ride the board, just that the bearings are not as smooth as when I first hopped on it. Definitely should have just ordered replacement bearings from bones at the same time as buying the board. Beautiful wood and bamboo
