I bought this last summer as a beginner and Iove it! It works great, still working on turning sharp corners but great for cruising

I turned 45 last month, and Ive always been intrigued by longboarding. So I pulled the trigger after I found this company. Im glad I did! Beautifully built longboard, that was fun right out of the box. Magneto Boards are built to look good as you can see, and so far Id say they are also built to be sturdy. Im 61 190lbs and the Hana Pintail feels like its solid under me. I may stiffen up the trucks when Im ready for bigger hills, but on flats and little declines, its ready to go right away. 5 of 5 would recommend... highly recommend. Ill buy more from Magneto as they have boards in stock!

i bought the 42 inch and the 36 inch for my son and i and they ran great for about a month. the trucks bearings and wheels are all trash so we’ve replaced ours and now it’s running flawlessly. in hindsight i should of just bought a deck at a skate shop.

Quality stick. Only 4 stars because the grip tape keeps peeling off. I’ll probably just go to a skate shop and pick up better tape. Other than that, smooth ride and the slot makes carving turns a lot more fun. I’m 57 and getting back into the groove. Much better than the Black Knight I rode as a kid with clay wheels. Lol.

When this board came in the mail. I thought how low it was would be a problem and it would scrape a lot, but it actually does not. Plus on top of that the scooter lookin wheels are some of the smoothest wheels I’ve ever ridden on. I changed the bearings tho to bones. Cause the bearings that came with it were not good, but that’s just a minor fix. The board is sturdy. And cuts through rocks like nothing. Just hope no ones directly beside you or they may get a rock to the dome. All in all great board, and trust me keep the weird wheels, just swap the bearings. You will not be disappointed!

Where to start.... I was looking for a board for heavy riders, I’m 5’10” 245. Did some research and after reading reviews I picked this board. Most, if not all, the reviews you read are sponsored by the company, you get a free shirt for 5 star review. And you can get the same longboard online from magneto website by looking “longboard bamboo “ on google for $30 less then amazon. And if you try and return the board, you have to pay shipping and that is gonna run you about $30 -$45 The board came in about 3 days. Looks good out the box. Box was a little damaged, but the the kicks came with foam taped to them. The board was tight, trucks were tight, and wheels to tight to kick and cruise without a lot of effort. After I loosened up the trucks it was easier to carve. and the bearings I loosened up but it wasn’t enough til I cleaned them and lubed them with ceramic oil from Bronson bearings co. They roll better for sure but I still replaced them and eventually the wheels because they are horrible. I used soap shavings on the bushings and pivot cup to help with some squeaking I keep Hearing. Even my 10 yr old daughter and 140 pound girlfriend still make the board squeak. Over all, I’m not satisfied with this board. To learn on get a retrospect longboard, valador or quest longboard for cheaper. This board has amazing flex but squeaks crazy. The wheels are not the best and tbh probably the worst I’ve ridden. I upgraded the bearings with heady shake speed bearings, and the wheels with orangatangs cuguamas for a better ride. But for that price I could have just got a landyachtz or sector 9 board

Its truly a wonderful board! I was waiting to long to by a new board and wanted a board with little to no speed wobbles while bombing hills. I didnt experience any wobbles while bombing hills and the board rides so smooth in general. I will mention that my board needed to have all screws tightened to the trucks before I officially took it out for a ride. Great price for a great board!

Good deal for the money- the board tracks quite well and the OEM trucks work well though changing the wheels and bearings will increase the speed. I started with longboards a year ago after having snowboarded for years and quickly mastered the basics but wanted something a bit faster that I could carry easily everywhere. and still ollie occasionally but control in crowded city commute environments with the capability to quickly reach high speed on open stretches. This board delivered for me at a reasonable cost between entry-level boards and the more expensive boards for people who absolutely know what they want. I am still experimenting a bit but out of the 4 boards I now own I keep coming back to this one most days.

So I held off a few months to write the review since I wanted to see how it held up and honestly it held up pretty well. To be honest, I think the board itself is pretty much the only solid part of the board. The wheels are alright but youll definitely need to replace the bearings. The trucks themselves are fine but youre going to have to replace the bushings after a bit. In the beginning it was fine but after a few months theyll get irreverably squashed which is super annoying when doing dance moves. Overall though its a solid beginner board for dancing, and Im pretty sure the board itself will last a ew years. Just replace everything else, haha. If magneto sold just the board then that would be what I suggest.

Ive been longboarding only for about 3 months and I only really longboard on campus to get to classes faster. My first board was a hand me down (Wiisham if you must know) and in comparison to Magneto, it was so much effort with a lot more pushing. I can cruise for so far with just one push and its sturdy -- I dont really fear pebbles or sticks, I just roll over them. However, when I go fast downhill, it gets wobbly? And then I fall. Im just a beginner so maybe its technique. Also note I didnt change the bearings, trucks, or wheels. Its an amazing complete board in my opinion.
