Mail Boss 7508 Curbside Mail Manager Security, Bronze Locking Mailbox

This works for what we needed. Erratic mail delivery schedules and our schedules necessated getting a locking mail box. We have had some prowling in our vicinity. Wanted to make sure our mail is secure until we collect it.

We purchased this mail box after we had our mail stolen twice. Luckily local mail theft stopped for a while but it seems they have returned. I assume they tried a pry bar but all they got was some paint chips. The mail box is still in great condition. No dents or signs of damage besides the chipped paint. Our neighbor has a similar mail box but their hinge is bent whereas ours is not. Would purchase again.

After several instances of finding my previous locking mailbox pried open, I bought and installed this one from Mail Boss. No ones getting into this baby without a key! It looks great, it was easy to install, and now I dont have to worry about getting my mail. I love that its deep enough to hold several days of deliveries so if I go out of town, it will all be waiting for me when I get back. No complaints at all, and the price on Amazon is the same as I found at Home Depot and Lowes in my area.

Great for our busy street. Would be better if the lock was on the back so you dont have to stand in the road.

I bought this from this seller, because they said next day delivery. Its late 2 days....not cool, I could have bought from someone else and received it sooner.

We were having mail theft in the neighborhood. I got tired of finding my mailbox left open. We bought the Mail Boss manager mail box and we love it! You can go on vacation and not have to stop your mail delivery. It handled a weeks worth of mail nicely, My husband and I installed it by ourselves and we are both 73 years old.

This is a very nice and sturdy, secure mailbox. I used a 4x4 pressure treated timber on the inside of the post. I read that the chemical used to pressure treat the wood will rust the inside of the post, so I sprayed Rust-Oleum on the inside of the post to help protect it from rusting. My general contractor did a great job on the cement base for the mailbox. I was very disappointed that the screw thread in one of the screw holes in the post was stripped so the screw could not be taken out in order to attach the mailbox box to the post. I didnt discover this until the day before I was getting my mailbox installed. I wanted to return the post, but luckily, my general contractor was able to work his magic to attach the mailbox to the post securely, with 4 screws that are tightly adhered to the mailbox and post.

Nice solid box. Ample size. Easy to retrieve mail. I like that the postal carrier doesnt need a key but can just drop the mail in like at a book drop. Bolts down securely with 4 - 5/16 lag bolts (supplied). Its a bit of work to reach in and tighten the back lag bolts but I like the fact that the bolts are inside the secure portion of the box and cant be tampered with. Im confident that this will stop your ordinary mail thief.

This has been a great purchase. I would highly recommend to anyone who has issues with folks going through their mailbox. Its secure, large enough for small packages and is made well.
