I lost the first version in the yard . Bought this in 2017 to replace it. Just found the original one and after 2 years in the heat & rain, the battery will not charge but the light works like new. Go figure. Makita makes a solid set of rechargable tools. Keep up the good work.

Very bright. Hook is very convenient. Makita quality. Id buy more but seems like it should $20 cheaper. Definitely worth having one if you already have Makita tools

You can use this light in a lot of different ways as it is adjustable and BRIGHT. My husband really likes it.

My boss introduced me to this work light. It is extremely practical. It twists and turns and hangs and doesnt use a cheap charger. It needs makita batteries.

Not for long distance lighting but awesome to flood a close by area of work space!

This is my 4th one. Has enough light to battle darkness a few hours before the rest of the world wakes up. Great for getting an edge by working before and after. Great for paining, drywall, mechanicing, plumbing, electrical… …can’t think of any situation that isn’t made better. First one LEDs started flashing after 4 yes of heavy use . Second one took a plunge in Colorado River while stupidly working on a dock @ 05:30 am. Water was too cold to dive for it, when it was recovered, it was covered through Orange box store. It took a while but battery was replaced as well. Tip : 3ah battery $90.00 will power this light & is much less expensive to replace than a 5ah $150.00 Lost 3rd one, left on bumper and was home before I noticed it gone. Backtracked my steps, someone already picked it up within 12 minutes. Im gonna be disappointed when they discontinues this awesome light. Need to get a cabinet full of these. I am definitely sold on Makita. Great products, from my 50+ GA7911 to my newest. They just last, no duds. Not disposable like certain yellow or red ones.

Dont know what took me so long to get this. Used it to install a retrofit bathroom fan and had to kill the lights. Lit up the area perferct. Anyone with a makita 18v set needs one.
