> 3 dayUseful to light hard to reach dark places (adjustable neck) with bright and battery sparing LED lights. Also useful during hurricane power outages to light up a room. It fits all Makita 18V LXT® Lithium-Ion Batteries. You can also get a battery attachment to charge USB devices. With Makitas quick charger, a battery can be recharged in 30-60 minutes (depending on battery size).

> 3 dayBright, compact handy lamp. As with all battery operated Makita tools, it uses the 18 V battery. The nice thing is that Makita doesn’t change battery sizes every few years as other manufacturers do, so the tool won’t become obsolete, or you won’t need two sets of batteries and chargers as are needed when battery sizes change.

> 3 dayThe lamp looks ok, but the light on its own IS NOT BRIGHT like other cheaper lamps. Not even the first click which is the brighter is not too bright, so if you are looking for a bright light get another one. I had a cheaper hyper tough light that was much brighter

Greater than one weekIm changing all the electrical fixtures in the house and this handy device has been great. I was on the fence on whether I wanted this device with its unidirectional light vs. the DML806 with is 360° light. Now that Ive used the DML801, I think I made the right choice. I like being able to direct the light onto what youre working on and not into your eyes as well. I can work for several hours with the light and its still above 75% power with a 2.0 mAh battery. The articulation of the light is great enabling you to get the light precisely where you want it.

> 3 dayA very impressive and user friendly work light. I originally bought 2 because they were on a promotion with a battery included and I wanted the batteries, but I didnt think I would like the lights much at all. They turned out to be some of my favorite! Compact, extremely versatile, and put off quite a bit of light!

Greater than one weekAwesome! I left the light on for 4 or 5 hours with all 12 bulbs glowing while working on my truck. The battery was either my 3.0 or 4.0 and had already been used for many tasks over the last month without a charge. The light went out about 15 minutes before I was done. If the battery was fully charged it would have kept the light on for much longer.
