> 24 hourI bought mine at Home Depot, so I paid a bit more for it, and I thought it pretty pricey for a light. Since I have the Makita 18V batteries, I bit the bullet anyway, and I am very glad I did. Its a great light, a charge lasts a long time even with the 3 AH batteries, and this is now the first light I reach for. The head that pivots two ways makes it very versatile, and unlike a mains-powered drop light, it doesnt produce a lot of heat. I find that the low setting is often enough.

> 24 hourTerrific LED light that is very versatile and has great battery life, especially when compared to the Makita fluorescent work light models. My only complaint is that is doesnt have a battery level indicator (3 bar type) like the newer Makita LXT tools. Highly recommended.

> 24 hourI use this light a whole bunch. Very bright, even the low setting provides enough light for most household tasks. The small 1.5 amp batteries work well on this light and keep it light and maneuverable. The larger 5 amp batteries provide what seems like a weeks with of non continuous light and a more solid base. The hook works as designed but I found myself not using the included hanging strap. The wife and kids also use this light a lot and I’ll probably buy another one or two to keep in different parts of the house. Great light over all. I use it far more then I expected to.

> 24 hourLike all Makita products I’ve used they are well built and up to the task. Multiple positions puts the light where you need it. Doesn’t come with battery so if you don’t already have an extra you’ll need to purchase a spare which can be expensive.

> 24 hourAnyone that has been around the block a few times knows how awesome the Makita brand is so yeah I like it, it uses the same battery as my other Makita drill and driver just wish they were made in Japan like my other Makita products this one is made in China.

> 24 hourThis is a near-perfect light for illuminating your personal work area, with just the right amount of light (with two brightness settings) for that job, many ways to position it, and all-day battery life with the 4 Ah battery I have from another tool. It provides useful light up to the size of a small room, but if you need to see something across a large room or light any size room without shadows, another style of light would work better for that. I havent had it long, but Ive used it on a couple of jobs around my house and car and it seems to be well-made and durable. This seller was $20 cheaper than the big orange home store.
