Not bad but, for the price, not as bright as I was hoping.

This is a very cool little shop lamp. The design puts the battery at the very bottom. It is light by design so the weight of the battery stands this thing up firmly. This is a stable lamp while standing on its own. The design of the head to pivot and adjust makes pointing the light where you want it easy...and it stays there. The included hooks are good size and actually are installed properly for the weight displacement. Not just a hook attached to it. Fold up pretty well for good storage. I only wish it were brighter. By no means is this a dull light, but It could be brighter...I would like it to have a brighter setting. The Hi/Low settings work by turning off half of the LEDs. With the 18 volt battery, I have yet to even have any power problems. The swiveling head and folding light surface make getting the light where you need it a simple task. 360 degree radius. Again, works great, designed better then anything I have used in the past. Solid stay put lamp. Perfect.

Bought this to use on the job since I have a bunch of makita tools/batteries already. I find myself using it the shop wrenching more often than not. Beats using a corded shop light any day.

Just purchased, and have only used it once. Its well made, lightweight, very bright on max setting, and bright on half setting. I think itll last a long time as other Makita products I own.

Ive has this unit for a few years and only used it a little. Now turning on the switch it goes of in a few seconds. Turns right back on and goes back off. Recharged the battery but the same. Must be some weird problem. Not the battery because it works fine in my Makita drill.

very handy, last a very long time with a 3.0 battery. could be a bit brighter. still love it though

Nice product for who own Makita LXT Batteries . it is not bright as the new generation Leds (the yellow type)

Words great hanging out a scaffold to add some extra light to darker areas I am working in. Sure it would work great in any situation. Very bright. A pleasant change from the headlamp at times.
