Greater than one weekgreat working flood light. Its got a strap for putting it over your shoulder and a nice big hook that works on lots of stuff. the battery life is very impressive 24hours for a 3ahr battery and 48+ hours for the 5ahr battery.

> 3 dayi use this Light professionally in the Plumbing/HVAC field and it hold up great, like accidentally dropping it multple times with a battery 10ft+ onto concrete and no issues yet had this almost a year and use it every day, plus a full battery will give like 16hrs of full brightness light

> 3 dayI use it a lot for my Plumbing and Heating repairs in dark places. LED lights do not drain the battery that fast, so a few hours of work is not a problem with any of the 18 volt batteries. If you want something to light up a large area, like under the hood of a car while working on a wide range, then this is not enough lumens.

> 3 dayGreat flood light. I often use this when visiting places with no indoor lighting. The bendy adjustable hook and the flexibility of the light itself lends to some pretty creative ways of getting it to stay put in a variety of locations and positions. Durability of the parts you interact with seems to be pretty good; the button holds up to lots of use, the swivel hinge seems pretty stout, and the battery connection seems solid after many uses. Likely would not survive an overhead drop on the ground with a battery attached since the plastic does not appear to be the typical polycarbonate used in other Makita tools. With a little 2 amp hour battery running at half power, itll last just about an entire night or a full day, with periodically setting it to higher power. Ive now bought THREE of these and its kinda my favorite light :) It comes packaged with some goofy hook and a lanyard which is kinda fiddly. I cant imagine anyone actually uses that. It might be nice if there were another built in hook that flipped out of the end the battery connects. Makes a half decent walking around light, if youre out at night with a group and someones got a standard flashlight, being the guy with a floodlight offers a nice benefit, so long as youre careful to not beam people in the eyes with the wide, bright array of light.
