> 24 hourThe cable is long enough to lock at least 4 bikes together. It winds up nice to be able to stow in the bike bag or backpack. Weve used this to lock our kayaks to our truck as well.

> 24 hourAwesome security device, and a bargain. Ive used chains on my rural gate that only the largest bolt cutters could handle. But had them cut. Chains are expensive. The equivalent length of chain was costing me almost twice as much. And cable is almost impossible to cut with almost anything you can hold in your hands. An unexpected improvement over chain is the sleeve. Not only does it protect from rain, but it makes removing and replacing the chain on a metal gate a less than nerve-rattling experience. The cable is also lighter than the equivalent chain, which can be a real issue with a heavy chain of same length. Saved me a lot of cash and I dont think I will be having so many break-ins.

> 24 hourBeing a photographer/storm chaser, I sometimes have to leave my gear (several thousand dollars worth) in the vehicle when I dont really want to. While everything is insured, Id rather not come back to find it smash and grabbed and have to deal with replacing it. So this year I bought Pelican cases (which are super strong) and this cable, as well as a couple of locks. This this is really thick! What I do is run this cable down around the factory seat mounts (these are made to withstand crash forces) and then put the ends into the locks I put on the Pelican cases. Sure, if someone had enough time and could make enough noise, they could probably eventually either cut the cable, the locks or the lock place on the cases. But the intent here is to prevent any smash and grabs when I HAVE to leave the gear in when I go in a store or something. I think this will work perfectly for that scenario, and give me some peace of mind. Its all about making it harder for someone to grab your stuff, so they move on to the next car.

> 24 hourJust like their locks, this cable is heavy duty, seems well made and I feel like it will last longer than me.

> 24 hourThis is a very durable and well made cable. I use this cable to lock down my items that are aboard the roof rack of my 4runner to keep anyone from stealing the items up there. I love the exterior finish of this cable, its made of some kind of soft synthetic plastic that will not scratch up my paint. The metal cable inside is very strong and has yet to show sine of any weakness. I keep it outside in the weather constantly facing harsh conditions such as sub zero temps to a very scorching blazing sun that loves to bake things. I strap this down under high tensions and it has yet to break on me, I would recommend this product to anyone that is looking for a good cable for security.
